This game is a wonderful game It has a good story but one downside is the story isn't very engaging. It has wonderful gameplay and fighting mechanics as every weapon requires different strategy and most require different fighting style. The game is fun and the bosses don't get boring due to their unique weapons and fighting styles. Sadly, unlike the free version, there isn't anything to do after beating the story. Something to do after beating the game would be nice.

Easily the best mobile game ever created, hands down. So many people get so impatient with this game that they look over the major details. It's 5 bucks for a game that takes over a month to complete. The story is fantastic and actually shocked me when unexpected animations popped up, the art is incredible, the gameplay is phenomenal. Not much to say except... please. Make your final boss a bit easier to beat? I keep getting slapped around and I'm on the verge of tears lol

Shadow Fight 2 is great, don't get me wrong, but for many people, getting past old wounds, is complete hell. Lynx's attacks are too heavy, and the gear you're FORCED to use sucks a lot. If you haven't played a mobile fighting game (such as this) or aren't any good, then play something else. I wanted to break my phone and/or give up on this game several times during that particular fight.

Overall excellent game, despite what other reviews say it is often challenging but manageable. The only problem I have with this game is Titan. He's broken, both in that he's massively overpowered, and that his moves don't function correctly. His grab move grabs you while it's retracting, sometimes he just chooses not to have a hurtbox, other times he just decides that he doesn't take hitstun and grabs you mid combo. He also just gets to regain his whole hp bar by hitting you once. Terrible boss

So, so close to perfection. The special version of Shadow Fight 2 is just better in every way to the normal version... Except for the fact that the free version has MORE CONTENT! How is that possible? How is the paid version of the game the one you would prefer the least??? The content that is in the game already is amazing, and the story is great, but it's so frustrating when you realize you should've went with the free version instead of the paid version. It's just dissapointing.

I like it. It really isn't a pay-to win type of game anymore. Its got good rewards, a fun story and a bit extra. I just don't understand why it doesn't have eclipse mode, or atleast allow us to enchant in a different way. Its so hard just to beat them the second time cause of just unenchanted gear. I can have the best weapons available to me and still get beat easily

Playing this for a few days with play pass and eh. First, when it went to playpass it seems to no longer have a store to "buy" credits. Well fine. But the controls and hits are so laggy. I spent more then a few matches over a minute in with no hits either side. I would have loved to see this with controller support. May have made it a bit better, but i doubt it.

This game has been, overall well. Im glad that the progress doesnt effect the progress on the free version, which would be a cool idea to be given a choice on whether you want it to or not. Although there is occasional freezing mid-game that messes with my fight. Another thing is that the loading when you transition to your arsenal or start a fight, takes a good amount of time for me (which means it is taking longer than expected). Other than those two problems, it is a great game.

It was all fine and dandy up until the Gates of Shadows. When in the original you'd have been able to enchant your gear to help ensure you could win. The enemies are still balanced to that. In this version of the game, enchanting is not a thing, but the enemies are not rebalanced, making the challenge of defeating all six demons in a row with random Challenge mode effects nigh impossible. Essentially, the game desperately needs to be rebalanced for the lack of enchantments and eclipse mode.

I enjoy the game I think that its style and fluidity are great especially for a fighting game on a phone. However, it has extreme faults. One, the hit detection is absolutely atrocious. For each fight, there are at LEAST 5 hits that are total bs or don't register when it's clearly a hit. Also, many of the bosses (Especially Titan) have an huge advantage or a stupid amount of health that just makes the game unfair. I understand difficulty and I welcome it, but it's at a point of being stupid.

Game sucks. The animations for your character take longer than opponents, giving them more time to counter and react. The hit box is almost completely arbitrary (missing on hits and hitting on others almost at random). The move set activates infrequently and the new moves you gain take too long to pull off (if you can activate them at all). Coupled with a game play that is just grinding to get more strength/ health just to face stronger tough characters with no difference, it's dull.

Absolutely a great game if you have a lot of free time, it is grindy of a game and you may get stuck on some boss fights, but you also somehow always manage to beat them one way or another which feels absolutely SATISFYING. Only problem i found is that after completing the whole game there isn't anything else for me to do like, i beat Titan then what else? I can't repeat any boss fights or tournaments again it's just, done. Only two things i can do now, play survival mode or challenges every 3h

Completely removes the entire online system, and the ability to enchant weapons, and replaces it with 15 levels that are identicle to the normal levels and don't add anything to the plot or game. When I pay for a "special edition" of a game, I think of a normal version of the game with some extra content, not a version with more content removed than added. The only saving graces are being slightly less pay to win, and the improves sound design, but those hardly make up for the faults. Bad remake

For some reason, SF2SE lacks some of the features of the normal edition, such as eclipse mode and enchanting. I've only gotten to the Hermit fight so far, but for some reason, it was way harder than the non-special edition - quite unfair, and impossible difficulty despite having the best gear I could have at the time. The game eliminates many of the microtransactions, which is nice, but unfortunately it seems there is no "perfect" way to play Shadow Fight 2.

I really, really love the concept of this game. But that doesn't change the fact it's falsely advertised. I bought the special edition for everything listed, not just free gems and infinite energy. You were supposed to be able to keep your customization and preferred weapons throughout the game, but because enchantments have a "falloff" as you level up, weapons and armor with enchantments quickly become inferior.. Without the ability to manually enchant. Please, fix this.

The game is alright, it's mostly the same as shadow fight 2 (free version) except it's missing some stuff that makes shadow fight fun, and that is enchantments and the eclipse mode. The game is easy, which its fine on some parts like less grinding, practice on getting good on the game and now trying out all the weapons you really wished you wanted to use when you played the free version, but.. for a skilled player, it kinda boring, and that's what I'm feeling on some parts on the game, this would be fix by adding eclipse mode. No multiplayer, don't mind at all really, it will be unfair anyways so I understand why theres no multiplayer. Not many major bugs, so far what I experience is some items like the sphere that you get when you finish a boss won't show up, like I said nothing major. The question is should you buy it? If you in it for easy gameplay, no wifi needed and extra storytelling, yes go for it. If you don't care about the extra story and want a challenge, multiplayer and enchantments, just buy unlimited lifes on shadow fight 2 (free version) because it's the only option for right now.

I do like this game and this version is worth the price... however I do have problems with it. Certain things were removed from the free version but the game wasn't balanced to make up for the changes. Example after completing the tourney and challenges in all areas there isn't a way to make significant progress your level. You also can't enchant your equipment. Both of these make the final gauntlet frustrating at best. The game isn't bad I just wish nekki had taken a little time to balance more

This game feels unfinished, and is ultimately a shallow game, despite having features that would do well in a full game. Graphics aren't bad, although the fighters are just a shadow, and the fighting animations are good. That said, once you've been through a few fights you realize this is all there is, no minigames or anything else to keep you interested. The armor/weapons aren't interesting and you simply upgrade them to make your fights slightly easier as the difficulty scales up, repetitive.

Been playing for years, don't know if there was ever a shadow fighter 1 but I've played 2,3, and now 4. Playing 4 and coming back to 2 is a shock to the system. The button layout could b bigger. The hit box when fighting could be better, there's times wen im doing a combo and a person bounces off the wall and now I can't touch them but my animation still plays out so my opponent jus cracks me in the face. At the end of the day it's good for wat it is and 4 is great.

It is a blast and I genuinely really love it and am very close to beating it. However, I'm kinda disappointed that the non special addition one has more work in it that this one doesn't have. I'm very tempted to just get the non special one and then pay for no ads so I can play all the extra content that this one doesn't even have. If you can just do the bare minimum of moving events to this one, that would be awesome. But otherwise you're restricting us to pay more for the other one.
