CAMERA-BLOCKING ON STEROIDS
Shot Designer was developed by Per Holmes, the creator of the Hollywood Camera Work training.
Shot Designer is based on the realization that neither Camera Diagrams, Shot Lists, or Storyboards by themselves give you a satisfying understanding of camera-blocking -- you have to use them *together*.
Shot Designer is FAST. The app knows how Directing works and automatically does most of the work for you. Cameras rearrange themselves when you move characters. Animate characters and cameras with simple Walk To and Track To commands. Create sophisticated tracking shots with multiple marks. Shot Designer is fast enough that you can rearrange the diagram with actors waiting.

There is simply no other app like this... amazing job... Unfortunately I haven't been using that much to evaluate the tools properly

The UI is so broken I couldn't tap a single button, maybe the app is good if only I could pass the title screen

Have used this program before on Mac and loved it. Trying it on a chromebook and can't click anything.... quite dissapointed.

It's alright but the layout on the screen is kind of clustered. Needs more space for android at least!

This app is over priced. It doesn't worth even 300 rs. They don't have varieties of lights logos, there aren't enough sets. They don't have even a basic light logos, they should atleast have skypanels, HMIs logos. This app doesn't even deserve 1 star. I prefer to use photoshop, and download logos of lights for free, there are tons of them online. And use them in photoshop. Don't download this third class app which is paid for 1750 rs. I wasted my money. I had to buy because my DOP demanded.

Needs some updates and more items. This has not had a single new item added to it since its launch. It's still my go to app, but still, some new items would be extremely useful and welcome

A bug in the app prevents me from logging in as I can't access the field where I have to type in my password. There's also an orientation lock for some weird reason.

pros: takes some time getting used to It works. yeah thats its it just works. cons: lack of props bad interfaces on mobile only landscape outdated design and intuitivity best regards, Andy

Doesn't work. I paid for the pro version and it doesn't allow me to register or sign in. I tried Uninstaller it and redownloading it and only get a blank screen. Tried using on laptop and only can use the free version, won't let me sign in there either.

It needs UPDATE! I have the Windows version and it works, but I can't sync my data on this android version! This suck, specially when you buy the pro version but it still won't work. I love this app but, come on Hollywood Camera Work!

absolutely awful. doesn't even work with my phone, opens to a completely blank white screen. assuming this is a format issue but completely unacceptable to not optimise your app for use on all devices

Hasn't been updated in almost 2 years now, interface is terrible and it shows. I couldn't even sign up for an account because the app stays in landscape with no rescaling. Got my refund after 5 minutes of using the pro version. Maybe I'll give it another try if the app interface, at the very least, can rescale.

Wasted Potential 😕. You can't save, share or export your edits (Scenes), unless you buy the Pro Version and it's not cheap. If it weren't for this, it could have been the best or the most useful app for floorplanning. I love the features and functions from the app, but it's hard for me to give 5 stars to the app and sweap the faults under the carpet.

9 yrs later. Crashed at startup. Crashed my phone. Had to remove/reinsert the battery to get my phone back. Basically took my phone hostage. No need to contact me thanks. Goodluck. Grt for my exp lvl (Adult student- screen and media). This has so much potential to becoming a fully fledge post/production app. (#sometimes, if I focus real hard, brilliant things appear in front me).

terrible app! on some of my devices it wont work at all just a white screen (like many others) but on my pc it does work but its horrible, terrible UI. things arnt clear, inserting a background image doesnt work. its not intuitive at all. been a waste of my time trying to get this working or doing anything useful. not to mention you cant save without paying for pro. but theres no way im paying for something that doesnt even work properly.
