I supported this game when it was in kickstarter. It was great then, and now coming back years later, it's even better. 👍Loving the campaign mode! Also there is no pay to win and they are very generous with rewards. A model example of how companies should operate their business, especially with the money hungry mobile apps running rampant in the app store. You can tell the developers care about the experience of the players and are constantly updating the game with new features and content.

I stopped playing this game after only having played for a short time but forgot why. Then i decided to play campaign to re-familiarize myself with the cards and rules etc. Well, campaign is un-freakin-playable because the code is so trash that it takes X amount of time for the AI to make a move. X equals about 10 seconds for EACH card on the battlefield. AND they just added a major update to the game. UPDATE YOUR CODE PLEASE! Everything else about the game is FIVE STARS

Great Game. I'm new to such games so it took about a week for me to find my flow. I am addicted now. I have to set aside hours to play. I love it! While is easier to spend real money to get cards faster... it is absolutely not necessary. I enjoy bathing ought people. I learn strategy and how cards work by playing others. I could go on and on fordays about how awesome this game is! I tell everyone i know about it.

So far it's not really enjoyable. You can only do so much in campaign before getting stuck. Cannot really progress unless you buy more cards to become competitive. Rank is kinda unless unless you have decent cards. The system pairs you with someone who will dominate the field. It is not beginner friendly unless you spend money. This game is probably God enough to pass time. Will update if game improves.

I've been looking for a ccg to replace Magic ever since I stopped playing the old windows so version of the game. I hadn't been impressed with any of my options this far until I found this game. For a freemium game, it's not too grabby, the mechanics--while they take some getting used to--are solid, and the variety is enjoyable. My only real wish would be a skirmish mode with random AI decks, and I'd be willing to pay for full offline availability. That said, this is the best option.

Overall a great game with solid gameplay that never gets old. The art is all original and unique to the game. Wish there was an option for multiple players to battle. But the intense combat system makes up for it and makes me keep coming back for more!!! It would be nice however if you guys could add some more sound effects.

Great card game. Been great so far, did find one issue using Zaladar. The two star campaign mission for the rouge on the first area will not let me finish it, the AI will just do nothing.. played it a bunch and every single time the turn before I am going to win they simply do nothing... I can hear the game make sounds when I click on stuff so it is not frozen, thats why I put 4 stars and not 5.

People who like MTG will probably enjoy this game. It's very similar, with the exception that land is abandoned in favor of resources, which are gained by sacrificing card. This sacrifices one layer of strategy for another. Taking a star off for an occasional bug that causes the attack animation to play on loop, and extra damage to be done. I've lost a couple games due to this bug making me take more than 10 damage when I should've taken 1.

As a card game it's good but the overall quality of life is not up to par. The filter to search for cards doesn't include the description text, so you must know the exact name of the card. It would be nice to have an actual in depth tutorial because it feels like a waste of time going in with no knowledge and just losing. The free to play aspect of the game is okay, my reasoning for that is because you can individually buy cards with gold, but to get gold you must win, but when you lose, you get nothing besides experience. It's frustrating because games are about 10 mins and if you lose, you basically get nothing from it. I suggest at least getting half or a quarter of the gold you would earn from a win.

Very easy to get the hang of. Beautiful artwork and attention to detail. I have been searching for a ccg like this for a long time and finaly found it. Thank you. My only issue is the uneven matchups in multiplayer. I have never been matched against anyone whom was a begginer as i am, instead i am matched against players that can and do distroy me within 7 turns. Please match players within their rank so that they are able to grow, progress and enjoy this aspect of gameplay.

It needs a way to remove the animations and make gameplay faster. Otherwise, quite excellently balanced, if one has doubts about the usefulness of a character, check the forums. Also it is most frustrating that I can't test any decks without buying cards, if there was a test stage against a dumb AI for any deck, that would be great.

It's alright. I can't seem to get the pace of play to stay consistent. The animations are so slow and when I adjust the slider it doesn't seem to do anything, sometimes if I put it on the slowest setting is when it seems to go the fastest. It needs an automatic stop for using cards as resources because when I'm at 7 I don't really need to sacrifice anymore cards

I first started playing this game four years ago on Android. It was clearly P2W even then, and nothing has changed. Spent some money on it, but got no responses from devs concerning the wifi disconnect issues that continously cause me to lose ranked matches. It has been three years now and those issues continue to persist dsspite me changing my phone, ISP, home network equipment and more. The devs don't seem to pay much heed to issues or concerns from their customers, its just about that $$$$.

I've altered my review; I used to love this as game when it first came out. It was easy to level up, easy to get crystals and gold. But now as a I return after quitting because the updates started making getting cards without paying harder, I find that it's the same and my old deck cant stand up to any of the newer cards/decks. Was a promising game it's ashame the money corrupted it.

Overall it's a well designed game, and it seems balanced. The only complaint I have is that as a free player, it takes alot of grinding to get booster packs. Each game takes between 10 and 15 minutes typically, and after the first couple of levels it takes dozens of them to get a level, which only amounts to 1/4 of a new booster pack. It's hard to get into multiplayer (which rewards better) when I still don't have a decent collection of cards to experiment with.

I really like this CCG, it shows that they can be just as great as their physical counter-parts. I would buy physical packs/decks for this if I could. I really like the meltdown draft system, and if there were a couple extra gameplay styles it would be perfect. For a mobile CCG, still have to give it a perfect 8/10, coming from a free player. If I had a little bit of money to spend on Shadow Crystals it'd probably be 10/10. Still awesome Edit: I did, it is. Can't wait to catch up

I have been a long time MTG fan, but have always been apprehensive of digital TCGs. This one has definitely been enjoyable without being needlessly complicated, and it is relatively easy to progress without paying a single penny. My only problem would be that I have not seen any news about further expansions, and the card type requirements (in correlation to your chosen hero) could be explained better for new players so as to keep them from wasting their first set of purchases. 2021: still fun!

Overall a very good trading card game. The fall backs that i have noticed are the mechanics of the end step. When you have nothing left to do you still have to hit end turn. I especially like that you can earn various items to build your deck without having to spend money. Update: not the same game. Much harder than before. Still an amusing waste of time

Not only is the support staff shady in the event of an issue involving shadow crystals (real money), every time your app updates I have to reset my password. I'm writing it off now before I spend any more money. There are other games like this that are more reliable. Edit: This time your system is telling me my account doesn't exist... EDIT: been trying on and off since 2013, 10 Yrs later it let me log in. Last crystal purchase was never delivered, but it did save my cards, now crashes mid game.

Good game. Been playing on and off since it was new. Has a great free model, very fun even with limited cards, and there is a decent community playing. Watch the recent tournaments on YouTube to get a good feel for how it plays, this one is a lot slower than most cars games and has come from behind mechanics which helps you recover from a bad start. Could use better AI for those times when network isn't available, but overall it's fun.
