Great interface but my only problem is for you to manage you subscriptions, you have to go back to the website instead of having everything in the app for less effort from a user. The other thing is that I find it absurd that I can't upgrade my plan. That I have to cancel my current subscription and not get a refund but also have to wait for the end of the subscription for you to change the plan you want. I mean, it's 2024. This is a no brainer.

It's so trashy. I have been trying to download episodes of my favourite shows. It tells me the download is queued and ends up not being downloaded. Fix it man. It's so frustrating

Try go back one episode while streaming or click on the show and try select the episode you want to watch. An absolute nightmare, there is absolutely no way this app was properly tested before release! So unuser friendly, whats supposed to be downtime to relax ends up being one big headache and frustration.

I've enjoyed the app for a month. When it came to renewing my subscription..its refusing to update my payment no natter how many times I try to pay. I have installed and uninstalled the app several times but it hasn't been helpful

Technical Support Request: App Playback Error. This app on my Tablet Rezzin X1 consistently displays a playback error: "Something went wrong. Sorry, there was a playback error. Please try again." This issue persists even after updating and reinstalling the app multiple times. The previous app version worked flawlessly. Please investigate and resolve this issue.

Avoid this APP. Please don't subscribe, they are only interested in your money. Matches that you missed, you can't watch it after. They force u & make u watch their highlights & meaningles documentaries. You pay for football, you cannot watch any movie AT ALL. So it's basically an App meant to dig into your pocket & not to entertain you. I missed Euro qualifiers due to work, & I tried to watch a replay but not an option anymore. I want to watch a movie just to pass time, not possible.

The Worst Movie Streaming App I have ever used, I don't get why a movie I downloaded with my own data will expire after 47 hours and I will have to download it again to watch. This is really really Terrible, I can rewatch a movie I downloaded again and again on Netflix but yours is different. And again I don't get it, why the movie I downloaded will still need data to open. I don't understand Sorry, there's was a playback error. Please try again. And the movie have expired without watching it.

The app glitchs. This is the third time I'm installing the app this week alone and every time I want to watch something on it, the screen auto rotate automatically (switching from landscape to portrait mode on a loop). I chatted with a Customer care representative whose only solution is to change my device.

This latest update sucks, I use a relatively premium phone and for the life of me I can't seem to be able to watch Anything on this app without it crashing 😒😒, even downloaded content seems to buffer, like how is that even possible. Fix your stuff Developers learn from all these other smooth streaming services.

I just finished seeing a movie and just when I was about to open my app to download the next episodes, I was welcomed with, "Viewing stopped. Something's gone wrong. If the problem persists, contact online supports team" I even tried to uninstall and install back the app thinking that was going to help but it stayed the same

☆Hi, it's time consuming to keep putting the subscription code why can't the system pick it up automatically & reconnect us automatically cause you have all our details in the system, like the way Dstv comes on automatically after you pay. ☆when signing in please include finger prints as a sign in option & please allow us to use the same pin instead of changing it everytime cause this is a phone app & am the only user i don't see the need to keep changing the password.

You can't remove shows from continue watching. When you are watching a show and leave the app, it starts show (series) all over instead of continuing where you left off. You can't lock the screen when watching on your phone, which I need for my toddler who loves to press on the screen when watching. The app simply is not user friendly. Love the shows though.

When I saw the negative reviews, I felt like we were all blowing the issue out of proportion, until I paid for this app. Its a total disaster. The only way you get to see a movie properly is if you download it, or streaming it online makes one think it might even crash your phone. On all counts, it has to be fixed, or Netflix will always be a better option.

Showmax has fantastic shows, but this new app is absolutely frustrating! It's September, and I would have thought the teething problems with the new app would be resolved. On my TV, it freezes A LOT, I have to sign in every time I refresh it when it freezes. It does not remove the continue watching shows even when you're done watching the season. Captions from a different show appear on another. I love the shows, but the app on TV is horrendous. Please work on this!!

This app is extremely frustrating to use. It keeps switching between landscape and portrait mode in an endless loop whenever I try to stream a movie. There's no option to go back, and the only solution is to restart my phone. At first, I thought my phone was the problem, but after reading other reviews, I realized it's a common issue. Maybe showmax is not available for higher version of phones like google pixel. It's a complete waste of time, and the subscription feels useless. Fix this ASAP!

The original app was good. It was easier to navigate. Managing subscription was way easier through the original app. Now the process is just long and unnecessary. Bad user interface, I can't even see all the movies and tv shows in the app. You can only see the recommended movies the rest are hidden. Unless you search them manually you can't find them. I was really disappointed and didn't enjoy the experience. Showmax, you can do better!

FRUSTRATING!!! Why keep shows I've already finished watching on continue watching!? The worst is that the app keeps shutting, I literally have to pray when trying to open it. My phone has even suggested I delete the app as it won't open and I see a pop up that the app is not responding. I'm ready to cancel my subscription because I can't even watch anything.

EDIT: All of the shows that were saved under "continue watching" are gone. This is extremely frustrating. First I lost all the shows I was watching when the new app launched and we were forced to update and now this. ORIGINAL REVIEW:I really dont like this new app. I lost all of my lists and there are so many movies that are no longer available.

The app is okay but needs work with download management and other inapp functions. It's relatively harder to navigate to and manage episodes that you would want to delete and add. I don't see why there is a "download again" button, yet the app lacks auto downloads like other streaming services. I am certain people subscribe to this with a particular show in mind they want to watch, the least that the app can do is make it seamless. Have us watch the shows we came for with ease.
