It really helps me get to sleep even when my brain won't stop regurgitating the day 🙂. I've customized my sleep sounds with light rain, thunder, ocean waves and cat purring (I have 7 cats that don't get to sleep with me 😾). I can adjust the level for each sound. I use a timer for the amount of sleep I plan to get. There is a slight blip when the loop starts over but it's not that noticable. I play it thru my phone which stays on my night stand.

Historically I have difficulty falling asleep. "sleep sounds" gave personalized options. There was no programmed track; I was able to quickly sample the sound effects & the music tracks & fidget w/ the controls until it was perfect for me. Now, that is good in itself, simple design, but I was EXCITED EVEN MORE by the fact that last night I FELL ASLEEP B/4 TEN MINUTES HAD PASSED!!! Definitely will be telling my friends to check this app out. THANK YOU, SLEEP SOUNDS💋🛏️

Great customizability... however the sounds tend to loop so there's a noticeable gap. A suggestion would be to Crossfade the beginning with the end of the track for each of the sounds in order to avoid noticing this. There also needs to be a way of adjusting the speed for each of the sounds. As an example of the Loons call too quickly.

I had another simple fan app and wanted to try something new. I was NOT disappointed! The fact that you can mix sounds makes for an incredibly rich and diverse environment. The addition of thunder and other sporadic sounds means you won't wake up when some random noise goes off in the house. This app is very well put together. That k you so much.

I JUST downloaded this app, easily whipped up my own little customized soundtrack, set the tome for 2hrs &... ahhh. I'm NOT NOT NOT even close to being techy, so if I say it's easily...IT'S EASY! Someone said the good stuff is being held back for the "pro" version, but I've found the opposite, imo. Not only do they give you a lot of different sounds to choose from, they also allow you to adjust the sound level of each one! I just deleted all my other sleep apps... this is THE BEST! GN ~ 🥱😴

It's a different kind of sleep sound. You can combine different sound combinations, making your own personalized nighttime background "music." There are extra sounds that you can access with a paid subscription, but I have found the free level is more than sufficient for me. I have not even begun to check out all the different sound combos yet.

This app is great. You can do a mix of different noises and change the volume so one is not too loud or quieter than the other. Would definitely recommend to anyone who finds peace and relaxation to the noises of nature, weather, or even the city. It has it all and is the perfect white noise machine. You can set a timer on it too or you can have the timer off and just have it continuously running in the background while your screen is locked too. This is all accessible for free.

Soothing. I use it on the 1 hour timer for sleep and with no timer for my stretching and light workouts. Also, it plays even when I lock the screen, which some apps turn off. Many of the tracks come with a serene light background, which is extremely relaxing when used to fall asleep. I highly recommend it. Also, only one ad at the beginning of the selection, and then no interruption.

I love this app so much!! I would rate it a 5, but there's just one issue. Everytime I turn on a sound, it'll turn off 10 minutes later. Then I'll turn it on again, it will last maybe 15 minutes, then it will turn off again. It officially works on the 4th time of turning it on again, and it'll last me my entire sleep time (8+ hours). I've tried doing a timer, but it doesn't make a difference, and I've fixed my settings too. So other than that, I really love this app. I just wish it would stay on

I have two issues/problems. When the bluetooth disconnects, the auido then comes from my phone's speakers, at a higher volume. If I go to the bathroom and bt disconnects, this wakes my wife. Other apps pause audio if disconnected. Secondly, when using with BT headphones, there is a frequent, brief pause of audio, which is irritating when I'm trying to sleep. Fix these two issues and the rating would be 5 stars, and I'd purchase the pro version

I love this app, it's perfect for me when I have an anxiety attack or if I'm paranoid which does happen on a bad day with my MH & also to block out noises at night. Two things I hate from it is it does stop by itself in the middle of the night without finishing its time & a website of a fake Amazon winning gift card that happens on its own without touching the ad in the bottom. It's a great app, has wonderful customs & perfect time settings for yourself.

I'm one of the people that needs a fan noise to sleep better and this app helped me when I'm on vacation. Even when at home it's great. There's so many sounds to use and some I just don't understand but it's fine. You can also combine doffrent sounds and set timers. If you want simple noises they have a fan, white noise, pink noise, and brown noise at the bottom I think. I tots recx9mend this app and it's great!

I really like that each sound has its own sliders and that you can kind of make a mix that way really easily; but I really don't like the fact that the sounds have a dead spot when they loop. Like the sudden going silent is kind of jarring. Really well designed app If you could clean that up.

I love that I can mix sounds and music! My husband snores a lot at night and some sounds help me falling asleep. Personally I like to combine white noise with whatever it's happening outside (white noise+rain, white noise+crickets, white noise+wind, etc). However there's some sounds where you can notice the loop, I would like to have a good transition between the begining and the ending of the sound because it happens every 20 seconds which is not enough for me to fall asleep and not notice it.

I never leave reviews for apps, but this one came in clutch. We were in the midst of a power outage, rendering my own white noise machine useless, which I CANNOT sleep without. This app was straightforward and had tons of free options. I especially like how you're able to create your own mix! Thank you Sleep Sounds!!!!

I had been using a different Sleep Sound app for years, and they recently added a annoying "Discover" tab you are forced to see even if you pay to remove ads, the sound quality seemed to get worse as well, and you couldn't control it from the drop down menu anymore. So I gave this app a try and am very glad I did! The sound quality is nice, it's easy to use, and it doesn't have incredibly invasive ads that don't go away even if you subscribe.

Insanely good app being able to adjust the volume on each and every sound is such a great feature. A few of the sounds aren't seamless loops but most are, for stuff like the music selections they aren't long tracks. Cafe was one of my more favored tracks until I just couldn't listen to it anymore. Very solid variety, I've been using it for years and besides of rain&thunder that my brain can't map and memorize, *more* variety would go a long way. Top tier free ambience, eat that tinnitus!
