For raw sockets these ESP8266 'WiFi to Serial' firmwares have been tested:
- Arduino -> Examples -> Esp8266WiFi -> TelnetToSerial
- GitHub -> jeelabs/esp-link
This app can also be used as Linux terminal, but is not a full full-blown terminal emulator as it is line-oriented and only supports a subset of escape sequences.
All features in this app are free. In-App purchase is only used for the 'Donate' option.

Use it to connect to ESP32 server onto a raw socket. Used instead of wired serial port to read debug messages. Works flawlesly!

Great! Can do SSH, Telnet and raw. Remembers different login names/passwords. Well usable.

Suggestion for new feature: When clicking on name/ip address in the Devices tab, have the program switch to the terminal screen and try to connect. Could add this to the settings tab

Used as display for Micro-controller, work well.Only thing i don't like is LF control char and some others do no do there jobs.

No adds to annoy you, and you can have a directory of different devices to access with a few tabs to automate some common commands

Great app for Telnet. Use it all the time for Pycom (Micropython) devices. I love that it doesn't close when multitasking with other apps. 10/10.

Allows me to control my pool pump. It's the only Android app I could find that can talks to my Pentair pump through RS485 to wifi that I had installed. Thanks so much for writing such a nice tool, and for making it available to us.

Great app! But lacks the ability to store binary data to file, thus need to stream as hex, then convert to bin..

Simple and solid app, does everything you'd want it to. The in-app purchases are just a built-in way for donations, and I recommend using them to help the dev if you have a penny or two. Amazing job 💞

Thank you but I have a problem. I set the configuration for my esp8266 module. I set its IP. I tried all of the protocols but every time it says "connection refused" Is it related to the port? Cause I don't know which port I should choose.

It would be a perfect app if there was an option that could turn the wifi on with opening the app so you don't need to turn wifi seperately
