The app could use some work, very buggy or maybe too slow. It works great when it works, but whenever I use it I'm always worried it'll crash and ruin everything. Update. Location permission is very worrisome. The app keeps accessing my location without being on and when I'm not working. I've tried to get a reasonable answer to why this is happening. I've change it to only when app is opened, but that doesn't stop it from trying to access my location.

They provide fake emails, fake phone numbers, you cannot get credit for working(rejected pay), if the app crashes. It scores you for reliability as well as checking in/out at EXACTLY the minute; bc I show up to every job early,I am consistently determined and only have a 75% on time score, though I'm EARLY to nearly EVERY shift. Good luck fixing problems, as it's nearly impossible to get a human, and I've rcvd responses indicating it's my problem, and that they don't get credit/pay for fixing

As far as another source of making income this app will help you make $13 an hour. And let you create your own schedule. That's awesome. Unfortunately due to how the app is created and structured there is a lot of back-end issues like super lag load times, the whole app crashing and having to be reset while you're taking photos. But then on the other side there's also issues with getting in touch with anyone regarding issues that you have make sure to always immediately put in a ticket.

the work it's self is fun the pay is great. but the app is slow when I'm on-site and takes forever to load a pic. it works don't get me wrong. but could do without the sample picture of how a picture should be taken everytme you have to take a pic. should be an option to show it again or not. love the flexible hours and the bonuses

I've started shiftsmart in Sept 2023 and done 1 or 2 shifts a week. There's not much shifts available that worked for my availability. I've had issues with turn aways that made me not want to pick shifts no more. Then I thought give it another shot started this year 2024. They have improved and I decided to I guess work the earlier shifts they have. So far, I am doing at least 5 hrs a day. It still helps, better than nothing. But I know I can do more given more flexibility and consistency.

This app is incredibly difficult to navigate due to malfunctioning. I've been trying for an entire week to submit a background check only to receive an error message. Contacted support & was told the issue was being looked at & fixed. Next day still same issue. Haven't been able to accept any position the few that are available in my area

I appreciate shiftsmart. I really think the app is very glitchy. Sometimes you accept the shift but it doesn't show up. Also you cancel a shift and it doesn't cancel. The most frustrating part is when you do work and don't get paid for it because of the glitches in the app when trying to upload to prove that you did your work. A lot of your Circle K stores do not provide wifi. Therefore we don't have good internet connections. Most people can't afford go to work for free.

Despite updating the app settings, to reflect my availability, I'm constantly notified of shifts that I cannot work. Especially when no one has claimed a shift, or someone fails to show up, I'm harassed with text messages, urging me to take the same-day shift. I've signed up and showed up, three times, on such short notice. I wasted my time and transportation costs, all three times. The stores were not notified that I would be working, so they couldn't even allow me to clock in.

This app will slow down your phone's RAM and drain all your battery life, even when not in use. It matters not if you have unlimited data, a reliable Wi-Fi source, or flagship device. It's interface does not enable you to use it as it was designed . You WILL NOT get paid the way you anticipate or even not at all, from the reasons I just gave. Learn from this review and do not try to utilize. You will find yourself frustrated in ways you never thought possible.

I can't "verify my device" as every code sent is invalid and it only gives me the message "Code Limit Reached" so I can't even uninstall/reinstall and try again. Which I tried once, same issue. Trying to setup an account with a different phone number.... Same issue. Code limit reached. I have deleted cache, and data stored in settings. No help. Would love to try out the service but the poor app system is just not letting me do anything.

This app is always glitching with every update. Its pointless to even reach out to support half the time. I'm a premium member and can't see shifts. Last week I had access to very few shifts. This week all the shifts are far away. I haven't gotten any notifications for shift drops. And I'm just tired of being left in the dark. Can someone please help?

Just finished my first shift and so far so good. The store I worked needed things done in a different order than the task list, so I would suggest an option to change said order. Other than that things went pretty well other than the task times being unrealistic. As soon as my payment is approved I will upgrade to 5 stars. Have to say, if this works, it is a fantastic idea. Well, I got paid so here are the 5 stars, nice one y'all. Need localized shifts ( within a certain area 5 miles etc).

After the newest update I see no shifts.. rarely able to schedule anything now even as a premier member. Support is null to none. I decided to update my rating after a month or so of continuous work. The app works about 75% of the time or less buffering frequently and crashing if not managed properly. The past few times, I've reached out for assistance or support to no response from the "help" number. The only reason the rating is even a 3 is because they payout in a timely manner.

It doesn't matter how many times you restart or reset it it runs very slowly unless you are on wifi then it only runs slow not very slow. however as far as being able to get work punch in and out of work cash out the money for the work you've done and check on your rating status ( basically doing everything you need to for work) it is an amazing app and easy to use and make money. like I said at the begining it's just slow if they could fix the speed at which the app runs I would give it a 5+

Shiftsmart is a good concept. But this is what I have encountered. I went to training then I had to wait almost a week for my background before I can book a shift. So the app allow me to book four shifts. Before I was able to do the first three they took them away from me. Without no explanation no notice no nothing. I was told in training that shifts could be given away if somebody is higher in the point system then you are and that is what is happening.

I downloaded the app, and did what it asked me to do, and now there are no shifts that show up! Once I did the video for the introduction, it froze and has shown another shift. I've reached out to support, but no one seems to be able to help. I really wanted to try this, but it is becoming a hassle. The worst of it that I cannot see any shifts, and when I get an email it will take me to app and then bounce me back to the main screen. The app definitely has some bugs in it that need to be fixed.

I love it because it's easy and convenient for me, and I'm able to pick locations to work anywhere around the location. Now, the pay could be better for people who have worked over a year with this company. The app has many issues that has caused me to miss or not get paid for shifts . Need an actual working numbed or line to call when there are issues vs having to send in a email.

I still love the work but the new update is absolutely horrible for me. I say for me because I'm not sure if anyone else are having issues. I don't have the multiple selection of time slots and I have to constantly troubleshoot just to code in and out. The app is very slow and buffers to the point I'm late signing in or out. My performance scoreboard doesn't update either.

Having problems with showing up for shifts, go to check in and there isn't a shift scheduled anymore. The "manager" messaging is a joke. No one responds. Changed rating to 1 because I was deactivated from the only available project in my area and was not provided with a reason why. I was never suspended, just deactivated. And was told there was nothing they could do about it.... Disappointed.....

I was contacted about working a shift. I accepted the shift and had to confirm both the date and location because they didn't mesh up with the calendar or Google Maps. My shift never showed up in the app and I was unable to clock in for the shift. I am also unable to contact anyone with ShiftSmart through the two texting numbers which I was contacted through. I have totally lost all confidence in this "company" as more than some kind of joke or scam. Additionally, I drove an hour to get here.
