**3/4/19 update- i think the problem some are having with the app staying on the blue screen when attempting to open has to do with those that move it to SD CARD STORAGE. E-MAILED, so hopefully it'll be fixed!** Having issues since last update. Fun ways to collect points for gift cards and I like all the newest products they show. Different app from the others, no boring surveys. Slower point collecting unless your totally dedicated, but still worth it. Free stuff is free stuff, lol.

Love the app and concept, but when I switched phones it just won't let me load receipts without looking all blurry, and I know my phone isn't the problem, but fine, I'll use my old phone to take the pictures. But then it happened 3 separate times, it can't find the item on the receipt, even if the item is the first one. I emailed for one and they credited me for it, but to email every time is too much. I just wish they would fix it, it would've been 5 stars :(

Lately I've had some issues but when I email the company I'm told it's my phone (fault) .. first my videos would not play, now, my nearby page that lists all the stores offering kicks is blank. I've done everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the app, EVERYTHING!! I'm just going to assume it's MY phones fault even though it's a new phone and I have no other issues with other shopping apps. Please fix this! I've already emailed you guys with a detailed message about this! Ready to delete.

Used to be easy to watch ads but now they time out after clicking them. I've had items say they're incorrect when it's the same brand, size, flavor/scent etc. that's listed/pictured. I've had no points given for ads being watched. The organization is annoying, having the app refresh after every scan is tiring. It would be nice to pull up the items into their own page instead of everything being listed on the main page. There's been multiple times where the same category has been split.

Cannot redeem for purchases I found and want to try, because this app won't work with my phone (other apps do). Also, I can find the correct item, but with certain ones, it claims not enough connection to scan, but in the same shopping trip, other items work. Turns out it will be that item only. Glad to earn points--hope it doesn't glitch when I go to redeem.

Honestly I used to like this app it worked great for a year. But for the past 4 Months it has completely stopped working. I uninstalled and re installed, made sure location and Bluetooth were on like I'm supposed too, and it will not let me get kicks.. I reached out to customer service over 10 times and nobody has helped me fix anything. I went shopping and use my debit card that is attached to it and I'm still not getting the kicks it's very frustrating.

I've been using this app for years. (At least 8) and have never redeemed a reward. I've been saving kicks for a high dollar gift card. Today I decided to use part of my kicks toward a smaller prize, and I go through all the steps and after the "Redeeming" screen goes away I'm taken to a screen that says "An error has occurred! Please try again." That's very frustrating.

I don't like it when the app doesn't work in the doorways or even worse, when customer service doesn't respond to these complaints or just fix everything period. Would love to see more points opportunities on the app with videos, etc. But do appreciate that there are nearly constant extra point opportunities. Would be nice if there were more stores with walk-in/doorway scan opportunities.

Edit: 2 Sep 23 - I've had Shopkick for over 8 years. For a # of months now, I get errors when linking/unlinking cards. The only reply CS has is they're aware and working on it. Missing out on lots of points from this glitch. When the app works, I love it, but lately, when I enter a store, the app freezes. So, I'm not able to get my kicks for walking in, and then it won't let me do the scans, even after completely closing and reopening. If that problem can be fixed, I'll gladly give it 5 stars.

I changed my star rating from a 5 to a 1. This used to be a great app. But now in order to get any kicks on the app you have to watch the videos that are in between all the ads. That maybe wouldn't be too bad if the videos would work! But most of the time they disappear after clicking on them. I scroll between all 3 tabs and most times all they do is disappear. Then once in awhile I'll get one that works for maybe 3 or 4 videos and then Disappears again. Very disappointing. Still doesn't work!!

This app has been generally reliable for the over 10 years I've been using it. I've redeemed many points for gift cards over the years (ie. Target, Best Buy, Lowes). I've had many of the issues mentioned in some of the reviews (not getting "walkins" at Marshals and others). Lately, the app has been offering more points for viewing commercials. But, now the app has stopped loading the commercials and I'm just waiting with a black screen. Very frustrating. It takes long enough already.

Do not download. The Worst app. Constantly crashed, wouldn't recognize my store location when I was inside the store, wouldn't recognize the barcodes for items. Then when I tried to redeem my points for a 2$ card before deactivating my account because I was just done, it kept saying there was an issue with your redemption. After 3 different times and attempts I just deleted the app. Do not download.....

I've used it for years, and would have given it five stars not long ago. Now, though, its quality has tanked. In-store scans stop working after about four items, and lately every single receipt I've submitted has been rejected. I'll admit some possible fault on my end, but not ten times in a row. I certainly can't count on getting points from receipt submissions.

This app wasnt so bad when i first had it. I thought it was pretty cool and got easy points left and right. After a while trying to go to different stores i realized the app isnt that great. A few places you dont get kicks for entering and i have sent 6-8 problem reports and have yet to get one reply or points to any of them. Even when i made a purchase to show i was there i got squat!! ** update** Not worth the aggravation with this app. Fetch is much better and they have customer service.

I've been using Shopkick for years and have racked up many gift cards. Overall, it's a great idea and a useful app. But kick opportunities aren't what they used to be. Walk-in kicks are only available 50% of the time, items to scan aren't sold at stores, the app frequently gets flavor varieties wrong (claiming you scanned the wrong thing when it's the item and size shown in the pic), the receipt kicks aren't on many things I use anymore, and it wants you to watch a 3-minute video for ONE kick.

Used to be great. Still pays out, but it is way more time consuming than it was. You have to scan more items to get the same amount of points. A trip to a store is not worth scanning an item just to earn 5 to 10 kicks per item and Maybe 10 point walk-in points. It has to at least cover the gas to go to the store. Also, no longer pays kicks for linked cards. So I removed my linked cards. Disappointing.

I'd give a zero rating. Not secure at all! Somehow, someone got into my account, drained all my points, and as stated, we should approve the redemption of gift cards but that did not happen. Please be aware as well if you input credit card info! Customer service just closed the ticket with no resolution. VERY disappointed as I've used this app since 2012 and had 88,000 points. BIG thumbs down. Not worth the time either as it's harder to get points.

At first I loved the Shopkick app, it was pretty simple. I always received my points. But the last couple of times of used it recently its not given me all of my points and when I reported the issue i got a message saying that the item was missing on my receipt. No it was not missing its shows very plain. I would appreciate it if customer care would take the time to investigate further and fix this issue for me. Otherwise it's not worthy time or money and Ile have to delete the app. Thanku

This app is great when it works. I've been trying since February to redeem my points however and every time I get a message "There was an issue redeeming your reward. Please send an email to ... for help" just for the postmaster to send an immediate email back that "The group support only accepts messages from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the list."

Recently I started using the app consistently. Great app, easy to use, and accumulates points pretty quickly. You get points for 'walking in' to many stores, scanning codes for certain products, and accruing points; very easy. I did have a tech issue while trying to cash out. I contacted Shopkick through the app and received an email reply the next day problem was fixed. Great app, with great rewards, and helpful support when you need it!
