Problematic. The app picks up every background noise as if it is a played note. Some correct notes it doesn't register. It often jumps notes if the following note is the same as the previous note. It may be my keyboard or method of input, but regardless, this app does not work at all with my setup.

problem with recognizing notes when 2 or more keys are pressed at the same time. I used another piano app and this is the worst in field of recognizing notes. I'm using a controller via usb

I signed up for a 7 day free trial that only worked for two days. I can't seem to get signed in to cancel so hopefully I won't be charged. Shame, I enjoyed the app when it did work for me.

the app is awful. used flowkey for 3 month and it was a blast. tried to use skoove for 3 month and it was a misery. no settings, annoying comments, no favs, no search, bad selection of songs, no pc support, no googleplay-for-pc support, no web app. I can continue this list forever. It is worse than flowkey in every way.

I'm returning to music after a 20 year break. I got three month free trial when I purchased my digital piano. I started at the beginning courses as I'm very rusty and left hand is very different to keyboard. The lessons are well put together and it teaches pieces that feel level appropriate but not like children pieces. There are glitches with the interface, it will crash occasionally, note recognition can be iffy but it does not then prevent you from moving on if you feel you got it correct.

This app is amazing! It makes learning songs easy, and you can switch between guided lessons or picking songs you want to learn how to play. Love it!

I am re-learning how to read music, and learning piano I think is the best way for me to do so. Skoove is pretty good so far. The only issue I have is trying to solve sign-in glitches and have it recognize my premium subscription. They are good at helping navigate this or answer any other questions.

I gave the app five stars on Apple AppStore, because I started using it on an iPhone and it was fine, but I wanted a bigger screen, so I got an Android tablet (Xiaomi Pad 5), and the app is _unusable_. First thing you notice is the animations are freezing a bit in every frame. But this is not a big deal. The worst thing is when playing with rhythm and feedback with MIDI, the app does not catch every note. It struggles even with the simplest ones, like the Ode to Joy. On iOS it was perfect...

Skoove needs work. It misses keypresses sometimes (doesn’t happen on other synth apps); topics with the female narrator are not always explained properly (such as when explaining connected notes). Sometimes the backing track disappears, yet I can still hear my piano through the tablet. At the end of a lesson you can view a static music sheet, but they turn off your piano when viewing it! I’m using a Samsung Tab S6 Lite (2022 upgraded version), plugged in by USB (C to B) to my 2023 Yamaha CK88.

I love this app and get to play my keyboard with it! I highly recommend you will learn different types of songs in different varieties very quickly and will know more than 3 songs. it's now one of my common hobbies. I recommend it to people of all ages. it only glitches a few times but does not have very many problems this is an absolute favorite

You cant use the app once you pay for it. I suggest everyone look into this BEFORE YOU BUY IT. Even if you pay for premium membership - you still have to contact the company and ask them to allow you to use it. I haven't been able to use the app all weakened because if this and I had to buy anther app for my daughter to practice. Other issues... They have limited music to learn from and you cant print anything...etc.. But the worst for me was after I bought the 1 year subscription up front - it keeps asking me to buy the premium version again. It will not allow the use of the premium features apparently unless they are directly contacted and then approve you to use the app -- you just paid for? try something else UPDATE - I did contact several support specialist and not one of them could solve this issue. One support tech told me that I didn't pay for it - even when they had the google pay order number in the email! I still could not log in and I still have not been able to use the app once I paid for it. I'm expecting a refund. Everyone who reads this should know that I tried for days to resolve this and could not. If you buy the app using google play ( google pay) you should be warned that it may (..and probably will ) be very difficult for your to use this app. I wanted to use this very very much. They offered no recourse at all. It says that " This app is available for some of your devices" .. but when I log in to the app - IT STILL ASKS ME TO UPGRADE TO PREMIUM

Love the content design, trouble with some bugs. The biggest issue is on sublessons where there's a metronome but no accompaniment. If I start playing on the note AFTER the "click" (beat 8) like it works on lessons with accompaniment, it registers tons of errors even though I'm in time. Sometimes I can trick it by starting to play ON the click but not always. I'd love that issue to stop. Also it'd be nice if it permasynced to my keyboard, but that's more an annoyance than a blocker.

I purchased the full version. There are many lessons, with many advanced lessons. I tried several other apps that lessons do not progress very far. In other apps you're left barely knowing piano or easy basic versions of pieces. This was why I chose Skoove. The app picked up my notes easily even with sound barely on. Skoove also made learning piano fun. Thanks for helping make my dream come true to learn piano.

Garbage. First of all, I received a free trial of this with a digital piano purchase, absolutely will NOT continue. Using the MIDI or sound interface it registers about 25% of my notes. Also, the audio lags behind the progress bar thus giving you wrong feedback when playing to the audio beat or music. Frustrating to say the least. Definitely will not purchase a subscription.

It's frustrating sometimes when I play the right note at full volume on my keyboard and it says It can't hear it or I played the wrong key. Then it forces you to do the practice level without the music. Sometimes it will pick up voices and mistake it for a note being played but I don't think anything can be done about that. Other than that it works perfectly fine and is easy to navigate.

From what I can tell so far, this app is really helpful when learning to play piano. However, there is one terribly frustrating feature I need to address: The app only registers half the notes I play even though they are correct. I literally have my phone laying on the speaker and it still isn't working. I feel it would be a great app if not for this.

Nice idea, but sad that it doesn't work well with midi. I can't get past setup on the app (and yes I've contacted support, the cable works just fine, I can easily connect my piano with other apps, I've reinstalled, restarted, etc). It's just glitchy. Even using the mic it keeps prompting me to setup. I had bought a subscription, but not going to renew something that doesn't work.

Problem Fixed! Songs would not load at all, so I wrote a negative review last month. That prompted a nearly instant reply from customer service to reach out, and offer to help fix it. Turned out to be a simple settings problem! Skoove now works great! Thanks so much to Shingo! Amazing customer service! Don't give up on it if you're having technical difficulties, contact them, they'll help you fix it!!

When I play for the whole length it says I didn't. My daughter tried using the app. It's faulty. I say this as a professional music educator with over 20 years of teaching experience and bachelor's and master's degrees in music education. We signed up for your paid version. Fortunately, we found out it's poor quality during the 7 day free trial. We went back to our previous piano app which works properly in assessing my daughter's rhythmic accuracy and has better music in it.

I feel like this was a great app but I ran into problems with it when I got to lesson 3 about long and short notes. It would ask you to play two D half notes, first showing you the correct timing, but when it's time for you to play, I'd hit the D note and the app would immediately speed up and go off time and then tell you that you're doing it wrong. It's a bug that shouldn't exist in an app that wants to charge me $150 a year to use, especially in such an early lesson.
