This game has a super awesome idea, but not great execution. 6 min story chunks are terrible for immersion. The "endure" sections are always a mix of the same 4 or 5 rooms. The rewards.. So many times you will see the popup, but it isn't actually ready. The worst part is, when a reward is ready, half the time, at the very least, you WILL NOT actually receive the reward. So many stickers and emojis and character customization options have just disappeared after claiming them from the box.

Mostly pointless puzzles combined with a poorly animated short story that requires all other viewers of a daily live stream to VOTE on the outcome of that show. This is the game. It is rather straightforward and one dimensional, which is disappointing considering the many different ways this "game" could have been made. The game is simply a co-op viewership with low quality effects, like a mid 90's video game, at best quality graphics (on a gaming phone). The story isn't very good either.

The storyline is a little hard to get into in 5/10 minute chunks but watching the first full episode it comes together much nicer. I wish they wouldn't list which choices lead to what path because it leads people to not choose what is right in the moment. It's a mini story you can watch for free with decent intreage what more were people expecting? it's a weird experience if you just take it for what it is I think it's worth keeping an eye on. you can tell a lot of work went into it.

About the dumbest thing I've ever downloaded. It's just a movie with thousands of players tapping choices. There's an avatar that you can buy things for that has nothing to do with the "game". The videos are decent production value but the content is extremely difficult to follow. Story is cut up all over the place. Zero continuity. It's like watching small clips of random Silent Hill themed things with zero context given. The menus are too tiny. Waste of the IP.

Honestly, the concept of a horror show where you, the audience, get to decide what happens sounds amazing on paper. Unfortunately, there are the subpar games and micro transactions needed to actually be able to make the choices. The storyline is all over the place and honestly not interesting enough to even want to understand, and it's not worth trying to watch every night to understand when you can't even vote on a choice due to lack of points. Don't waste your time, just wait for it on YouTube

I was excited to see a new Silent Hill game, but this is more like an audience participation story. It's a neat concept, but the execution is meh. Everyday you watch a few short clips to progress the story, and then play mini games for Influencer Points (IP). The IP is used to vote for decisions that affect the story route. It's kind of cool to see choices have impact, but the mini games are pretty hit or miss, some of them being not fun or unplayable due to glitches. At least the story is good.

Image was so dark I couldn't make anything out. Once it hit 9pm, I expected my black screen to fade to video, but the chat was responding as if action was happening and I realized my video was not loading. I was able to join again after restarting the app, but my character creation was lost upon login. Missed the first 5 minutes or so because of no video, so I had no idea what was going on. QTE video didn't load, but prompts did. Very scuffed app. Please add a gamma/brightness option at least.

Many people have already addressed a lot of the big issues, so I'll add a few I haven't seen brought up as much: - The visuals are so dark you can't see what's going on half the time - The rhythm game thing at the end of each episode is weird and out of context, no reason is given for why the characters find themselves in the situations they do making it hard to care. - THEY TELL YOU WHICH CHOICE IS GOOD/NEUTRAL/BAD. This obviously skews how people vote and defeats the point of making choices.

This isn't even really a game. It's a service that offers very little outside of what could have been done with such an idea. The attempt to be free and monetize on the backend entirely compromised the presentation of the product, with no added value This could have been a budget cinematic adventure title and would have been better off for it. The promise, the premise, and the brand were all squandered over poor planning and execution. Goosebumps did this concept better with 120 pages.

I was expecting a choose your adventure but it is a crowd vote by money. I have not had a live vote event but considering the starting credits and the daily login credits it would take some money. For being so simple the app is horrible. First time opening had no clue what was going on then suddenly a tutorial pops up on page 3. You have to go home before closing to save watch history. Notification bar will show up and require a restart to go away. First ep is so confusing I'm not interested.

Confusing navigation. Not very interactive, long pre-recorded video segments don't stop for player input. Action sequences are engaging and interesting, but player input during this scene was overly challenging and had no on-screen effect. Minigames are repetitive and disjointed from the plot. Not bought into this new "interactive media" concept for gaming...

As a mostly visual experience with some interactivity, it's unfortunate that it isn't available via traditional streaming devices, like Roku. I either have to watch it on the small screen of my phone or computer screen. This experience is not set up well for TV viewing and interaction. There needs to be an alternative way to experience this on a TV without the need to try and stream your phone screen to it. This should work natively for a TV viewing experience. I'd rather just play Silent Hill.

Really did try to give this a shot, but like others have mentioned, the story is incredibly disjointed. Back-to-back scenes often don't make any sense, as if there was no consideration for the previous "choices" and how they could affect the next scenes, resulting in character interactions that just don't flow. If I had to compliment anything, there are a few monster designs that feel like they could belong in the SH universe, but that's all I got :(

This is so confusing and bad. I don't even know where to start. It's basically a TV show you vote on with the community, which is a unique idea, but could not have been more poorly executed. Chat constantly spamming slurs, the first few seconds into the "game" and the UI is TERRIBLE and there was another video of the devs arguing about in-game purchases on top of the actual video. And of course it has a battle pass lmao. The show looks visually pretty bad as well. Overall disappointing...

Wanted to like it and it's still early but this product wasn't tested prior to release. So many bugs. It doesn't help that the episodes so far seem repetitive and unoriginal. Not to mention running in daily to see a ten minute clip of some fan art themed 2004 graphics. It's just thrown together. The metrics make no sense, the avatar is useless, voting doesn't appear to have an impact on the next days video. Just wait and watch later on YouTube.

What a waste. This could have been something like The Dark Pictures anthology, but no, it's just... boring. The story is very poorly setup, the characters have given no reason to care about them, the voice acting is not good, and the animations are extremely stiff and lifeless. The lipsyncing didn't turn out very well either. The final offense is that this is monetized with microtransactions that can literally influence the "show". This SUCKS.

I was looking forward to it, but it was a huge let down. Puzzles aren't story oriented, plots aren't making sense, players aren't taking it seriously, votes are heavily swayed and the character customization/gift options are comical for such a serious game. It's hard to actually enjoy it. It probably would be better as a show series instead of a community driven game or as a choose your own adventure like the Play Novel. The idea was there and it was great, but poorly executed.

Very innovative, they found a way to make Twitch plays silent Hill pay to win. Real talk, I know it's not finished, but I couldn't make it through the first 15 minutes. The animation is stilted, the environments are uninspired, and the sound mixing is awful, none of which should be a problem for something completely pre-recorded and pre-rendered. The daily puzzles are laughably barebones. It's not a good game and it's not a good show. It's just bad.

A real disappointment. SH:A is a great concept, poorly executed. It is an interactive movie that is gradually released alongside a splashing of mini-games that can be played for some rewards. Unfortunately, for a cinematic experience, the dialogue of the characters is bizarrely jarring and unbelievable, which means I cannot suspend my disbelief. You would think that for a game so lacking in technical features, it would be smooth sailing, but somehow there are a plethora of bugs!

It started out pretty good. Multiple interesting stories, and the choices felt impactful. The story seems to have lost a lot of direction. I've heard rumors that the story is written by ai, and I can see why people would think that. I'm only invested because it is Silent Hill, and I want to know how the story ends. Recently ads were put into the game, and you have to watch one to get to the story video you are trying to watch. There is even a daily goal to watch 5 ads.
