Made a purchase two weeks ago. Spending power was $220 last week. I checked the app today and it says I have $10 spending power. I literally haven't done anything since the first purchase. It doesn't make sense that it would drop that drastically. Especially after a week of no activity. The replies about the spending power changing for "multiple reasons" are complete bs. No explanation or notice either. Good thing I only needed it for the one purchase. Probably won't use it again anyway.

Have had zero issues with Sezzle. A little odd that your available balance can change based on store, but I appreciate that they are upfront about your available balance (unlike apps like Four). I also appreciate that a missed subscription payment by one day doesn't ruin your option to use the virtual card or drop your $2,500 credit limit to $50 (unlike AfterPay). Sezzle is more flexible, upfront, and convenient than the other pay-in-four apps, who all seem to be getting worse.

For $18 a month you get a virtual visa to use anywhere. Unfortunately, when it's time to pay back what you borrow Sezzle will charge a convenience fee to your debit card. This is in an amount up to $5 for every payment you make. The only way to avoid fees is to pay with your bank account. I have afterpay, zip pay, four, and affirm, none of which charge my debit card just to pay. Zip pay is also an anywhere virtual card and doesn't require a monthly fee. Sezzle charges a lot for the worst service

Error after error after error. And when you THINK you've gotten past it, it just spins. Can't even use it because it won't connect to my bank. Have tried multiple times. And Support seems to not exist. Been waiting for almost 12 hrs for a response. Trust me, I get it. I work in Support, too. But you SLAs for a 'conversation' are obviously ridiculous if it takes hours to get a response.

Normally the app is great but rn there's a two step confirmation code thing going on and it's stuck on the screen where I put the code sent to my phone in. There is no enter button. So I put the code in that was just texted to me and nothing happens. UPDATE: I've closed my account. Can't even use it at Target anymore with 'leveling up' and adding Premium ($13 a month) or Sezzle Anywhere ($13 a month). Both are a waste of money.

At first I thought it was pretty amazing that they do allow anybody for the buy now, pay later and and then in four payments. However, I they couldn't considerably said that paying through ACH through your bank is the best way in actuality. It's not. It's more complicated and takes up to four business days at the least for a processing payment to go through, and while it's in processing, you're not allowed to use any more spending power. I didn't. I guess that is the catch to this

Sezzle started out good. There were actually stores you could purchase from that were not part of the premium plan where you have to pay a monthly fee. My spend limit was always increasing. Then I did a carters purchase and they charged me 3 times for it and wouldn't provide a refund. I was forced to use 3 times the amount than I actually needed at Carters. Poor customer service too. There are better pay in 4 services out there. I also noticed my spending limit decreased even though I've paid.

Out of all the other apps you buy, then pay back in 4 payments interest free, Sezzle is the best app to use. When you become a member of Sezzle, you can use your virtual card almost anywhere. The more you buy and then pay off, the more your limit will increase. You can also have the option to add your personal information, and your payment history will report to the major credit bureaus to help build credit. I highly recommend Sezzle, buy now pay later.

I tried to make an early payment and used the wrong card which caused a payment failed notification. Couldnt find the new card so I thought I'll just schedule it with checking and maybe it'll clear the notification. It did not. So now I can't use sezzle despite having Premium until this message clears (after the payment clears). This needs to be fixed. That payment was not due yet and this was an attempt at paying a future payment early. Eddie in cs was useless may as well been a bot.

Very useful for shopping with a limited budget. Especially helpful when trying to get higher priced items but are not able to afford paying for it in a lump sum all at once. I obtain expensive items I really want by using sizzle and it makes it far easier for me to pay for the item in four separate payments over 2 months versus all at once.

Please add options for payments to be collected only on certain days of the week, like Klarna. That would be great. Also, remove the "too many attempts" I've been locked out of my account for a while now. Also getting internal error after trying to connect my account through Plaid. So I have to resort to verifying it the long way.

Horrible app! A scam and a waste of money! I guess these BNPL apps are starting to charge for shopping at Amazon, target, Lowe's, and somehow temu by making u join a subscription plan for $12.99 a month u can only use 6 times a year when you do the math. It crashes constantly and sends me back to home screen where I have to reenter my login info back into the store I'm shopping at constantly. The premium features don't make it worth getting and not canceling it after each use. Waste of money...

Too expensive was my reply::::the reply back doesn't fix the fact that it's very expensive to use . The stores that are available for 4 payments are not many or ones that I've never heard of. And there is a fee to pay when you pay with credit card instead. Paying $12.99 -$17.99 monthly if use brand stores and paying $1.50 for payment made with credit card. 😀

I looked at my account and they are charging me $5 failed payment fee on top of $4.50 transaction convince fee and on top of the monthly subscription. I don't understand the failed payment fee on everything transaction that are showing paid? I got hit with a total of $20 on failed transaction fee on every purchase. The total I got charged $45+ on 5 different purchases on top of their subscription. I am cancelling once done paying them. There is better apps out here with less fees. STAY AWAY..

EDIT: DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THIS APP. ESPECIALLY DO NOT ADD IT TO YOUR CREDIT. Once you have no active purchases, it will trash your credit. I emailed Sezzle at the email address they provided in their response below, three times. My initial issue was that after providing me a beginning $200 spending limit, with no missed payments, all completed early or on time, with the last payment on any order my limit was reduced, to $50, while paying $13/month for Sezzle Premium! It just got worse. No.

Just trying to reach out and get some help from a customer service is impossible! Also my spending power keeps going up and Everytime I try and use it to make payments it's never available. What I am trying to make payments on is well under my available balance also I have enough money in my account to pay in full if needed. I like the idea of payments one of the reasons I joined Sezzle for the payment option. I made many purchases and paid in full. I would just like to use payment option.

I needed help rescheduling 2 payments. They rescheduled everything and won't undo it, making me now have to pay off my entire account b4 I can use it again. They also didn't offer a cancelation option for the Anywhere membership when the payment failed on it, which meant when money hit my account again, they sucked a payment out, then wouldn't refund that either. (Even though I couldn't cancel because it acted like I wasn't a member since the payment failed.) They don't fix what they screw up.

Honestly love using this, but ever since the premium add on (which I'm not happy about either but I get why it might be needed) I've had nothing but more problems, things not working, more steps to use Amazon or online, and anywhere glitching out constantly. Used to be so easy to pay and go and now it's a bunch of added steps that are malfunctioning and glitching. Don't fix what ain't broke sezzle HELL even if try to GET "Anywhere" it won't let me check on it, or click on join or anything.

If this app wasn't constantly changing policies and how it functions, it would be better. They charge fees on fees on fees now. This didn't used to be the case. They now charge a "convenience fee" to use a debit card. Nothing convenient about that. I've never been late so the late charges don't affect me but be careful. This app could get you in lots of trouble. It also doesn't report Sezzle Up monthly like it should. I paid it off last month. They didn't report it and my credit didn't change..

So far no complaints. Hopefully, it will stay this way. Update- 6-7-24. Not sure why every time for the past month I'm being told my payment has expired and needs to be updated. Annoying especially since when I attempt to re-enter my information (BTW has not expired) I can not due to the fact that it's not loading. Taking back 2 stars until this is resolved.
