Purchased an esim online so it would be ready upon my arrival to Athens. Scanned the qr code upon arrival to set it up and had no service whatsoever. I may have been able to make calls, l didn't check as l had only purchased the sim for data. Ended up buying another sim card at the airport. Complete waste of money.

As a first-time eSim user, I found the whole purchase, download, installation process to be very straightforward and fast. My only negative comment would be relating to the activation process which seemed to demand entirely too much information and took longer than all the other steps combined.

I had good experience with their customer service. They are very responsive to my questions and requests. I'm pretty surprised as mail-based support is usually very bureaucratic and takes a long time. Thank you. I'll definitely buy SimOptions again for my travel.

I got the 30g esim for Europe. Easy to setup. My only issue was it took time turn on data when I landed at another countries airport. It would be good if it had 5G service too.

I just used it for 5 days in Malta. I had 5G coverage on all 3 islands and even used it to stream music through Spotify. I'll definitely use this service again on my next international trip.

Update... it didnt work. Despite being told the data is being used i have been unable to access any internet, no google maps, no google translate either. Emailed, no help, just told the data is being used. Went into Vodafone in Barcelona, they couldnt help. I bought a new esim directly from Vodafone. Just landed and saw someone on my home region recommend this app on a local group, Id been exploring esims but was a little overwhelmed, this was so easy and convenient, I'll always use it.

Horrible experience, I bought 7 days card for South Africa , after 3 days it stopped working Customer service is useless They requested multiple screen shots ,never really trying to fix the problem , it was provided to them, but nothing was done,Just delay , completely unprofessional people They tried to take so much time for $2 issue Unbelievable Worst service that I ever had

The service has worked well only complaint is when you need to activate with a qr code and you need to open the computer to read it with the phone (the alternative activation code could not be read). Besides that a good service.

I bought an esim on the website for calls and data. The purchase process was easy and I liked that I could use Google Pay as a payment option since my bankcard sometimes doesn't work. I received a qr code in my email and, fortunately, I had another device I could use to take a picture of the qr code to scan on my phone on which I was going to use the esim. I have been able to make both calls and use data. Unfortunately, I have not been unable to make an account to track my usage.

Just signed up for a $30 sim and they gave me a promo for another free esim upto $10. I used the coupon on the website and it accepted the offer but charged me $10. I havent used the sim and they wont give me a refund. What a scam.

Very poor experience here. Was offered a free esim if I gave them a google store rating and downloaded the app. I did this only to be told that free esim coupons were no longer available. If you buy an esim in their store via the webpage it will not show up in the app. Sim card prices are higher in the app than in their online store. Bottomline - don't bother with the app. Yet to see if my purchased esim card works but do not have high hopes with this crooked mob.

If you phone supports e-sim, you never have to worry about ordering a sim card while travelling internationally. I ordered my sim on simoptions, and I got a really good discount, the esim was delivered instantly on my mail and my experience with it was also amazing. Totally Recommended. PS: buy the sim from simoptions website, not app. app is much more expensive.
