It's got a lot of potential but the developers are greedy for money... I've had the game for 3 days and played for a total of 5 hours. It's impossible to progress with out spending real money for swords or other materials and the graphics are too small I can't zoom in or out or rotate. Sure tapjoy is there to help earn swords but they also require spending real life money or playing games that take up too much storage space or they just take too long to complete... What a waste of time.

Constantly crashing and lot of waiting... Game unplayable as constantly crashing, figures and buildings not showing on screen and you're constantly waiting around. Difficult to make money or expand, unless you pay, of course! Will entertain you for 10 minutes a day, max. Then you'll have no hands or swords, money to do more. So if that's what you're after, then great. Otherwise, move on...

>> edit: been playing for years now& like it better, BUT still have uncompleted tasks from beginning. takes getting used to if you're not familiar w/the type of game(like sims, but not really) & i wasn't. online community is helpful. not a game to sit&complete in one sitting; there are many levels.<< only been playing for a day or two, already bored. annoyed. NEVER ENOUGH COINS OR SWORDS TO COMPLETE GIVEN TASKS ON A LEVEL. 4-12hrs to wait is ridiculous! no instructions/help to in the game.

I've been playing this game off n on since 2013. I recently downloaded it again to start over on my newest phone and it's been draining my battery like crazy and I'm not 100% sure if it's related but since I downloaded it my phone has been running considerably slower..this is happening when the app isn't even open, I close out of it as soon as I'm done because of the battery sucking issue. Can this be fixed please? I don't want to continue sacrificing this much battery and speed to play.

Played for about a month. Game is highly unstable. Most objects appear as gray squares making it impossible to identify what they are & determine what you would like to build next. Half the characters appear as gray ghosts. Characters travel too slowly between tasks. Too many popups at game initiation. Popup saying everyone is busy you have to physically close is wholly unnecessary. Someone is always "tinkering with the server" making game unavailable for many hours, as long as an entire day.

Really nice game. However, around 6th lvl. on my account when you have to visit Violet's Island I never get there. Never finished loading. The game is also touchy with internet connection. I have other games on my phone more complicated than this on and they work fine. For instance the World Conquerer games etc. Dev. team needs to look at "THEIR" quality of server. Otherwise I really like the game. 4/5 for nothing is perfect.

I have been playing this game for years, I just lot my game that I was at at least leval over 60, and so I'm starting over again but I'm excited to see what I get when looking for treasures in the bushes. I hope to get the wood cutting machine it's the one machine that I've yet to find. It makes it very hard to finish my buildings without it and I had at least 15 buildings and all I needed was that one machine. So fingers crossed and off I go and don't forget to go-to the other islands !!

Played for years until last weekend when the game refused to load. Cleared cache. Didn't load. Cleared data. Didn't load. Removed and reinstalled. Didn't load. Tried again yesterday. Game loaded, but my years worth of progress were gone. Got a message from support that said that they had corrected the load issue. I replied saying that I had lost all my progress and am awaiting a response. After a week, their support team was able to restore my game progress.

It is not right that you force players to buy gold to complete some of the quest. It is too hard to keep swords and gold on hand. There should be other ways to obtain these items between level ups. All of my quest items are just dark squares. I can't tell what anything is. So far, Ithis game is not that great. I played this game several years ago and really enjoyed it. Now, it seems to be a scam. You can't advance unless you spend real money and the quest items and ports will not download.

This would be a better game, if, the makers would give more swords to accomplish the quests. The quests come at you soo fast, there's no way of earning more swords. Buildings take way too many steps to accomplish. It takes too many rocks to make stone. It would be a better game experience if these issues were addressed. Respectfully.

It's a fun game, but quickly losing interest. Everything takes so long so complete. The game only gives you a small amount of helpers unless you spend money. I've spent some I do understand you all need to make some money, but it's not balanced. Waiting for buildings and achievements to be completed are ridiculously long with little rewards.

They don't give you enough tools to clear brush, but wait you can purchase some. Don't give you enough coin in the tasks to purchase items, but wait you can purchase some coin too. See the repetitive theme here. It could be a more enjoyable game if they weren't so stingy with items. I understand selling things to make money, but you're going overboard here. That is why I'll be installing this game. The only good thing is it didn't use all my battery up, probably do to the lower graphics.

I have been playing this game off and on for 6 years now. It's a fun game. However, when you finish a task, you can't sell it nor put it into inventory if you don't want the building or scene a part of your island. On a positive note, customer service gets back to users quickly and is good at resolving issues. A few fixes would make it the best app game ever, in my opinion.

Had this previously and was so far and addicted and stopped cause I got so busy. Decided to redownload it and within 20 minutes the loading issues are out of control. Can't access the challenge and will not load. Black boxes are all over!!! No matter how many times I force stop and reopen! This wasn't popreach when I used to play.... This needs to be fixed!

An interesting enough distraction but the company changed hands a couple times and many of the "side adventures" were forgotten like Atlantis , the shipwreck and the towers. The weekend events are the same from one year to the next and the building events appear to be in a loop. I have built the school bus at least three times. No longer have a use for any of the equipment and after you use an item you found in the jungle it stays in you inventory FOREVER. New challenges please?

It is impossible to progress without spending a lot of money. There are many tasks you must complete to progress (some timed), but there is no way of getting items needed without spending a lot of money on extra swords to search the jungle or buy gold. Some needed items don't exist at all, but the tasks can be bypassed with gold. Which you pretty much have to buy with real money, since it's very difficult to get in the game. I play this type of game a lot, and this is the worst I've seen.

Most of the game is good for a few minutes of fun here and there, however, after months of gameplay, still unable to visit Violets Island, preventing progression. Can’t upgrade certain building which require planks, but the building require to turn lumber into planks is a quest reward. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and even changed phones, the game is not fully functional.

I have LOVED this game and played everyday for over a year. About a month or so ago it started glitching: everytime I would use a sword to search, the game crashes once the 5 second countdown ends! I've written in about it, was advised to reinstall. I did that a few times but the glitch is still there. I'm stuck at a "search the jungle" level in almost 20 quest-lines! PLEASE! FIX THIS!

Hi, I've contacted few times with same problem. I've tried several times to reinstall. Have same issues as before and other players have. Won't load..."Ben's tinkering". I had played the pioreach games years ago. Love them..until sane problem with each one. Won't load. After 2 years I thought the problem would have been dealt with. So came back to game. Lost all past info but ok now same problem! 3 star 2 next

This is the second game from popreach I have played for years. I was hoping Shipwrecked: Castaway island would not give the "Ben must be tinkering with the servers again. Please give us a few minutes and try again" pop up for days. I have tried all your methods you have shared: clear cache, force stop, uninstall nothing works. I would also like to know if there a way to access the quest lines that have expired due to lack of time and resources to complete.
