The controls are bad in this game and the ai will always be faster and tanker then you. Instead of making them better and they can block attacks way before the animation starts. It's a decent fighting game overall. Personally I recommend the original game over this thing. Also the review editing is bugged. For the most part this game isn't a skill based fighter it's stats based. Also turning on the ai for the game to play for you is way worse then doing it yourself for some reason. Although the ai in the game can attack way faster then you the one you can turn on is way slower and doesn't have the same aggression. But then agian i feel like the ai was place in there to counteract the terrible controls.

I love Skullgirls on PS4 and I love it here too. The characters are great, the music a freaking banger, and the controls are very good with the exception of the blocking. It feels like every time I block my character would either upper cut or grab and it really gets on my nerves when fighting in the more difficult levels. However everything else is great.

This game is spectacular! I love the characters and modes this game has. My only complaint is some of the glitches within fighting. Besides the random error messages after the battle ends, there are also glitches when a certain special move would either not work at all, or repeat itself. One example is Eliza VS Painwheel. Whenever I use "Upper Khat" while Painwheel falls, it doesn't do anything. The move works for the other characters when they fall, but not with her. Good game, overall.

Overall pretty decent, the controls work, the game is balanced to an extent, but the online is a bit jacked. First and foremost, the punishability of basically everything is a bit to high, meaning if you mess up in any way you are most likely going to lose half your roster to an obnoxious pinwheel main. I get it's hard to adapt a balanced fighting game to mobile, I'm just expressing my opinion on the game.

I own and infrequently play the PC version, and when I saw this I expected a clunky mobile remake to cash-grab at the name recognition. Then, I saw it was free to play, and being a fan of the series, I picked it up juuust in case it was good... And it IS! Almost everything from the art, the characters, the gameplay, it's all here, and seamlessly translated to a good, well made mobile format, and you'd think it being free to play makes it "pay to win", and it has a bit of that don't get me wrong, but if you do that, you're just cheating yourself out of gameplay honestly. 9/10.

Its a fun game to play whenever you're bored and just for fun! There are a few issues I dislike though. Mostly the RNG scale when it comes to getting fighters, My latest issue is the newest relic. It states to gave you twice the chance to get the newest character, Umbrella, but I have opened 10 of those and I have not gotten a single one. I don't have money to buy the 11 pack deal for umbrella so rolling is my best option and it's proving not to go so well. It's a great game and fun overall.

ads are optional and the game's easy to play! I'm glad they have accessibility features that reduces flashing lights (however, even with the option enabled, there's still quite a bit. namely with blockbuster moves.) many people complain about the censorship. but that's not a reflection on the game itself. the art is amazing, and so is the lore and character designs. my main problem is with how difficult getting gold can be. and I dislike the battle pass, just because too many games have them now

It's been about a year since getting the game. Honestly am loving it, the characters, basically everything about it. To me it's one it those games where I don't fully need to be an expert at this game and I can just play it. Ofcourse playing the story mode is the main thing that counts in order to understand the game and each character individually. I am still looking forward to those updates that they have set out in the near future!

The game is Hella fun. No forced ads, no game breaking bugs, expansive roster, and easy to obtain currency. The game is free to play, but you can spend money. The level up system is fair and doesn't take too long. Pro tip: save your theonite for when you get the hyperpacks. It is very much worth it. I would definitely recommend if you like gachas.

This game is actually well made, taken care of, not buggy more than a just a SMALL bit that doesn't ruin your gameplay that much. However, I do want to whine about the parallel universe or whatever the name is game mode. I upgraded a lot of moves and characters only to login and play a match, I beat the first enemy instantly and it crashes. I loaded back in to see all three of my best fighters dead. And he problem with that is. THEY'RE DEAD FOREVER UNLESS YOU REVIVE THEM. Until then, 4.7 ★'s

Excellent mobile adaption of the console/PC game. Beautiful graphics and a fair "pay to win" system (you can unlock everything in the game just by playing for free). However, there NEEDS to be an option to turn off the timer. I have lost way more matches due to time rather than skill. It's extremely frustrating. Gameplay is fast and fun, with great customer support.

I love the variety of things you can do playing this game. It rewards you for grinding because there's just so much to unlock. It can be argued the combos are too long but I think it's perfect considering the difficulty most take to deliver them. I enjoy the tripping mechanic and blocking is hard but it's a learning curve for each character. Beautifully designed game and I'm glad to find this gem

I gave the game a 5 stars for 5 years straight, but my opinion has changed now. It's far too difficult to earn gold and diamond keys for upgrades. The rewards for the backstage pass and in game mail offers way too little, but the game wants so much in return. Theonite price for special relics are too pricey. The relic probability is frustrating, especially when you work hard for the relics only to get silvers and bronze all day. Some challenges are nearly impossible to complete. 2 out 5 stars.

Been playing the game for a year, and have not found disappointment with anything related to the game. The battle pass is kinda eh, but that's only because I can't grind as often as I used to. The new game modes (and Marie!) are really fun to play and try out, so you rarely need to revisit the story mode for xp. Although, I do wish diamonds were easier to obtain, since I'm level 51 and only ever had 3 diamonds. Then again, I've never paid. Edit: Fur Monger Black Dahlia's issue fixed now.

This used to be my absolute favorite game, even when compared to console or pc. But there's been a trend lately that has made it almost impossible for me to keep playing. The two biggest issues I've noticed is that there's too much pressure from time limited things, and the diamond characters have become too bloated. With a diamond character being added and only accessible for a month, and is not guaranteed, it is very demoralizing for long time players.

Awesome game the only bad parts is dealing with Levelling up your people balancing abilities and sometimes forgetting controls also your enemy can just chain wipe your entire team make it so your character is invulnerable for at least 3 seconds once you drop into the battle (when your character dies only or else it would be annoying to have someone who abused it and swaps there character all the time)

The game is kinda good at its core but there is just no fun. The way that you're supposed to play the game is just boring. Ai is so annoying to fight against and players online only turtle. Dash attacks or swipe forward is really hard to feel out how to act after cuz most times the ai picks the right option 60% of the time, getting interrupted if I attack and thrown if I block. I wish there was more to do in neutral so it didn't feel like it's forcing this frustrating gameplay.

It's pretty good, something to note is that there is a high chance it WON'T overheat your phone. Which is a huge plus. I know a total of 3 people that play this (myself included) and none of us have had an overheated phone Had a bug that kicks me to the login screen every time I try to do a rift battle, but other than that things are great. Edit: Bug solved, I had another device that could get to rift battles on my account and later uninstalled it, restarted my phone, then reinstalled it.

Really fun game with amazing visuals and actual compelling gameplay. There are many micro-transactions, but none of them have felt necessary for me, despite playing for weeks. The rewards, from currency to the character gachas, have felt so refreshingly generous. It gets a bit slow at times, but that's where the fighting saves the day. It has a real skill ceiling that feels good to reach, but isn't hard due to the simple controls. Some fights are..meh, but rarely unbeatable. Also, great music!

I am absolutely in love with this game, the art and ability to be strategic, just so much about it is amazing! However, the app keeps freezing and even while I win a match, it'll freeze and force me to restart. When I do this, it will tell me I lost and I lose my ability to use the characters I had used to actually WIN (says win) before the game froze. It becomes discouraging after it happens randomly, unsure if it's even worth a try when it does that to me, esp in rifts or parallel realms.
