Here's how to fix what everyone is complaining about. You need to have an on device database cache. The app runs off this cache, not the server. The on device database cache is filled from the server, AND user input. This allows the app to be used when wifi/cell connections are down/poor (credit card processing and invoice won't complete until a server connection is made, but the data is there in the device db cache). When a good connection is established app updates the server.. etc..

My biggest complaint is that there is no option to toggle off the nuisance time stamps that are applied by any status change. My techs also have issues with notes being randomly deleted. I have made several attempts to contact SF about suggestions to make the field app better to no avail.

Service fusion web software is good. The app however is terrible. It's hit or miss if your uploaded notes or photos actually upload, does not work at all without service so if you rely on this for location mapping good luck, app is slow and buggy. And the app is ugly. Can't hire a decent UI designer?

Service Fusion is clunky, doesn't remain open or active in memory requiring you relaunch the app and search for info over and over even when the app is locked open. The UI looks nice but lacks functionality and accessibility. The search function is not intelligent, requiring exact spelling and punctuation. The worst part is it always requires an internet connection - so it's not a feasible field app you can rely on. and the photo capture and upload limitations slows it right down.

THIS IS NOT A MOBLE BASED APP. This program works well on a computer but the mobile capabilities are aweful. It take way too long to load anything because there is no offline functionality what so ever. To load anything in the app it needs to communicate with SF server so if your connection isn't a 4G or LTE connection your phone will time out before the app loads. We have been using this program for about a year now and the only good thing about it is the price, Its cheap.

I have been using this app for a few years it started out working fine and over the years I started having issues as other have been having I personally don't think it's the devices I have several models of devices and most are only a few months old all my crews no matter what device the are slow and I have lost data and pictures from time to time. It seams as time went on service issues become greater. It also will not work off line it also says it has no connection when device has 5GUC

This app gets a star so I can write this review. The most frustrating part of my job is using service fusion. If you don't have good service or Wi-Fi where you are it doesn't work at all. You can't add notes, add items to the invoice, search your inventory for parts, add photos, and pretty much anything else you rely on this app to do. is it really that difficult to make it so that we can at least add notes and photos to the work order and let the app update once we have better wireless signal?

For a tech, it's ok; owner/supervisor, it sucks. You cannot do much as a manager. Wouldn't be bad if desktop version was mobile friendly. This is very frustrating as an owner/manager because I have to wait to go into my office if I have to do anything deeper than just run calls. There should be a robust manager version so we manage from the field with the same functions as the office. It doesn't work at all without a signal. Would be nice to still work then upload when signal returns.

I'd give more stars but it's doing some super annoying thing where I'll be in the middle of a text, email, whatever and it just pops up on screen as if I opened it. I believe it's because I've blocked it fr getting my location and when it tried it takes over the screen? Not sure but it does the same thing to another as well so it's not my device. Fix this I'll give you 5 stars because it works pretty good for our company. Other than that and it's annoying enough I want to cancel service

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Any images, when uploaded through the app, get reduced to the worst quality imaginable. This is extremely frustrating when trying to upload asset tags and really just pictures of anything. It isn't something that Service Fusion seems to be interested in rectifying, and the suggested workaround is a joke considering where technology is in 2023. The app itself is pretty buggy and gets hung up a lot where it'll appear frozen. I could go on and on . .

The execution is OK. The cost is high. The features of app and back end are good and what you need to run a team of field reps. The initial setup took weeks. Offline access would be a big improvement. The credit card rates are much higher then the sales rep promised. I was told 2.9% or less and that's what I was paying before using Service Fusion. I now pay nearly 5% on card fees. That frankly chaps my backside. I hate being lied to. There is nothing that ticks me off more the a dishonest sale.

Myself and my team (14) have been using this app for at least 5 years. It has one glaring downfall. Since it is a web based app if you dont have a good internet connection time entries, and info uploads often do not register. It has gotten worse since 5g came to our area. We use paper logs for backup. If a phone based app is not developed, we will be looking at other options.

JOIN "Service Fusion Users group" on FB to see what issues this software may impose on your buisness before you jump in. Especially the integration with quickbooks and offline functionality. Take note of the responses by Service Fusion. Also, imagine a field app where you can't search the database by equipment model number. You can't search or filter the daily schedule by the technician's ID. The search function (or lack thereof) is infuriating.

I have been using this app for over 2yrs with our Electric, AC, and Irrigation divisions. When building estimates and adding new line items you cant "Go back" to the previous screens. It sends you back to the main menu. Poor App navigation. Needs to be more fluid and easier to navigate. Adding before and after pictures is a JOKE! If you are the decision maker for your company STAY AWAY from service fusion. Look into other apps before wasting your TIME & money on this app!...

Takes forever to upload in the field. A lot of times it doesn't upload at all. Map feature always come up with a white screen. Picture upload times have increased. Would be nice to have a daily hours worked instead of just an in and out time. These issues started with the March update except for the not uploading at all. That's been a consistent thing since I 1st started using this app in mid 2018.

It is extremely slow at times. Every time you click a button it needs to load, not fluid. If your in a bad cell area it doesn't always record what you input. I also have a lot of times were it doesn't upload pictures, doesn't change job status always. I'll have mo time logged in a job because it was not able to change from on my way to onsite due to cell coverage.

Cannot upload photos either anymore. Really annoying. I have the same issue with pictures loading if my reception area is bad. I took 32 photos at a job site yesterday and because of bad reception the app glitched and erased all photos taken. This is starting to get really annoying, really fast, and our company has been using this app for a while now..

This app is a hindrance to hood efficient work. It has so many issues I can't list them here. Just to name a few- low operating speed (on a brand new s24+), unreliable saving(type out an entire diagnostic or completion notes for them to not upload), that goes double for the pictures, it absolutely eats battery, and it can't be used AT ALL if you don't have service. Let's not forget the pro version price tag. This app is a problem not a solution.

I can always count on an unenjoyable experience when I use this app. Slow, buggy, annoying, and an unintuitave UI make this app an abominable nuisance to use. Can't even create forms, and you have to use notes to make them. Will not ever recommend to a field worker.

The app sucks. It loses pictures if you take within the app, has absolutely no offline support, takes several minutes to load, even on wifi, and is quite buggy. It lacks features that are needed like decent calendar views, notifications, hiding of unassigned appointments, deletion and editing of tasks, and good views for supervising other employees, and the UI is not user friendly.
