I updated when it was switched to the key system for unlocking ships. Really kind of took away from the gameplay. I've been stuck on a few levels and have been just making cash and watching ads for months. Have not earned a class b it above ship yet. Tried the upgrade route, spent lots of time gathering coin and upgrading to make precisely zero difference. It is just a slog in the mud, wallowing in your own impotence. Slack up a little, find that balance and I'll gladly go back to 5 starts again

Very fun space shooter. I love the asthetic! It's retro in a minecraft-y way and is pleasing to the eye. I've been playing for an hour now with the starter ship and have not been bothered by ads at all. so far, unlocking other ships depends on competed missions which have been easily done with the initial ship. This is a "fly through the stage killing enemies" not a Galaga-style "enemies file in and attack" game. Hopefully that makes sense. Highly recommended game.

Good and very responsive control. Art style is nice, love the planes voxels. The only draw back is the color code for enemy projectiles can sometimes be confusing. Maybe they should be more into red and orange while collectibles green/blue it will make it more recognizable in dense battles (the tanks projs are almost same shade of blue as blue diamonds only brighter).

The game is actually pretty good in general, boasting tight control and great performance. The micro transactions are fair, allowing you to get all the ships and drones for about $70ish, with each premium ship also granting an additional benefit, like doubling end of mission rewards without ads and some such. The main complaints I have are there are no seasonal events and rewards, and every time you start a mission, you hear an annoying child voice yell, "Start!" Even if they couldn't add seasonal levels and stuff like that, it would be great if they removed that stupid voice. Music and sound great otherwise.

I downloaded this about a week ago and I'm loving how this game makes use of ads. Instead of having them pop up at random you can watch them when you want for decent in game rewards. On to the game itself to keep it brief it's a vertical arcade shooter with visuals that makes good use of the blocky pixels that make up the ships and levels and it has a nice chill soundtrack. Most importantly it's a fun way to kill time.

This game is a super fun idea and i enjoyed playing it. You also get fairly rewarded to watch advertisments. One major issue I found kind of ridiculous. In order to get a three star on the further levels you have to watch advertisements no matter if you performed a lot better on that level. It feels like EA's Pay to win and i don't recommend that on any one who likes earning stuff without having to watch advertisments or have to spend 3 bucks on something so little.

I really like the gameplay & graphics, which gives this game an 80's vibe to it! The controls seem a bit stiff (at first) but you'll get the hang of rolling side to side as the game progresses. My only dislike are repetitive the Ads. While Sky Wings may appear as a "simple", easy-to-play retro game, each level gets more intense aside from the opponents becoming aggressive. But, hey don't let that discourage you! I'd like to see a sequel to Sky Wings in future!

Solid 4/5 experience. Would recommend this game to anyone looking for a classic topdown shooter. Biggest complaint: you can't navigate anywhere in the app without it suggesting you buy something. Plus the ads have grown more persistent (one even requires me to press the x to close the task, ratherthan being able to hit the back button like a normal person.

Excellent game, but would it please be possible to collect all achievements in one go (with a press of a button)? At the moment, it takes me 20 minutes of pressing the collect coins button in order to collect all achievements I've unlocked, only because it goes level by level (for example for every 50k coins collected, when you collected millions I let you imagine how long it takes to press the collect button...). Really ridiculous issue. Thanks.

7/16/20 Edit: The latest updates locked all my previously unlocked ships, and raised prices on items that could be previously obtained through ads. Also removed the ability gain crystals through ads daily. Not interested in playing this anymore... Fun game, good music. Seems to be an issue with the "free" crystals button. Sometimes, it straight up doesn't work. Other times, you've got to click it a bunch of times to find the right spot for it to take you to the ad

Best shoot em up. Best game i have found. Challenging to the max. So many levels. So many ships. (Loved the free trials). You handle ads as well or better than most developers. Keep on trucking. To add, i have never watched so many ads. It is great. You all dont make it difficult to watch the ad theres lots of true 5 second ads. And the rewards for watching are worth it. Great job

The single best game. Nostalgic as F. Love it. The original game mid-summer 2017 was absolutely astonishing to me. Limited ads and many spaceships to play through the game. This was the first game I didn't mind paying to get rid of ads and even after that I continued to support it by watching ads to try out ships, or continue on in the infinite mode and etc. I loved the fact that they were among the few who did not shove WATCH ADS down our throats. Although now it became just that. Plz revert.

Update: still playing in '22, 5years later. I keep coming back, and it keeps evolving. There's more in-app purchases now... But still a great game. One of the top 10 phone games I've played. Stick with it - without buying anything, I'm still enjoying it! Finally got to world 8, exploring all the new ships. Devs are clever, very active, very responsive. I want to buy something just to support them. Great game, great controls, great dynamics and visuals, and EVERYTHING BLOWS UP!!

Great game that needs controller support to shine. Touch screen controls are inadequate beyond the rookie difficulty, your finger obstructs the view of the ship and the minefield of projectiles you're dodging. My finger tips also get sweaty in short order and make smooth, precise movement very difficult. I suppose I could buy a stylus, but that is still worse than a controller with dpad. It's frustrating because this is truly a great top down shooter.

Really fun retro game. Good music, backdrops and most importantly fun gameplay. Unfortunately, by the time you get to stage 9 you will be forced to either make in app purchases to upgrade your ship or watch a ton of advertisements to double in game currency from missions as the upgrades get significantly more expensive while the rewards increase in much smaller increments.

This game used to be great. At one point, you were able to hustle enough coins to purchase ships. Now, in an attempt to get more money, you can only use coins to purchase lower tier ships. Also, the elf wings you could get every ten minutes. Instead of that now you have to watch an ad. Not only that, you typically only get a Shield boost or magnetic field increase. Lame.

Great game. Challenging at times, so it keeps me engaged. I havent played it in a few months, and i just got back to playing it today... And it seems to be harder when you get to bosses. They are bosses after all! Although I did prefer the pause button to be the 2nd finger tap. EDIT: On the S23 Ultra and having issues. The ship controls are very shaky and jumpy. Lost pinpoint accuracy and unfortunately makes it borderline unplayable.
