I wish there was a tutorial on how to use this. Where does it show where your matches are or who likes you? I'm getting notifications to check for someone who liked me and when I open the app, it has no one showing up.

broken and doesn't work as it's intended. Limits your swipes in an unpredictable way each day. some days I get 10 or 12 swipes others I get 1 or 2. Good idea behind the app but bad execution.

I like the concept. Just need to grow the community. Would be nice if the app allowed users to return to a previously viewed profile without having to immediately decide yes/no. I've seen this feature in one other app and thought it was brilliant.

Didn't know there was a limit to swiping...came across someone I wanted to meet and I "was out of swipes". Even though I hadn't tried to connect with anyone yet I was unable to with the person I was interested in.

A few things that would improve and set this apart from the others: picture uploads zoom and crop too much, a political option for libertarian ("moderate" is too subjective), the ability to skip someone without passing or liking (multiple matches will be a problem without messaging), the ability to go at least 60mi for a dating range (for us rural folk), a more standardized swiping method similar to other apps to avoid accidental swipes, the deal-breaker feature is missing...

Is this even a real app? I understand that it is supposedly still working on expanding, but everyone I have talked to says it has stalled at %82. It doesn't matter what area you live in either. It seems like it was either some kind of information collecting scam or since there are no updates from the developers anywhere to be seen they have simply abandoned it.

Can't go back to look at people. I'm 51, and I thought I had "saved"(clicked the heart-shaped symbol) a few to chat with, but then I can't figure out how to date them. Once you pass them, they are gone. I am also getting every age group as well as some younger than my child.

I think it's really simple and clean looking. But even with a large area and pretty wide range in age and other options, there aren't any people on it, I think I swiped 15 people and now I have to wait until more download the app. App is cool tho.

Ugh. This app is fundamentally flawed because it doesn't permit upfront filtering by features like education, etc. If you're a straight woman you're presented with the kind of variety of men you might encounter if you spent 4 hours at Home Depot. Which is really not an enticing prospect for women looking for values and social compatibility. If I wanted Tinder so I can swipe just on photos, I'd join Tinder. Also, good luck figuring out how to reject profiles. "Swipe up" does NOT work.

I live in the Chicago area, the matches I had, maybe a dozen, all looked like they were found on skid row. After I noped out of those, I had maybe 2 or 3 normal seeming guys presented to me. Everytime I open the app I get a message that Skip is still growing.

If I could give this zero stars I would. It's been 8 months since I created my profile and they're still trying to develop this app. It says 87% finished.... but has been like that for months. Do not waste your time on this app. It obviously was poorly thought out on their launch for this app. You cannot even see anyone's profile that's already on there. I continued to email asking if I can move my location, nope I cannot. I asked if I can just see the 87% that's available and ready, nope. Dumb.

Wasted my time with this app. I was excited to try it when the launch was happening, but nope... small town = unusable. I can't even find matches because this app is unavailable in my area. If you're in a rural area/small town, DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Otherwise, you'll waste your time.

I was very hopeful about this app, but even though it is working in my area, I haven't connected with anyone yet. I'm willing to keep giving it a shot because I think the concept is good, but the app hasn't been working for the last few days. When you click on it, the first screen with the logo pops up, but then immediately shuts down. Is there going to be any attempt to fix this, or is this the end of Skip?

If you like a profile you swipe left to view more. If you don't like it, you swipe up to reject; unless you've first swiped left, in which case by swiping up you'll view the full profile. The problem? The up swipe/scroll is not a 1-to-1 function: it does different things depending on whether you've swiped left first. In a digital world where swiping left has become synonym of rejection, and scrolling up/down is constantly done w/ news and social media, Skip comes as highly counterintuitive.

1/9/2024: Really looked forward to using this app! I like the concept but won't let me log in with my number. I click "next" and nothing happens. I uninstalled and installed the app a few times and still doesn't work for me. Update (1/11/2024): I reached out to customer service and was able to get the app working. Scott, was very helpful! Giving 3 stars for now since the profiles have r launched yet. Looking forward to seeing how this app works!

2/25 I was excited to use this app and wanted to like it however when I first created my profile I had to wait 2 weeks for the app to launch. Then when it did I wasn't able to see any profiles due to there being only 13% in my area!?!? I have my location set for the max at 100 and even still can't see any profiles. I have kept checking with no success after iver a month now. Worthless app and would not recommend downloading because you won't get to even use the app.

twice, in 10 months, I've received a match. I was happy to FINALLY get a match, but twice somehow the match got swiped away without me meaning to. is there any way to get them back? the most recent one happened today.

agree with other reviews that are saying this app needs to switch to the left/reject right/accept format. also I'm brand new to the app and I rejected three people and then it said I was already out of swipes to ensure thoughtful swiping but I didn't even accept anybody? i already dislike this app

I can't find the deal-breakers. The photos zoom and crop too much. No option to contact technical support on the app. If you are going to match without messaging you need much more than just six interests and at least 500 characters for the profile prompts. Should be more than four profile prompts. I'm not going to meet with someone because we both like movies and the beach
