Very intuitive to use. I've tried quite a few star apps. This is by far the best so far. I would highly recommend...

Don't fall for there free trial scam ,you get a email telling you when the free trial ends and you can cancel at this link ,do that and still get billed ,complain about it and then run around starts, nice rort.just an update, after trying to get this refunded I finally get contacted after I send the third email to them telling them I have left a bad review because of their lack of support, and offers to pay me the money back if I edit my review, then gets upset when I tell them no,still no refund.

I'm disappointed that this app doesn't have live sky where you can point the phone to the sky and see what is there UPDATE 8/9/24 I don't know if it was the fact that I've got a new phone, or the Android system has been updated to 14, or what. I thought I would give it another shot and sure enough it view the night sky live. I will enjoy this app now.

This eclipse app is okay. You can select a location and it'll tell you the four timings for contact (first, totality, exiting totality, and last). My huge complaint is that I purchased the app but the audio alarms are a "pro" feature that requires their subscription service. Who wants to spend their viewing experience looking at their phone to check time when they should be looking at the sky? The audio warnings/alarms should be included, I can get the timings for free from the internet.

I was introduced to this software using their desktop Starry Night pro to create 4d archaeo astronomy animations for monument structures in central Mexico. the phone application is sufficiently powerful to allow further investigation at other locations. I recommend all my students download this app and upgrade to the pro version as possible. I wonder if it is possible to add custom viewable horizons for further research dissemination. Thank you

Honestly, save your money for pro/+ if you're looking for a stargazing app for a telescope. Free sky safari does everything this does, The UI's are just nicer. I was impressed with the new UIs but was deeply disappointed with the fact that almost nothing is new features wise. Object placement is accurate. There is no equipment option. You do get access to 3D models of planets and nebulae, so that's neat. If it's a 3D observatory thing you're looking for, Celestia has a larger selection.
