The chat app is horrible. Whenever I use it on my Note 20 ultra, if my screen goes dim, I lose connection with the representative, and have to start over with a new representative, wasting my time. Also, sometimes I'm typing and the keyboard hides the textbox, so I can't see what I'm typing.. furthermore, you can't back out and come back in or you will lose your chat session. Frustrating.

Super buggy gives lots of error messages. Spent over an hour trying to make one simple purchase. Unbelieveable that such a large tech company can have such a terrible purchasing interface. Update: Then when I finally made a purchase the ap. wouldn't update my location, and wouldn't take any form of payment other than Amazon pay. It also said it won't be shipped for a whole month, and gave no options to pick up anywhere except NYC 250 miles away! So I cancelled!

I have been with Samsung for a long time. This was the first purchase through this app. Found what I needed easily. No opinion on customer service as of yet, but I would imagine it's like everywhere else with customer service progressing downward. Not thrilled with shipping times, but overall, I had a good experience. Will revisit this review, if needed.

this app is normally good, but recently it keeps glitching and giving the wrong price for items. I've been shopping for TVs and looking at the Frame and its showing me the 65" is $999, which is not the case once I add it to my cart. Then I looked at watch straps, and they're showing me $1,099 for a silicone band. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, same thing. Might have been an error in the last update?

Rediculous UI Design! I am using a Samsung Tab A with a keyboard so it is in landscape mode. This app will NOT allow you to use it in landscape mode. Ever try typing your name, address, etc sideways. Really dumb design!! :( FYI - The cart in their web sight is the same rediculous way!! What is Samsung thinking?? I was contacted by Samsung fairly quickly and I appreciate that. It shows that they do care. Now let's see if they actually correct the issue. I'm hoping that they do.

I love Samsung products but ordering through them has been a nightmare. When I go to checkout, it will get rid of any of the offers they have displayed. The "live chat" and phone service was not helpful at all. I talked to literally 10 different people and did not receive any help. I have tried placing an order twice now, and both times keeps getting cancelled! Extremely disappointing

I was pleased to learn that there is a Trade-In policy. My S4 phone & Galaxy Note 8 tablet are ready to be replaced. I downloaded the Shop app onto the tablet to find out the trade-in values. However, the app isn't working. When I select a phone, the tablet freezes on a blank screen and that's the end of it. So far, the app has done nothing. I would love to rate it higher if it would work as it should.

The app contains no ads, and it is also the one point of reference for easily ordering smart devices from Samsung as well as being a part of their trade-in program. The fault in this app lies in the ordering system - its so vague it's painful compared to how other services have modernized and adapted. It takes forever to update, so much so there have been instances I have received my device and the app/site still says its in transit for a day or two. Very strange.

It took me three days to place a pre-order. I was very disappointed with the fact that my app kept freezing up and I also received multiple error messages! In order for the app to unfreeze, I would have to completely exit out of the app and close it. I would then have to re-open the app, login again, and re-create my order once more. The chat / help features are useless. It never gives you a real person that can assist you with any issues.

Worst experience ever. I strongly recommend not buying from this app. You won't receive the item you purchased. During Black Friday, we ordered a 70" Samsung TV, model "QE1C," which was on sale. The delivery date kept changing, and in the end, they suggested swapping it with a cheaper model or canceling the order. Despite assurances from customer service, my order was canceled two days later, causing me to miss out on all the sales.

I actually just ordered my S9 Tab Ultra through the app. Logged into my Samsung account, added a few other items to my order, got a free keyboard cover, checked out, got financing for my purchase, arranged shipping, and all that with no back tracking, no issues, no problems, or concerns of any kind. Thanks for an app that actually worked the first time I used it. I was going to get the S9 tab through Verizon, but they only had the 256, not an ideal option, in my opinion.

App is fairly easy to use, but pricing is misleading and, in some cases, incorrect. Prices for most items reflect the cost after maximum trade-in, but few customers qualify. Also, in my experience, you cannot even trust the prices in the app until you have gotten to the final payment page. I ordered 2 items today, and it wasn't until I got to the absolute final screen that the prices on both items increased by a combined total of $30. Very misleading.

The new update to the Samsung Keyboard completely ignored the Keyboard setup for the learning disabled. I'm dyslexic and finally had a Keyboard layout that worked well for me. The correct font and key spacing. It worked well with Grammarly and allowed for worry-free communication. For some unknown reason, Samsung has decided to completely disregard the need for flexibility of learning disabled people and restrict the options and customization for people who are neurodivergent

One of the worst shopping app I've ever seen. Promotions and discounts never work properly and customer service can't do anything about it. Example, discounted phone is $1568, when you add trade in for $1000 off, final price becomes $768. They also charge you tax based on full price, but gives discount based on all subtraction including trade in. Their math seems to always change in their favor and not in the logical or mathematical way. This has been going on for years! Very disappointing

If your favorite part of shopping is selecting options, this app is for you. I've purchased my last 3 devices through this app because of the deals and discounts, but you absolutely must earn them through the pain of the awful interface and constant resetting of the order process and loss of options selected. And for the love of all time held sacred, do not navigate from the app as the point of focus or you'll lose everything, every time, without fail.

Edit: because there is a problem with every purchase. Sent phone in for trade in value. They kept it so long the battery had completely died and they marked it as ineligible for trade for not turning on. I made sure it met the 3 requirements before sending in. Got sent back and I got charged. I tested it when it got back to me. All I had to do was charge it a little and o look at that it turns on and works. Samsung is becoming the biggest JOKE of a phone company.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely horrendous experience trying to purchase 2 phones through the app. Continuously freezing during checkout, items and discounts disappearing at checkout. Having to start over several times and still not being able to checkout. Then the absolute disastrous mix up with Samsung financing where we received financing we cannot use because it is linked to my account and not my husband. Awful from start to finish. Still unable to purchase the phones!

The Samsung app has been a constant source of frustration for me, particularly when it comes to using it with my Samsung S24 Ultra phone. The app frequently causes my phone to crash, making it incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. As a result, I have resorted to ordering my items through a web browser rather than using the Samsung app. This is a disappointing experience, as it defeats the purpose of having a dedicated app in the first place.

Buggy and needs work. Prices are often not accurately reflected until the final checkout page. UPDATE: I have reset, cleared, and deleted the app in the past. Unfortunately, this seems to be a feature, not a bug. I have called and raised this issue with Samsung customer support a few times. Typically, the issue is resolved in the moment, which is great. The app remains a mess in this regard, however. Accurate price reflections during the purchase process are important to me and reflect rating.

App stalls and completely locks my phone whenever I click the shopping cart to checkout. Phone freezes on loading screen and I can't even manually restart it I just have to wait for my phone restart on it's own. Has been happening for the last 3 days since the begining of the sale started. Update: Cleared cache (again) as suggested. Cleared data. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the same issue.
