The game is fun and I paid to remove ads so not having the crashing issue like others, but every online game/adventure level costs coins to just attempt. You have to win at least 1 star to get your buy-in (over 1000) back, so you have to keep your coins just for that, let alone to use on helps. You can't even play without coins! Also, if you buy a chapter pass, you should get a frame - not have to earn all the stars, that's nearly impossible now that I've been playing for awhile!

I love playing Skipbo. I unusually play the offline mode, 2 players. I love it. I don't like the map games. After a few levels, there is no way to beat the level w/out paying more coins for more cards. But what really irritates me now is when I play the offline mode, there is an ad at the bottom of the screen, and it covers part of my cards.Clicking the x doesn't make it go away.I have clicked the stupid ad several times when trying to play my cards. The ad showed up after an update. Please fix!!

It's one of the better games. Very casual and most levels are easy to moderate. There really is no need to buy powerups unless you choose to. Ads are not that bad and can be easily closed. For the treasure hunts, ads are approx between 3 and 5, and again, it's not that bad. My only gripe, if you use your coins to purchase wilds...if you don't end up using them that level, you lose them if find this very unfair, they should carry over, seeing how levels are around 1000 to play.

Seems scammy on online mode. At first, easy wins. Then suddenly, random opponents consistently get many wilds, stock cards usable in a row, and they will set another opponent up for victory - despite there being no reward for doing so. E.g put down an 11 even if the next person's last card is a 12. But, the weird assists never happened for me. And I doubt many matches of strangers knew each other. Afterward, since losing means losing energy/coins, it wants real $. Uninstalled.

This game is very irritating. It's like the odds are stacked against you. Unless you buy coins your not going to get a head and it seems like they just want money. After most ads there is a pop up saying that if you pay for any of the packages you can get rid of the ads ( which the ads are 30 to a minute long and you have to press a bunch of X's to get out of it. They are also very touch sensitive. The price for things are high. Don't like this game

The game was cool until the ads came along, then the game turned 95% pay to win. You get barely any points without using items you've earned, but the moment you lose that round and the next round is played with acquired items, all of a sudden you're over 3 stars every rip. Flagrantly pushing the "spend money to get items and win” bs...... definitely uninstalled after that

It's a fun game, but it tells you to buy star pass or other add on to skip ads. I've bought the star pass for the last 2 chapters, and I continue to have nonstop ads. I'd think spending $12 on the game would eliminate ads, but evidently not. If there were a way to actually buy out of ads as they claim, I would give 5 stars. That hasn't happened for me yet.

This game has potential but in the end its just a scammy cash grab. The game modes are over priced and your paying to just play solitaire but not even a fair game of solitaire and the ads aren't frequent but you have to exit out of each one 3 times and I don't how many times I accidentally hit install. Like I it has potential but they need to change some stuff.

The adventure play style is a bummer and I wish it was traditional skipbo play style not random cards floating around. You almost always have to use coins to even move along and win. It feels very rigged. I play it but it isnt as good as phase 10. Which is closer to the classic. I miss the old game style that also was turn based and whenever the other friend played their turn. Less demanding and you could do other things in between

I have been playing this game for about a month and when they give you the option in the beginning of the level they sometimes ask if you want a wild skip bo card and watch an ad. That ad takes you to the play store and then when you back game has completely restarted lost everything you built up and lose coins. And same thing with the extra 4 cards at the end some ads take you to the play store so it exits you out of the game and that level is over and you have to try again.

I like it but it needs some work. I played the original that came out on Android back in the day up until it was completely shut down. I wish I could still play it but anyways this one is more "modern" per say. It is fun but I wish that the only option when playing online is 5 card stock piles. And it's only 10 offline. On the original you could go up to 30 which it made it a lot more fun. All in all this isn't a bad recreation of the original.

This version sucks. The draws are too easy, no challenge, or long games. You used to be able to play with way more skip-bo cards, like 15, 20, or 25 which made it last. The graphics used to be better, less bright and curvy and kid-like. The whole adventure part of the game is completely unnecessary. Please revert back to the original card game only. Edit: the original skip-bo is NOT the same, much fewer options, too easy to win or lose, not nearly as challenging.

The coin returns at the end of a successful round are not good. Example pay 50 coins win get 53. You've really only earned 3 coins more than what u had before. I thought it would get better the longer it went, but it doesn't. The offline is always free, but boring. You get down to one card, and the opponent magically comes back with nothing but skips and the exact cards needed to keep you from winning. Not every time, but that's why only 2 stars. The game is unfair.

It's pretty ridiculous that a computer generated random card dealing is not random... how is a computer going to generate up to 5 consecutive numbers and sometimes up to 5 skip-bos in a row?.. literally half a deck... We've been playing the actual card game for a long time and not once have more than 2 skip-bos have been dealt to a single player or more than 2 consecutive cards... It's really annoying...

Extremely poorly designed algorithm. I can go ten, even twenty full games in a row in offline mode, playing against a single opponent, and not even get close to winning once because the draws are terrible. I get random chance, but this just isn't a fun game and actually seems designed to favor your loss. So frustrating I un-installed.

Fun concept, enjoy the side games and the various level puzzles. Biggest issue with the game is winning the game only gives you +50-100 coins while the original coin amount needed is 7-10x as much. Losing multiple rounds in a row pretty much bankrupts you and halts your ability to continue without paying to reload. Coin cost to play a level needs to be lowered substantially to make this game playable.

Overall I love this game. Edit. Adding 1 star to my original review. I really wish the option to watch an ad for 4 more cards was given more often, like almost any hand often, let me choose if I wanna watch an ad or not. I'm liking the mini games offered for more coins or upgrade thingies. (That's a technical term! Lol) really loved the cats! All wish my friends & I could earn coins playing each other.

Update 2: i can't anymore. Uninstalling for good. I just want to play skip bo not that other stuff. Update: the forced game play of separate side games is causing me to lose interest in the whole game. changing my stars from 4 to 2. I like playing the actual game. I do not like that the game forces you to go through tutorials that I have no interest in. There is no option to skip. If you don't go through them you can't even play skip-bo.

It's fun and all but it seems like the winner is predetermined. If your opponent puts down 2 cards in a row gernteed they will win, and you can't just play agian right away if you don't have enough coins but you can go back to the map once every hour to get 1 more chance. At least they have an offline play option you can play all day but you don't earn any coins or anything.

Love the different playing options (with a friend, offline, and the adventure puzzles). I don't expect to win every time in the first time, but some of the adventure puzzles have taken a bit of time to complete at 3 stars. There are Ads between games/levels and for extra items (as expected with a free game), but they don't bother me.
