The new updated site is awful and I dont like it. Before, we had the quick balance inquiry tool we could use to see our balance without having to log all the way on. That option is now gone. And to make matters worse - once I log in (if im able to login) I get booted out of the app repeatedly. Also tried to upload a mobile check capture - before NEVER an issue - now it was IMPOSSIBLE! Ultimately I gave up. With that being said, I now give up on Serve. Thnx for the "good" 10 yrs I did have. Ugh

After years, Your new app is the worst "update" ever. I need a new card, new app is the worst to navigate, doesnt have every available tab, doesnt allow quick balance, doesnt allow change of address, and puts me on phone with computer or 87 min hold for personnel. just return to the previous. not for my lack of knowledge in tech or even my bias, but simply because it worked whereas now, im considering a new card. Cant find lost/stolen link. Current card doesnt read and has broke at strip

Won't let u go to the notification settings, it just bumps u back to logging in. I have been with serve for many many years, also have 3 sub accounts for my family and they can't even log into their accounts. These are not good updates. Cant quick look at ur balance any longer. Wants the email reverified but doesn't send link to email. Horrible updates! Like the old version much better!!

It's horrible! Since I've gotten it I've only been able to access it about 3 times, I've had it for about a month and a half and I've never seen an app that is "down" or temporarily unavailable so much in my life! Talk about frustrating!! It would be nice if we could log on once in awhile and check our accounts. Maybe get an IT department 🤷🏼‍♀️🤬

I've had an account for many years. The last update removed functions I liked (quick balance, for example) and most times won't log in. To view my balance while at the store, before swiping, I now have to log in from internet. I uninstalled app and haven't used it in a couple months. Not happy. May end up withdrawing all my money and closing account.

The new app is very poorly programmed. Using the back button should take you back a page. Instead, the new app redesign has the back button mapped to exit the app. If you view the details of a transaction and then want to go back to the transaction list, you would normally hit back. Now, the app prompts you to exit upon hitting back. It feels like it was poorly ported functionality from an iOS build since they don't have a "back" function like Android.

Worse then the previous version. Keeps on crashing and connection fails. Difference with the old app is that it is all in a different spot and a bit more flashy. Wished they had spend more time on quality. Also since the update direct deposita don't come at the same time of day anymore. Sometimes a day later. I can see through work when ACH sends files. They are send to Amex. They just don't process.

App was just fine until the last update. Now I often have to sign in twice, because it ALWAYS crashes on the first attempt. It's also gotten more difficult to navigate through. Getting to my rainy day account use to be much easier. In this case I think you guys should actually go backwards. Cause unfortunately going forward is making things much worse. Although, you'd think the opposite. Smh Please get it together guys!

Photo check deposits only work about 60% of the time. App will initially accept the images, then cease and say the images suddenly aren't good enough. App will also randomly close, and disable fingerprint login at its own choosing. This is an incredibly poorly designed app, with even poorer customer support staff. The fact that you pay for this service, and these are the results. Mediocre at best.

I reinstalled this app just so I could give it 1 star. I have Amex Bluebird also. The fingerprint feature is not working in either app! I spoke to a live person and they had the audacity to suggest that it was my device that was malfunctioning. My phone is brand new!! Listen to your customers and fix this glitch! We can't all be wrong about this feature not working!

Why would you change, your app was working wonderful. Just couldn't transfer money to my linked bank account. Now I can get instant account amounts. The set alert tab isn't working either. Didn't keep my settings from the other app and the display looks complicated. If I wanted to view my savings account I'd just leave my money at home. That makes a person want to spend it. No way to have a sub/ savings account.

I've been using serve for almost a decade and it's hard to say but I'm finally done with the service. The only reason why I am leaving is because of the updated app that rolled out months ago. The layout is unitive and bulky features that I used daily were removed, and i certainly don't want my name displayed in giant font for anyone to read from ten feet away. The old system was lean, modern and functional. After trying to deal with the change for months, I'm done.

If I could give negative -5 stars I would!! This app DOES NOT WORK I've been patient and working with it for about three weeks now, STILL DOESNT WORK! Why give people an update for an app that doesn't work??! The last one worked and looked fine!! I loved that all I had to do was slide to check my balance. Now I've been forced to change my password FOUR TIMES and it STILL DOESNT WORK and the lady had me on the phone for 30 minutes, and was annoyed the whole time. Not helpful!

AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!! There is absolutely no way to talk to a live person if you have a question or problem. It's the same recorded message on all lines, regardless as to which one you try. I was expecting a direct deposit on a certain date, and when it didn't happen, I tried to reach someone to see if there was a error. There was, which is still uncorrected. They've posted the wrong bank routing number, not only on their recordings, but on accounts as well.

For the most part the app has improved greatly. My only issue when using biometric, once you have logged out it immediately brings the login up to enter the app. I close it out but the next time I attempt to access my account the biometric is no longer an option. You have to go back into the settings. Please update once logged out it does not immediately want to log me back in. There only needs to be a "log in" button then the biometrics. Really frustrating!

Return to the old version. The new version is not as user friendly. Cannot find any information concerning savings accounts. Navigating the site is not as easy. Sometimes I would be bumped from the log on. Usually the third log on is successful. I have not notice any new features in the new version. When asking for a one-time passcode via E-mail; it never arrived. After several attempts I never received my passcode. As of yet I am unable to log in. I realize this is not the norm. However, there are problems with the new version.

Cannot load money -- Never had an issue until about a week ago. It gives error message, 'try back later' when trying to add money. Both the app and website. I've tried my phone, tablet and computer. Evidently since an update, a lot of people have been having issues. Hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise I will have to find a different prepaid card. It's no good if one cannot add money to the card.

The old app worked fine. This redesign does not work at all. Down for a week? Unprofessional. I have been unable to log in for 1 week now. I sat on hold for 40 minutes with no answer. I hung up. I can get on the website via my laptop, but not the app. Very poor rollout. An older version should be put in place if something like this happens. Not cool, AmEx. Very angry at this.

I can no longer recommend this product. All of the features it states you have to control your account and subaccounts don't work. You can't make changes to your sub's address and phone, can't order replacement cards, etc. Neither on the app or on the computer. Customer support is all push button. If you are fortunate enough to contract a human, you get disconnected. I have used this app for years and it does work to send money, use an ATM, or make purchases just fine. But support is abysmal!

Most of the app does work which includes logging in online from my personal computer. No problem with online transactions. What does not work is the add debit card. I always get a technical error both with the app and online. I gave it three-star rating because certain features don't work.
