I really like this File Explore. It serves its purpose and it does so excellently. I think thaty I have found one more app to add to my list of apps to make sure I download on every device I aquire in the future. I will recomment this application to my friends.

Well, I just downloaded a new file manager just to see data folder in android, & this app doesn't help.

BEWARE! Suddenly, this app was installed on my phone. Being the only one with access to it, no one else downloaded it nor had I. Something fishy with this app. Beware!

Works quickly & intuitively, and like all SMT apps, with few permissions and no ads. Small footprint. I particularly like that you can do some file operations without changing the file date. The reason I don't yet use it as my default file manager is that it doesn't show the file date or folder date in lists.

Gives me nullpointer exceptions and other errors when trying to copy to USB drive. Same drive works fine with e.g. Files (by Google)

I want to be able to easily browse through my files and folders like I were on my computer. For that this app does exactly what I want and need.

Used to be great, now it has so many ads that it even slows the app down. I don't mind paying for apps. But I am not paying monthly just for a file manager..

Fantastic App. Simple, straight, beautiful, very much user friendly .......like so many others have said, it is simply good. Pray that this app is left as it is by the creators.

The app is good and it function well. Although, it doesn't display files when I open the app sometimes but closing it and reopen it again solve the problem.

Simple and easy to use. And the best part is that it doesn't limits what you can do with your files, unlike Google Photos. Plus, it doesn't pops up an ad every time you tap anything.

Simple file manager says what it says it says it's a simple file manager and it is it works wonders on those files and has a hefty duty tagging system that runs great you should buy it you should really really buy it because if you buy it it really works 100% better try before you buy these people know what they're doing when they wrote this program okay ๐RSD๐PayPal

I liked this file manager, too bad last update changed it to trial mode and tried blackmailing me to pay to use it. I decided to uninstall it bc there are better file managers that are free. Reply: The problem I've been using the free version and never signed up for any trial. Out of the blue, I get a notice that trial period expired and have to pay. That's underhanded and will not be tolerated! Am considerating dumping the rest of your apps, including the ones I paid for, because of this.

There is no categorization of files and no way to do it manually. You can't look for "audio" files or search in "documents" "video" or "downloads". If the stock file manager does this why can't this? If you don't know the name of the file you want it's far from 'Simple' to find it. Huge disappointment. Using the Pro version on Samsung Note 20 ultra.

I originally DLed bc this app said "simple" and I didn't want a bloated file manager... But they took simple to the extreme so it's way too limited imo (especially if you don't pay). You can't cut, copy, or paste files. No grid view. Antequated "search" function. Ongoing thumbnail glitch. Can't view files or swipe to view them successively. No custom settings like color options. Etc, etc. Uninstalled for a more user-friendly file manager that meets my needs.

Please fix the refresh icon issue. Other file explorers apps doesn't do this. Long pressing or short pressing on a file or folder it should not appear. Annoying at times. Unless you physically swipe down like in other browser and apps when refreshing pages then it should appear. I really wish the developer would listen and fix it. Would gladly rate 5 and rereview it when it improves. Really like the UI though. Unfortunately I'm going to have to uninstall it.

This file explorer is okay but too basic. Both video and picture files look the same. Normally videos would have some play button icon on it or something. Also files and folder look similar and there seems to be no way to make the icons bigger. I like the color customization of the app but I need a better file explorer and I don't think the pro version would have the features that I expect.

A fantastic and simple file manager, but ruined by a new update. The change to paid I don't mind, but removing the older version with the more functional UI has made it annoying to use. Where before it displayed a large number of items on screen at once, I'm now needing to scroll just to see the enlarged folders and icons. Previously quick to navigate it is now clunky and slow, requiring more actions to do the same things. If you can look past this you'll find a great app, but it's a step down.

This app is great! I've used it for years - does exactly what I want. It's quick to transfer files from Internal to SD card storage and easy to change file names. Multiple 'sort by' and you can configure it to open in whatever folder you want and have different folders automatically open in different 'sort by'. I wish I could install this twice so I could see the files on Internal at the same time as SD card storage. It really is an awesome app!
