This is an ok version of Battleships, but having "power-ups" you can buy, which allows you to fire barrages, spoils the game for me. I played a game where my opponent had cleared half the board and I'd only picked 5 squares.

At first, I thought I was playing real players. Then I realized I'm playing a bot. I win 99.9% of the time. The times I lose, the bot knows where every ship is, and I get creamed. You can shrink the screen and come back 4 hours later, and the bot is right there like you never left. A real player would never stick around. Avatar and players' names change gender randomly, as do their armaments. No real players would do that. There's more. It's a bot. But it's a fun way to kill time.

I love the animation, sound effects, and explosions. It's fun. It's great that you can use coins earned to buy special bombs and that you can't use them all at once which makes it more fair, game to play longer and more exciting. Just wanted the option to choose to play with a friend.

I don't mind the animation from one board to the other, but it's 2021 and there shouldn't be such a pronounced lag when transitioning between the two boards. Other than that, I really wish you offered online multiplayer. I also wish you could play in "pure" mode.. no power ups for either player.

Either the CPU or players straight up cheating. No doubt about it. When every single solitary shot from the opponents hit singularly or multiple hits EVERY time. I miss 10 -15 times, they NEVER miss. But then toy with you when the last shot is glaringly obvious. Cheaters and unsportsmanlike conduct from the developer/creators, give a 1 star rating.

Too many Ships, It shouls be like just 4 ships, then only we can play in a short time. Doing just click for a long time make us very bored. Make the board little closer. Also you can ask the user to choose how many ships for a game at the loading of each game. Based on response you can make a match but my preference will be 4 to 5 ships with different features. Like reveal the nearby cells, multiple attacks based on the ship size, the ship get attacked then the reveal full ship.

Love this app. The developer is so awesome explaining questions we all ask, before we ask, in a chill laymens vocabulary. Sound effects, navigation, and all the free perks are delightful. Easy and harder versions in the app for us battleship Competion peep. Did I mention, way few ads and pop ups are on another page to tap and skip. Brilliant developers. 5 stars. Definitely recommend.🤩

So i love the game truly, the 4 stars comes from some small things honestly. First, just go ahead and hit "Double Coins" after a win, you'll have to watch an AD regardless, so make it worth it, right? Secondly maybe add like a Quick Talk option in battle, like click your portrait and just a quick "hello" "good shot" "so close' ect ect, you know to make the battle a little more engaging. Last, maybe add some events where unique ships or portraits can be a prize but gives people a way to compete

I think this a fun easy to learn game that's perfect for short breaks. I've got a brand new samsung galaxy S24+, now the game crashes on me 7 out of 10 times. I may have to try reinstalling.

Would have given it 5 stars except for the latest update has ads that are a pain.

I really liked this game and I didn't mind the ads at the bottom . However, the new ads that cover the controls and knock me out of the game make me want to uninstall it

Very simple and straightforward game. Does exactly what it says. The micro transactions are a bit expensive, as you can quite easily just win a few games to get the coins. Ads not a problem at all, as you hardly get any other than the optional one to double coins at the end of the game. This is a good Solon game and an enjoyable time killer.

Like the offline option, ads popping up not intrusive, enjoyable

Love this game but I hate the new ads. They pop up and block the game. It's annoying.

A little glitch when switching between players. If they fix that it would be great. I would like to see the opponents location when I lose, to see where they were.

Well, I played it for two more days before I decided to give up. You ruined an absolutely wonderful game. Now that you got ads popping up in the middle of it all the time, I counted it five times during one game it wasn't on my board it was on the next board, so it's no longer any fun . So I am now uninstalling it, I'm looking for a new game to play. I played because I want to relax. Frustration is not relaxing.

Constant ads right in middle of game. These cause you to lose your train of thought and thus lose the game. I liked it much better, and actually watched, when ads were before or after a game.

Great game, but annoying advertisement format. They pop up at the most annoying time, e.g. when it is your turn and you are planning your move. Sometimes it causes you to miss your turn as time runs out and your turn is executed automatically.

Easy and addictive. Only problem I have is if you decide to play using 0 to 3 special attacks the game should pair you up with someone using the exact same special attack. Not pair one player using a 3 shot special attack vs a player using an atomic bomb attack. I understand the more powerful the attack the more turns you have to wait. Just seems a fairer way to play. Also it'd be nice if win loss stats were tracked along with accuracy and other categories. Other games of this type do it.

New update includes incredibly intrusive ads that take up the bottom 3rd of the screen, covering your special weapons and some of the play area of the map. I think the game takes user names and then let's you play against the "computer" using the random user names it finds. I've fought against players searching for my biggest ship when no other open tiles could possibly fit it, and it's my last ship, and the "computer" selects some open individual tiles when I have no individual tile ships left.
