Overall, I like using the app and getting the data. Things I don't like: 1. Shut down randomly about 25% of the times I have used it over the last several weeks 2. Wish sounds would play all night and not just for 120 minutes 3. The alarm clock does not work properly. I am putting in 615, but it does not go off until 715. Outside of setting the alarm an hour earlier or using a different alarm, I have not figured out how to fix that.

I've been having trouble sleeping lately and decided to download a sleep tracker. Overall, it's helping. I like the different sounds you can play to help you sleep, I usually choose rain. Definitely helps me fall asleep faster with those sounds, but the thing that is a little frustrating is that I can't listen to my audios from the night before and access all sounds without having to pay for them. Besides having to pay to listen to my audios and the sounds, ShutEye is overall a decent app.

My subscription for another snore tracking app was expiring so I bit only a limited time offer for this app. I compared the two for several days. This app said i didn't snore while my other app recorded some shooting which i could hear on the playback. If this app can't even recognize that I am scoring, there is no way it can be effective. I only used it for a few days yet I am stuck with a year's subscription. The email only customer service was no help.

I paid for the subscription because I needed something to track my sleep for medical reasons and it worked great I've had it for 4 months now... UNTIL THIS LAST UPDATE. now it not only randomly cut off in the middle of the night, but when it does stay on it doesn't track my sleep, and for some reason it also had next month Update: I reached out multiple times and no one has gotten back to me it's been 2 months.. Do not recommend!!

What kind of 7-day trial charges you at the very first day and even without an account. registered? The worst part is that I tracked for a day and I have already noticed huge differences. For audio other streaming services is good enough the sleep tracking is not accurate at all, the sound category are also incorrect. I have canceled my trial in the second day of the trial, but I am already charged for a full year. I need my refund!

It's really pretty good at showing when you snore. A lot of other things it tells you, however, are not correct. It said, footsteps and talking in sleep, when those sounds were OUTSIDE my room. It said bruxism, but it was a breathing sound, not teeth grinding. It did show the BIG difference between when I'm using my CPAP and when I'm not. So, pretty good app, not perfect.

I just recently installed this app and EVERY time I use it, the data will be there one minute and gone the next. The app says "Some Data May Have Been Lost" and then it goes to set me up for another round of sleep. Wish there was somewhere online this information was saved. Power and storage on my phone are fine. I cancelled my subscription just as fast as I started it

Not very reliable. I signed up for a free 7 day trial. Before the 7 days were up I was charged $30 for a year so I gave it a further try. Literally every night the data is partially saved and lost due to shut down. It picks up so many sounds and I am in a very quiet location and live alone so I doubt the accuracy. It wouldn't let me answer a call from the sleep medicine clinic while running. So I am deleting my account.

It seems like it has promise, but it's not worth it. I just got the app to see if I still talk in my sleep like I did as a kid or any other sleep habits I didn't know about. Since getting the app though, I've slept worse. I normally don't have a big problem falling asleep. It crashes a lot and doesn't record accurate information. It would list my phone notifications, in-app sounds, and outside noise as other things. It also wouldn't let me listen to my recordings unless I paid. I wish I didn't.

The only thing this app us good for is lots of options for music, meditation and sounds, etc to sleep to. As far as the sleep recording part, all it picks up is white noise and sometimes me moving in my sleep. It's useless in that aspect. Thanks for the free trial though, it allowed me to see this is a useless app without paying for anything.

I have been using this app for a couple of years. It has lots of positives. However, lately, it shuts down almost nightly and does not record my full night's sleep. Last night, it shut off after 3 hours. New stories have not been added in the 2 yrs I have been using the app either. If these items were fixed, I would definitely give it a 5 star rating. The recording portion is absolutely my favorite feature. I had no idea I talked in my sleep or that my snoring was so bad.

Not free. Requires payment in order to access sleep sound recordings and trends. Nowhere in the app or in the app description are they up front about what is free and what you have to pay for. A disappointing issue with most of the sleep tracker apps is that they don't clearly list the features you get in the free version versus the paywalled version. So far, Sleep Tracker by Leap Fitness and Sleep Calculator are the best free apps, and they still have issues.

Not really a free trial. Signed up for the 7 day free trial and was immediately charged. The first night I tried to use it, the app crashed in the middle of the night. Picked up noises that were not categorized correctly. Recorded 15 times that said I was talking in my sleep and it was really me rolling over, the dog moving, or the fan.

I installed this for the 7 day free trial and every single one of the options are blocked you cannot access anything which could be useful for me to actually pay $30 a year. I had several notifications of snoring and other noises it picked up while sleeping and since I can't actually see how the app works it is pretty much useless. If you're going to make an app you should at least give complete access to every option and recording so this was useless I uninstalled it after 2 days. 😕

Looks promising. The only catch is that you can't truly test it out without providing credit card information. If you're going to offer a free trial, then make it a free trial. If I like the software, then I'll purchase it. Don't prey on people and charge them for potential something they didn't want to purchase, and were just slow at canceling.

Not impressed with this app at all. Never collects the the data from sleep. seems to shut down in the middle of the night 90% of the time. Only records snoring 50% of the time when my wife says I snow every night. Needs to have more options to click on before you set it to record. For example, it only had hot or cold room. What about comfortable room? Etc.

My smart watch holds better sleep information than this app. I was interested in the recordings, but you can only use that feature if you buy the premium version. So, I purchased the trial monthly subscription to try it out. They charged me for a full year without my permission. The recordings are not accurate. The only actual recordings it picked up was a train passing by (which recorded as me snoring) and rolling over in my sleep (which picked it up as noise). I recommend not wasting your 💰

It worked perfectly well the first 3 months then trouble started. The app crashes on some nights or it freezes and doesn't record; sometimes, in the morning after waking up from sleep or when trying to stop the recording earlier, the recording restarts a new session. It is a good app but the developers need to work on these glitches. Being frustrated, I am not renewing my subscription.

Recorder picks up sounds well, but about half them are miscategorized. That in itself isn't bad if you could put them in the right categories so it could learn, but you can't. The only option you're given for each recording is to delete it. Thus, whatever features are based on the recordings are unintelligent and unreliable. I'll keep using it to monitor the sounds it captures, but tracking stats based on those sounds is completely useless.

Interesting Data! I like the robustness of this app being able to listen to a variety of calming sounds and stories, hearing recordings of what I'm doing in my sleep, and being able to track my sleeping patterns. The app could be improved by giving the user a way to re-categorize the different areas of sleep. I had a rain sounds recording on my t.v. which got categorized and recorded as "talking in my sleep." Overall, I recommend trying it with the premium functions.
