Let's you create shortcuts and widgets you wouldn't normally be able to access. Had been very helpful in the creation of themed app icons when third parties don't want to play nice with "material you". However recently I haven't been able to make shortcuts from the widget menu, this means I can't make shortcuts without the little app watermark like I would normally be able to do.

Overall, it was pretty good. But, you can only have the shortcuts on your homescreeen, which that isn't what I was expecting. Also, I'm rating this a 3 because, I somehow did somthi g with it and made a shortcut thing, that I can't click or move, and its stuck. I tried to delete the app and reinstall, but it still stayed. Someone please help me get rid of the thing!!

I've tried lots of shortcut maker apps, and this is the only one I've found that has a feature to prevent Samsung's UI from annoyingly reverting my shortcut icons after a while. That's an absolute necessity for me. Fortunately, this app is also one of the most full-featured shortcut makers in other respects, too, supporting many different kinds of shortcuts, custom sizing of icons, etc.

Hate companies taking things away that don't even change anything to leave, couldn't get shortcuts I wanted, but these turned out to be better! I can make tailored, cute shortcuts like when Windows was cool. Thank you! Is there a way to make widgets more specific, example: directly to EQ vs Sound, I'd pay a small bit for that. I'd like to shape my custom icon in more ways than 2. Dunno if this is even possible, but remove or shrink arrow in the corner, but may be an android thing. 10/10🌟Get it!

There's a bug in the app that doesn't allow me to pick a specific image & from what I can tell & messing with my files, there's nothing wrong with the image & specifically the app itself (android even gives me a pop up when this happens), other then that the app is good & does what is advertised, if it wasn't for this bug & watermark this would be an amazing app

Amazing app! I love the ability to put a shortcut of nearly anything on my phone or on the web to my homescreen with so much levels of customization! As an example, I can download an app but I don't like the new logo for the icon. I can just download a picture of the old logo and set it as my icon, change the name, and even make it require a password to open the shortcut! Great app, would give more stars if I could.

Absolutely amazing, I love how capable this app is. There's only one thing that's REALLY testing my patience and makes it tempting to give 3 stars; if you go to hide an app so you can replace it with it's shortcut, EVERY shortcut you have will disappear so you have to put every-single-one-back. I've been trying to customize my phone for maybe 3 hours total, it gets a little hair pulling.

Great app, but has a major flaw, and support is totally unresponsive. I created collections for all apps on my home screen, w/ hidden labels, but every time my phone restarts, every icon displays a label saying "Shortcut Maker." To make it worse, there doesn't appear to be a way to simply edit an existing icon to rehide the label...you have to completely recreate a new shortcut for the collection, with the label hidden. Would've given just one star, but it's a free app.

The app/widget would be great if it didn't keep crashing. I loved that it didn't need a rooted phone to create your own shortcuts with the ability to assign an icon from an icon pack. But tapping on the finished product causes my screen to go black instead of opening the pertinent file, url, or what have you. Data reports have been sent to the devs more than once. Such a shame.

There was definitely a steep learning curve, but once I understood the workings of the app, I absolutely loved it. It doesn't even take you to the shortcuts app before the actual app, it takes you straight there. This might change if I see a bunch of ads, but so far it's been the perfect app. The only minor annoyance is that in my app drawer and other places besides my home screen, it still shows the old icon design.

I love this app! It's helped a lot with making my phone look neater and such! I only have one "complaint" (?) When I try to change the photo on some apps it works but on some apps it crashes after choosing a picture. I think it's just a bug or something but it does get a bit annoying. Overall it's a really good app and one of the best out there other than that one small thing!

Its the best one I have used so far. Absolutely love it! Its not like shortcuts on iphone/ipads. With ios shortcuts, when pressing the shortcut app you made, it opens shortcuts then the app you want. This app does NOT do that. It opens the app automatically. It looks professional. You have to make a widget for the shortcut app then it opens automatically, and you set up and customize the app you want. So basically it's a widget. Its wonderful!!

I ADORE this app, it's easy to use, works wonderful, allows you to customize your phone plus a lot of other helpful features. I especially like how I can customize apps. I'm really hoping it's updated to work with Android 14 because it seems the new system updates causes the widgets to fail. It's day 1 without it and I'm already missing all my shortcuts.

A lifesaver! Allows me to use multiple browsers without much loss of convenience. Recent changes in something (browsers? The Playstore? Android? my launcher? IDK) forced me to use 3 browsers & a browser selector app plus VPN to permit anonymity and security with minimal ads, but impaired my ability to stay signed in a few websites I visit often. Shortcut Maker solved that. App is easy to learn, highly customizable & flexible. My homepage is cleaner too. Try it if you use multiple browsers.

Allows Me to See the URL! Android updates from Google and website updates from services often messed up my mobile browser's view of the URL / web address. Google apparently thinks well written code should allow a website on Android to NOT display it's web address. For many reasons, including at the bare minimum just sharing an address, I hated this capability. Shortcut Maker allows me to see the address bar, and not have it disappear. Given an update to eBird, this was driven home once more.

Damn! The recent update RUINED (deleted) all the shortcuts I had previously made! Now I gotta make them all anew. That sucks! Improved icon design choices is good (but can't edit once made - why??). Also, selecting folders is kinda clumsy (files are much easier). And, there are no instructions. But the shortcuts, once you figure out how to use this app, are excellent. So... This has to be a mixed review. Just, PLEASE, don't ruin all our existing shortcuts with your next updates!

Nearly perfect for me! I just have a few small gripes that I've encountered that I think would greatly improve the experience overall. First, I have noticed when making a collection that the icons displayed inside of the icon for the collection/folder are shown to have proportional issues where one icon that is in one corner is tiny compared to the icons displayed in each other corner. Second I would like to have the option to have a quicker transition animation for the app bar such as a swipe.

This is a great app. It's easy to learn, free, and honestly makes my phone as organized as I need it to be. However, when my phone auto updated, the entire app broke. The only way a shortcut will appear now is with a large watermark over it. Tried everything I could think of, but nothing has seemed to work. If this issue could be resolved this app for sure would have earned a 5 star!

Absolutely perfect! I use it for "sticky notes" on my home screen. Being able to put a visual link to a url, file, whatever & give it both the name & icon I select puts "must do" items right in front of me every time I pick up my phone or tablet. Then I just remove the shortcut after. No separate app to open, nothing at all on the screen unless I need it to be.

This seems like a really great app for customizing icons but when I follow the instructions to remove the watermark, it doesn't show the shortcut icon on my home screen, only the actual 'Shortcut Maker' icon. I've emailed the developer for help but so far, no response. I'm happy to pay to use this app, it's exactly what I need! But again, no response from the developer.
