What the heck happened to buzz option??!!! Every time skout does an update a feature disappears! Skout, bring back the buzz feature! Also, every previous image sent are now gone, I can't even use that option anymore. Skout, y'all slacking! This app was amazing when I first started using it many years ago. Skout, bring back the old features; many of us love them!

The app is trash. You can barely see any of the fake profiles and few real ones through the sea of terrible ads. It takes up like 80% of your screen, and I have a big phone. They are everywhere and reminds me of bad adult sites. Feel like I'll catch a virus. Other apps have way less ads and are better off than this horrendous excuse of an app. Just an ad machine

There's always something wrong with this app. New update version doesn't even load the persons profile I'm trying to view. Just shows a blank screen, photos don't load. This has been going on for months. Can't even message someone because their profile page won't load. This app is ridiculous. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Get rid of the new update!, Can't view anyone's profile!! This app has been trash! I've invested so much time in this app. Can't even view profile or read a message!

Application constantly crashes. Live video sounds goes in and out, constantly freezing screen, or the video just does not load. Keyboard is constantly unresponsive. Have to force stop, clear data, clear cache, and reload the application just to get it to correctly work for about 5 minutes, then repeat. Profiles do not load correctly, a lot of black sceen with just names. There are so many fake profiles. Spam in the inbox constantly. No rewards received for surveys completed.

Horrible app! Constant error notifications trying to sign on. Then switched to wi-fi and was able to get a profile, and upload pictures (which were approved immediately), and start chatting...but within half an hour I was suddenly locked out of the account. No response from Support, so I uninstall and reinstall. No dice, sure enough I get a notification that my account has been blocked. Now I cannot delete my pictures that I feel like they hijacked. Terrible experience, complete time waste. :(

I've used Skout for about a year and it's been a love/hate relationship with the app. Half the time, it works like it should without any issues. The other half, it glitches like crazy and doesn't load all the way. And the times when it glitches, I'll exit out of the app out of frustration and it'll open by itself a couple times with the page glitching like crazy again. It'll also ask for permission a lot even though I've already set the permissions for the app. Use at your own risk

The only reason I didn't give this app 1 star instead of 2 is because it really is free to meet and talk to people. The interface is not as user friendly as it could be though, and you still get search results from other states, even after you apply the filter for distance. The biggest problem, though, is the scam accounts. Ratio of fake to real profiles has to be something like 20:1 or worse, and they incessantly message you with porn site spam and catfish attempts.

Ive been using this app off and on for years and the developers need to come up with better ways to screen the fake profiles. Try verifying email addresses and other things. No way will I pay $10 a month to see more info on bots pushing porn sites and pay per view snap chats. I will say that the private messaging is still good. You can send pics and voice messages. Work on it and I will definitely rate it higher

I got blocked right after signing up. The app kept on refreshing and showing the splash screen (showing the Skout logo) but would not let me do anything else. As an app developer myself, I recognize the urgency in finding and fixing these bugs. Instead of waiting for users to send an email to your support, debug the app by trying the sign-up process yourselves. You'll see what many people are talking about. Also, please fix those account-blocking issues as well (including mine).

I've used this app many times over several years and this is, by far, the worst version ever. I just got stuck in an ENDLESS captcha loop that I apparently couldn't pass. I attempted to do the audio option since the picture captcha was obviously not working.. But tapping that returns an error. To top it off...I was then "blocked" for too many login attempts. Just save yourself the hassle and avoid it.

When it comes to the filter in the Meet section, I would very much appreciate it if the distance was accurate. I'd select "close to the city" and it would show me states from across the country. When I say "close to city" I mean close to MY city. Every time I download this app, I delete it immediately specifically because of this inaccurate feature. Your sister app, MeetMe, is more accurate than you.

Lately it's been more buggy than usual. Often when I open it, it just gets stuck attempting to log in. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall it. Developer you got any comments on this? Aside from that, the app is ok at best. Lots of scammers and bots. But also some real ppl. But there's so many different reasons why ppl use this app, it's not very likely you'll find someone who's looking for the same thing you are. Messaging is free. Location filter works ok but not when playing stack.

I can't see pictures most of the time. This has resulted in clicking "pass" on over 60 messages. When i do browse photos, sometimes they appear then disappear, then reappear. i can't use this app on any of my devices. Inside rendering is an easy task, so whatever "extra" they're attempting to do for the images doesn't work and causes them not to display. 8 different devices. Same problem.

Now There is a profile -probably a chatbot- that keeps on bothering me even after I blocked it and reported it. No way to get help. After a while this app continues to fail. No local guys. The filter in this app DOES NOT work. Even if you select people near by you only get profiles from another CONTINENT! can't upload back stage pix. Fix filter for better rating. Why would I wanna contact people from another continent. Need local friends to actually meet. If I could take the one star I would.

Very disappointed in this app. My first problem was that it put male as my gender when I'm a woman. Luckily, the support team changed it for me. I'm an introvert & joined Skout since it was recommended as being a place where you could find / make friends with people with shared interests and even book clubs. Not true! There's no way to search for people with shared interests. It only goes by location and who's currently online. Plus the user interface is very rudimentary & not easy to navigate.

The app has definitely gotten better, but I'm now experiencing NEW issues. Every time I try to open the app, it loads for a second, goes to the loading screen like I'll have to log in again, and back to the messages loading screen, and this pattern just continues on and on. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but to no avail. I will be deleting until these issues are fixed. They're literally make your app unusable 🤦‍♀️

Fairly typical, but enjoyable experience! Permissions are overly broad to get the app functional. Removed several and testing currently. The generalized location only seems to work with precise location permissions enabled. May need to check and secure webrtc for browser access. I come for, and enjoy the streams and convos, haven't sought anything of the dating aspect.
