A little buggy but overall a fun little time sink. Gives you the feeling of accomplishment you seek from mmo type games, while also providing microtransactions that are mostly cosmetic. Very much /not/ a pay to win game. The only gripe I have is its a bit sluggish; things don't update in real time, for instance when adding stat points you have to refresh after a couple minutes before you see any change. I can understand this though considering it's a server-side game. Overall fantastic game.

It could be pretty entertaining at first, but I felt that there's not enough features to explore, can't complain much for a completely free game though. Pressing one button repeatedly did ended up getting very boring for me, but for anyone that love to read unexpected and fun messages/steps, this is definitely an amazing game, it has some very random dev journal entries that are pretty entertaining to read, but sadly, I could sit tight to read them🤣

Dude, y'all are hilarious. The constant nerd culture references are clever, witty, and keep things fresh and interesting, for sure. I love the market(s) and town system; super easy to navigate, for the most part. The almost constant need to go back and re equip new and better armor is a little taxing, but, what a good problem to have, right? I'm making MONEY in this game, selling everything I find, has paid off well so far. So the upgrades are easily affordable. Thanks for a great game

My expectations were low and it still failed to meet them. It's just a clumsy grind experience, essentially an idle game with an obfuscating UI. The tutorial glitched out after literally the first screen, most of the visual of the game interface is taken up by bait to get you to watch more ads, and every thing is time gated, every single possible thing, it's insane and grotesque. The only reason this gets two stars is that it didn't crash anything and they let me delete my account transparently.

Interesting concept! Simple game where you take 1 step at a time, with random encounters, and even random text in each room. Super quirky - even players can submit travel text. Tons to collect/ do, can easily keep you clicking for the next room. FEEDBACK: Now I know you don't taste Taco Bell bad because it doesn't have burgers, but it would be cool to have some sort of dungeon- type concept, or other arcs that had some relation. But, if that's out of design scope, that's fine, too.

Really cute little game. Its pretty simple to figure out, although a small tutorial in the beginning would help new players find things easier. It's got some great development, the travel blogs are hilarious most of the time- I hope you guys add more. The icons are really cute and remind me of my old NES days (Crystalis guys!!). The only reason it's not 5 is because of trying to navigate and no notifications once you hit a level to unlock a new part of the game.

Fantastic game, a great thing to both waste time on and get absorbed into at the same time. The quips while traveling are my favorite part, can't get enough of them. The levels come quickly so there's virtually no grind, and you're always upgrading gear or finding collectables. Plenty to do for such a simple game, kudos to the devs! Oh, and the ability to cross-play between the phone app and the browser app? Way to keep a guy playing, lol.

Worth the download! Fun to play while studying or to kill time. I wish I could attack more mobs rather than leaving it up to chance. They do have tiered battles (PvP and PvE) that allow you to generate enemies, however, it uses up energy that is slow to regenerate. Still a lot of fun and the text in between steps are kinda funny to read. Developers seem very attentive to their game as well 😗🤌

Interesting game for about a day of play, before you start getting repeat text upon repeat text. Progression is slow and equipment is too expensive to get right out of the gate, plus the wait time to move to the next scene is too long for me. Some features were level-locked, and I wasn't feeling the game, so I never got to try it all out. Not for me, but seems like an okay game to turn your brain off for.

Fun little time waster. I am sure it gets deeper as you play, and the tutorial is alright in giving you the bare bones mechanics. Some parts of the game aren't explained well (such as collections), but nothing game breaking that detracts from the game. Part of the fun is just figuring stuff out, and it would be ruined if a tutorial came up every two seconds for what is a pretty laid back game.

I'm only level 18 and I'm sure have only experienced a fraction of the game but it's great. Simple concept, beautifully executed. I absolutely adore the travel texts and truly hope the dev(s) continue to implement more - they are hilarious, witty, adventurous and more. I have not come across anything I see as a drawback yet. Definitely worth a go!

When I first got SimpleMMO I uninstalled it. But I reinstalled it and this game is so fun! It is easy to understand, and leveling up is fairly easy. While you are not able to really see new places, you can see text, and basically imagine how the world is. You can travel to different towns with different music. The game does get a little bit repetitive, but other than that it is super fun! Overall SimpleMMO is a good game to kill some time, and easy to understand. Recommend to the reader!!!

No false advertising here. It is a masterpiece of simplicity. You can still min/max, role-play, and customize. But this game embraces the reality of the grind in a unique way. Why complicate the annoying part? Click a button, read some text (or not), do it again. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because of the lack of quality in the interface. There are numerous app state bugs that require constant page refreshes. Overall though I highly recommend this game.

It's ok but has potential. The basic character information should always be on the screen when travelling (health, experience, level, etc.) Instead of having to click to get there. Also, the balance is off and there's way too much travelling without an event such as a battle, resource gathering or the sort. Looking forward to seeing this evolve.

The name's right on the tin. It's fun in its own odd way, with its simple gameplay and living economy. It could use an overhaul for its text blurbs that pop up while traveling (one of the main points of the game), as some of them have glaring grammatical/spelling issues. Even then, the living, breathing economy driven by the players is a nice change of pace.

This game is very simple, has a friendly UI, has a solid concept, and is easy to progress through. However, there is no excitement. I've been playing for a couple of weeks now and it's gotten very repetitive - predictable, if you will. The only reason I still open the game is because it's satisfying to progress. I don't know the first thing about creating games, but I do know that there's a way to uphold the original idea as well as implement more stimulating features.

The game is surprisingly filled with lots to do and even as an afk earning function. When adventuring, there's some entertaining quips, and lots of rewards to find. However, the problem I have is the combat. I fight weak little enemies sometimes with an attack stat of 1, and I take 16 damage from one attack. Along with that, I take no damage from an enemy with an attack stat of 7! It's a good game, but the combat is too random. I recommend this game.

it's a good time waster and no ads. (Edit) I think this game could earn 5 stars if the menu and HUD was easier to navigate. Also add some UI to show my job and energy points so I don't have to guess. make it easier to tell what stuff I can dump and what cannot be dumped. Player market is kinda crazy and has no real economy it seems.

Game is as labeled, very simple. There is a bit more to do than you might think, regardless of the one button gameplay, as such can become a nice time waster to play. I think this game is best played, say, when doing something else... like watching a movie or waiting for something. This game is definitely a grind and not suitable for those looking a fully fleshed out mmo. In my opinion, a casual and fun experience with the option to go a little in-depth if you decide to i.e subcription model

I really enjoy the art style, the interface, and the interaction with the world and the other players. While it may be very different from other MMOs I've played, this one is still fun and gives me a chance to level up my skills even when I can't play on a PC or spend a whole lot of time in a more immersive, typical 3D MMO. Plus, there are plenty of ways to immerse even in this text based game, such as the player markets and pvp!
