This is a great app. for coupons, special offers,gas savings viewing your weekly flyer and keeping your list handy with a feature that allows you to place items on your list into the shopping cart. The app has a few considerable drawbacks, the first being after every update it doesn't work properly and takes some effort to get it to do so. It is also prone to freezing, not accessible, or crashing (though not often on the crashing)

Annoying - have been asked to rate this app six times while using it for the last three minutes. You can't see all your clipped stuff in one list because there is only a categorized view. While the other app wasn't great, this was a step back. Too many navigation choices and way too much of almost the same thing in a slightly different views. Please put my rewards and clipped deals in ONE list. The wifi in your stores is too slow to be clicking around looking to see what that coupon was.

New version of the app is SO difficult to use for deals. Finding the weekly ad coupons feels like a treasure hunt. Definitely not "easier" as the update claims. It seems like they tried to make an app useful for ordering for pickup but none of the stores in my area offer this so I don't really see the point. If I could revert to the last version I would.

I work at shaws and I 100% agree with the users. It can very well be confusing and hard to keep track of due to the new update, but I can assure that it isn't the worst once (somehow) figured out. Most of the time, the app has an issue with a locations store WiFI, which is why I recommend for customers and users to clip your coupons before entering the supermarket. Trust me, it works better in most cases instead of rushing to clip things in the store. ❤️ Hope this helped!

The new app is terrible. It's not user friendly at all. It's confusing to try and navigate through the grocery ordering and the coupons. The search function also is not working properly. I search for "silk" because I have a free product coupon and the coupon doesn't come up. I change the bar on top to "deals" and the coupon still doesn't appear. Talking to a lot of other people too, we all just want the old app back!! You should make a separate one for the people who want to order groceries.

This used to be a REALLY great app. But ever since the last upgrade you can't add items to your list from the circular. You used to be able to click on an item in the digital sales flyer to add it to you shopping list in the app for easier shopping. Now the option is gone and it just shows details of all the other items on the page. I'm back to using a paper flyer, circling the items I want and using that to shop. Very inconvenient.

In the very beginning I liked this app. You could tap on an item in the flyer and it would go on your list. Then that changed. Wasn't happy with it but continued. Then the app changed this time and it's horrible! Very unuser-friendly. It is easier to use my laptop. What a pain. I don't like having to sign in every time. The glitches have already gone on too long. Fix please.

If used correctly, this app can save you money. Unfortunately, I have to really stop and watch the screen to make sure all the discounts have been applied. The last time, i tried using rewards and the "clipped" 2 didnt work in their system so i had to ask the checker, who had to manually enter in the $7 off. There have been other times where a product is supposed to ring up as $2.99 and its ringing up $3.99.

They really destroyed what was a decent app! Now it practically forces you into using it for shopping online. They made it very challenging to just clip coupons, see the weekly ad or check rewards balance. Every time I start it, it defaults to a store 3 hours from me instead of the one near me. I keep changing it, but it keeps reverting back to the far away one every time. Please go back to the old version.

10/16/21-Please stop updating your app until you have developers who are actually competent. Every time there is an update the app does not function and it takes weeks for you to figure it out. So frustrating! Finally, able to get into the app and now it gives me a message that they are having trouble with their system. It has been like this for days! Nothing wrong with the old app. Bad timing Shaws, Hannaford has just launched theirs that WORKS, and are giving away free groceries with it too!

Previous version of app was fine. Newest version is trying too hard to fix something that wasn't broken. Unintuitive. Too many menu bars and options per screen. Constantly scrolling through menu bars and drop down lists just to find what I want. I'm sure 9 out of 10 people just want to see what this weeks deals are by category and their rewards balance. Searching in "Browse" lists EVERYTHING in the supermarket. I just want to see what's on sale this week.

You should make it easier to save coupons. Allow people to choose all or entire categories, like all veggies with 1 click. It's two time consuming to go through every single item one at a time.. You could do them by categories, meats, veggies, paper, goods, condiments, etc etc. I realize that you're trying to get some mapping done on people's favorite brands, but you know what people just aren't using the app because it's too time consuming. So you you think you're winning the war but not.

The new update is terrible. I don't care about delivery and didn't need it on my app. You've changed the look, feel and functionality of the app. One problem with the old app was having to add items, then apply them at that purchase. If I add an item obviously I want to use it. Fyi, the stores never have your free items or sat freebies..it's just a bait and switch.... very disappointing

. No add all button. It is maddening to look through page after page. What a waste of time. Jan 2019, it's still awful. Email indicates there are dollars off coupons. When you navigate from the email to the web page it does not take you directly to the coupons mentioned. And then you cannot find them. And opening the app is also useless, you can not find them there. Searching for coupons is a mess. There is now "show me everything I havent added yet category.

What happened to lists? The most basic of functions - and it used to be in here. It's on the website, but doesn't sync to the app (but the cart does). And I can't click on something in the flyer to even put it in the cart (and pretend that's a list). And yeah, the navigation to find deals has also taken a step back. I can't do pickup from my local store, so I planned to go there for the first time in months... Using the app to make things fast. Guess not.

Since the update took place, I haven't had all the problems that other people are discribing. This is one of the better supermarket apps, where the coupons are broken down into categories and not all bunched together like Stop & Shop. Where you have to go through every single coupon, with no sense organization. At least here, there's some sense of order. As far as delivery or pick-up orders go. That is a feature I have used a few times, and it is quite convenient. I really like it.

Great customer service, wonderful selection of food, NOT THE BEST PRODUCE. Make sure to always check dates I see things on the shelf expired months ago. I do say something if I see something expired. Hopefully, that helps. It does look a lot nicer too the remodeling took time, but it's great inside. Thank you for all the workers that keep the store running without you. There would be few places to shop for food. keep smiling and have a great day.

Doesn't work. I downloaded this app to access a digital coupon being advertised in store. Created and verified an account, etc., but when it asked for my location, I let it access it automatically - while standing in the middle of Shaw's! - and received the error "service not available in your location". Tried entering a different zip code for another Shaw's store, same error. It won't let me do anything else with the app - the "Deals" part - because of this error. Ergo, it doesn't work.

There is a bug when attempting to check out groceries where they will sometimes ask you to confirm your payment information again (CVV and Zip), but the accept button will not highlight. You have to close the app for a while and hit confirm without adjusting delivery instructions or driver tip to sneak around this error. I have lost my desired delivery window multiple times as a result of this bug. Will happily increase to 5 stars if this is fixed.

Slow load times when adding items to cart. Can't add items too quickly and the items load very slowly. When trying to update my payment method it will not recognize or accept changes and after attempting to change things I can no longer purchase groceries for pick up unless I restart my entire cart. Very disappointed. The more updates the worse it gets. There is no way to report errors or speak to anyone about these issues. It's been months... the app is awful. No change.
