Great App overall. However there is a problem with notifications. None of the event reminders are working. Not the preset ones like "4 hours before" or custom. The custom ones also don't say "before". They just say for example "1 day". So I think there needs to be a whole new function with reminders and notifications. As I think past updates tried to fix this.

I would rate this app a 10 if possible. I never had any problems forgetting an appointment/special event. Easy to use, sets in with time clock reminders. Don't need to change phone settings which is a plus. Easy instructions to follow. Best not to change anything. As for a free service, this couldn't be any better. I have tried other apps, hard to figure out or bad instructions. Thanks team, Please keep up with this simple easy to use app.

I loved this app. It was great - super simple, no annoying ads, and I could customize all the colors to keep things organized. Then, it just disappeared one day, taking my schedule with it. The app closed, the icon on my home screen was gone, and the only option under my app list in the settings was to uninstall. It was just what I wanted, but I have to give it one star, since I can't use it. I could reinstall, but I don't trust it now and write everything in a physical planner instead.

Updated 2/22/23: I don't know what I had to pay for. I don't want additional, new, or changing features. If you want to have an income, isn't it reasonable to work at something different instead of claiming you did something wonderful to your past accomplishments? You lost a star for this. Original review: The old, offline version is awesome! Some of us don't want our personal business going to the Chi-Com "cloud". Exports and imports of events to new devices is easy. It's everything I need.

The calendar app itself is very good. It helped me a lot and made things easier to keep track of and plan. It was super convenient for me. With that said, however, the "free" calendar is a lie. After months of use, it forces you to buy an upgrade and you cannot view/access anything until you pay; essentially holding everything imputed in the calendar app hostage. There's an option to export files out to avoid losing information, but it doesn't export everything out. Forced to buy or lose info π€¬

Basic, straightforward, intuitive. Calendar & reminders work reliably. No bugs. I don't want to message or collaborate from my calendar, I just want to track my appointments and be reminded when they come up. That's what this does free, without ads, and without unneeded permissions that make you wonder what it's doing with your privacy. Perfect for me.

Find it despicable. Locking ppl out of an app that comes pre-installed. After saving everything to this calendar, you can't access unless you buy the 'new' one. Set up to give no choice, except to switch to their "pro-version". (Complete lemon) Then there's the responses from the developer. Always the same thing over and over. Slight variations but, "oh come on, not too much, can get full refund (in 2 hours)or refund anytime"(yeah sure). Disgusting,. Used car salesman, more trustworthy.

Hated the google calendar's interface so i tried this one. It was everything I wanted for a year or so. Super great! Loved it! Perfect app. Now they're forcing everyone into paying for the "pro" version that doesnt actually improve anything but adds a ton of features you will never need. There is not option to stick with a free "basic version", even with ads. You pay for an unwanted upgrade or you lose your calendar. Those are your options. No guarantee they wont try this again either.

I have used the free version of this app for awhile now and I loved it. Then I was forced to upgrade to pro for a 14 day free trial before being charged. When that happened it screwed up a lot of my events. Added back deleted events, doubled existing events. So disappointing. I was willing to give this a go for paid, but these issues just proves it's not worth it to me. Disappointing their changing a good, free app for a buggy, paid app.

I just upgraded and lost everything. I exported, and all looked fine. Then it all disappeared. I tried two more times to export, and everything is gone. I am so upset! For my needs, it was fine before. This is a catastrophe. UPDATE: I just downloaded Google Calendar, which was free. Without my asking, it added all the exported information from this so-called "Simple" Calendar that I was unable to retrieve.

-Stars if I could! This is awful! The free version was fine - loved it. It kept track of all of my medical appointments just fine. But then it's suddenly blocked without warning! I can't see anything! It's TELLING me to upgrade to the Pro version- holding my information for a ransom of $1.29! Well- I need to see my appointments so I unhappily upgrade to Pro. But all of my info gets lost! Nothing got imported to Pro. So I deleted it within 10 minutes! But NO REFUND AS PROMISED!

Do not download. Very deceiving. I had been using the app for free for 2 years, and now, in order to see any of my important saved calendar events, they're forcing me to upgrade to the 'pro' version without any 'free' option. This causes major issues in my scheduling and can't retrieve any of my data to migrate to another app. Based on the reviews, nobody likes what you've done to them.

App was actually great and very convenient to use compared to other Calender Apps. However, all of a sudden, after years of use, it decided to tell me I've been using it as a free trial, and I'm now locked out of my calendar unless I pay. I would had happily paid if they asked, or offered special features for paying. However, they chose to keep my stuff/schedule as hostage, until I pay. I hope they reverse this decision, and continue keeping the app free.

I never write reviews. But after downloading 7+ calendar apps this one is by far the best. It is easy to use, easy to customize. You can sync data with google, edit the colors of the app, icon, and events without the 600 million different overwhelming options when adding an event like the other calendar apps. Its wonderful. GREAT JOB! LOVE IT!

App just updated and is forcing all previous user to pay for premium, holding all their calendar info hostage by putting it behind a pay-wall. Only response from the dev is that the pro version is worth it... but it's not the pro version, it's just the app, there is no free version, and the whole point of the app is that it's just a simple calendar. I don't need "great features" I just want to use a calendar that doesn't just randomly lock me out of all the things I've scheduled out of the blue.

Used as a free app for a couple of years. Did exactly what I needed. Then had to pay for upgrade to premium version. Very little difference, no features I really needed. But now although 3X times changed settings to specify my default Alarm sound, it defaults to the Notification sound. Even powered completely down after changing & restarted phone. This means that I'm not alerted to a calendar event. I think it's just a text coming in. This is is making the app virtually useless to me.

App updated to a paid version without notice. If you select "later" on the update screen it closes the app. The developers also give the same formula response to everyone complaining about the change without actually addressing their frustrations. I used this app BECAUSE it didn't have a lot of features and was very straightforward. If I wanted features (for free) I'd use Google Calendar.

Love the calendar app on my android phone it doesn't require Gmail calendar to be attached it's basic/more simple for me personally. On my android tablet though while it's the same the advertisements are super annoying when adding events or texts on the calendar app I can barely skip them. I don't deal with those ads though on my phone for some reason.

It originally said there would be a one-time payment of 2.99 after the free trial. I thought I'd gladly pay that so I continued to use it. When the trial was up I was given the option to buy not for the single payment of 2.99 but for $15/week! The app itself is exactly what I want over other calendars I've tried. And I would pay for adless, but over $2/day is insane. Banner ads would be tolerable but it has video ads when opening the app and adding an event. Wish I'd read the reviews.

This app was decent. It lacked a few features but the notifications worked and the ads weren't intrusive so I kept it. Now, after a year of using it, I was granted a 14 day free trial, after which the app becomes useless unless I pay the subscription fee. At first the fee was $2.99, but looking at reviews and the app details, the price can be up to $99.99. I get devs need to make money but this change is unacceptable and much too expensive. Switched to another free app with more functionality.
