Wow. ShopRite managed to take an app that took them the last 5 or 6 years to almost get working correctly, and then throw it all away and start with a brand new app with a whole slew of new ux issues. Great job. But don't worry - it looks much nicer now. It doesn't work and it's hard to navigate, but it looks way cooler. Perhaps this is a clever ruse to get us all the appreciate the old app. Which was also kinda bad, but just about useable.

Used to be able to Clear All "Checked Items" from your list(Huge Plus!). Also, used to be easier to switch between List & Cart. When switching between Instore/Pick Up/Delivery if a list is not cleared if purchased it sits there then suddenly gets added to your list. Then you have to delete everything individually. Frustrating. Often specials or products cannot be added to the list from the circular. (on the website too!) Often the accuracy of items in the circular of off or not working.

Changed my review. I emailed support twice weeks apart. Still no response. The app is no longer working properly. Can't filter or search for items. The results are always inaccurate. I explained to support by email and no fix. Placing an order is time consuming. I see I'm not the only one with this issue. Especially annoying that the King Salmon is set to purchase a minimum of 10 lbs. At $25.99 a pound! When I order it I call ahead to make sure I'm given amount in the notes. Hello tech support?

All of sudden today, the app keeps opening to a queue line on pause... I've never used online shopping via app and don't plan to, so I have no idea why app is suddenly doing this. It doesn't give me an option to exit paused queue page.. It completely consumes entire screen with no ability to exit. As a result, I was not able to access my member card while paying at register this morning. Even now, at home, after uninstalling and reinstalling app, it does same. Extremely frustrating.

hardly works, even in the store. works so slowly that I have to shut it down and restart, it hardly reloads at all. the old app was much better. edit- This is the worse app I have ever used in my life a crashes so much it never loads! My digitals don't come off and they disappear randomly! This app crashes so frequently I can never even use it! This is so frustrating I'm probably going to switch over entirely to Stop & Shop and big why because they have good systems.

The newest version this month is a huge disappointment. Digital coupons don't remain loaded, creating a shopping list is no longer a simple task, and often a search for something such as wheat bread turns up a result of no products available. Too many steps for what used to be uncomplicated, making this new version frustrating in every way to navigate. Newer, in this case, doesn't mean better: not even close.

I finally got used to the old version, and this one sucks worse!!! I can no longer email my list, which was very useful Horrible app. It loads the circular, which is useless on a phone. It won't let me email the list (in case my husband is doing the shopping). It makes you pick each item; ie, I can't put in 10 yogurts, it makes me pick the exact ones. The website was updated too, now it wants you to create a list for shop from home, which I don't want. Old app and website were much better

good for ordering delivery, and for finding items in store, (customer service, aside from the line, isn't always helpful). but if they don't have an item, you are limited to replacing it with whatever THEY choose. also, you can't change your order from the app- you must go to the website ON A COMPUTER, (site on phone doesn't work either- only a computer)

I downloaded the app because there was something in store that was only available as a digital coupon, but it won't even let me login. I click on the profile button to try to see a login screen, but nothing happens after the click. I reinstalled the app but the issue persists. After reading all these recent reviews, I guess their recent update trashed their app. I'm hoping they fix it soon after all these complaints.

The app is extremely buggy, takes forever to load, shuts down randomly and is not prepared for peak usage. I routinely get a note saying that I have to wait 10 minutes before I can get on because it's too busy. Further, the shop-from-home option is extremely poorly executed. The substitute items that are offered for things that are not in stock often make no sense. I've used the shop from home option at a few different ShopRite's, and a service was always similarly disappointing. I think it's time for me to delete it and move on to a different grocery.

Horrible! It has never worked. I actually deleted it and was using the old app until I was told it wouldn't work anymore and had to use the new one. Well this doesn't work either. I cant see the circular and forget about trying to use digital coupons which I loved about the old app. All I see is that annoying red dot flashing as it tries to load anything but nothing works! Please go back to the drawing board and create a new app!!!!!

Edited 9/13/21: I changed from 5 stars to 3. Unfortunately the text messages aren't working so I can't confirm any substitutions or know if anything is out of stock from my order without calling. It's frustrating that coupons loaded to your card don't come off either with orders. This app is so easy to use, especially with shopping online. Easy to load coupons, huge selection available to choose from, categories are easy to browse, search works well.

Do not like this new app because I find it confusing, I'm used to the previous version. The older app was a lot easier to download your digital coupons, scan your card, look up items when you needed, there was something called ShopRite downtime dollars, and it also kept track of your holiday points. The newer version doesn't do any of that. They really should go back previous version because everyone was happy with it and was able to figure it out.

This new version is horrible!Can't load the products when clicked on in the weekly circular or load the digital coupons as in the previous version (have to go to separate digital coupon tab to load anything). When trying to view the new features tab, just shows up as blurry gibberish. Does not have "empty cart" feature any longer. Have to delete items 1 by 1. So disappointed with this "updated" version. It's like they just launched without even testing. The previous version was so much better.

Has a nice layout, but account registration through the app gives some difficulty. For instance: I filled out the password field according to the standards, but was given an error that said there was an issue with the password. The details on what was wrong were not provided, and additional new passwords didn't work, with the same error.

This app sucks now. You use to be able to put in a category and get a choice off all the items in that category. Now you only get like 3 items. What's wrong with you people. Your supposed to make things work better not worse. This is an update from 4/29 post. Still can't find anything. I have to scroll all through the aisles and still can't find item. And you can't even write in item that you use to buy by name. They don't come up. For example can't even find the frozen cooked mashed potatoes.

The money saving part of the app in my opinion is not really needed. We are forced to use it because you can get extra money off of an item. But if you have a ShopRite discount card you should get this extra discount. But now they make you have to add this app, so you then have to scroll through the app to find the extra money you can get off and add it to your ShopRite discount card. So stupid just another fire hoop to jump through.

This app is great when it actually works. More than half then time, however, nothing loads or it takes a good 3 minutes for 1 single item to finally load. When I finally get everything into my cart which has then taken at least 2x longer than it should have, I am unable to reserve a time slot. This app has more bugs than a cheap motel. If I didn't hate going to the store so much I wouldn't even bother trying to use it. Fix the issues!! This is constant!!

I reviewed this app two years ago and complained that it was slow. That's still the case for me, unfortunately. It's also not very accessible for people with poor vision or bigger fingers. Deleting items from the your list used to be a simple slide motion. Now you have to press on this tiny trash button which is easy to miss and you end up opening the product description instead. Even if you do hit the trash item, you then have to confirm it. Very slow workflow!

App not interacting. I downloaded the app, but no keys work. There's a section in the homepage that allows me to swipe right, so I know the entire page should be interactive, but it's not. I was really looking forward to being able to select item substitutions! Sadly, I had to uninstall. Please fix this!
