Book ISBN scanner works great and is an awesome feature and app is pretty straight forward and easy to use. Only reason i only give 3 stars is the amount of books that are not being "accepted at this time", I understand that you cant take everything but i had 5 moving boxes full of books(about 300-350 books/textbooks) and only 40 or just over 10% were accepted.

Difficult to correct their repetitive financial errors that are always in their favor.

Super easy to use, clears off some of my bookshelf and keep me from being embarrassed to throw books away. In my city they won't even allow you to recycle them if they're hard cover.

If your book is worth 24.99 they pay .28 if you have a book that costs over 124.99 they pay you 1.12 hopefully that helps anyone looking to make money selling a personal collection. This might be beneficial to someone who aquires 500 books at no cost, but to someone who is looking to down size, the value is not worth it.

So I was hesitant at first. But I pack my books well and they have accepted almost every one. Nice way to make a little money. And they pay for the shipping so it makes sense they don't pay top dollar. But enough books adds up to a few bucks here and there.

I give it 4 stars now will wait until I receive payment for 5 stars. Very easy to use app. I was surprised the scanner worked as well as it did. May not pay much per book but my first cash out was over $18. Now I will see how long it will take to get paid and fix my review.

I recently tried Ziffit Books and found it to be quite disappointing. They offered me only 25 to 28 cents per book, which is incredibly low. I've never encountered a place that offers less than a dollar for books until I received their pamphlet in the mail. Curious, I decided to test it out with some brand new books I had, and they still only offered me a quarter per book. It's simply not worth it. I wouldn't

Everything with Ziffit works except for the sole reason you want to use it: to make money / trades for books from the books you already have that are far more valuable than what Ziffit will give for them. Every single one. Do not bother unless you just want to spend time quickly getting an idea of the low-ball amount of money you'd get from an absolute scumbag cheapskate for your prized collection of books.

I was trying to sell some books to free up some space on my shelves. I heard about this app via a YouTube video and was pretty excited to give it a try. I met the minimum amount required and when I tried to complete the trade, when I created a BRAND NEW ACCOUNT, it removed half the books I'd added stating I'd previously traded them before. I spent over 3 hours sorting books for absolutely no reason. Don't bother with this. Save your sanity.

Scanned about 10 movies not one was recognized. Waste of time. Deleted. *edit* they responded to my comment with a blanket response that did not address the concern. I was talking about the malfunctioning scanner rather than the algorithmic payment structure. I didn't even get to the payments because it couldn't recognize a single item I tried to input giving me the "are you sure this is a cd, book, or movie" error. Good job with reading comments before responding devs. Can I give 0 stars?

Cool idea, but not that great. So if you have like 100 books to sell this is a great idea, but if you have 10-12 books that are just taling up space, donate them instead. They pay pennies for each title, even if it is very popular at the moment and in amazing shape. I scanned a few books and you get like $0.50 (or less) for most books. You need $15 minimum to ship to them so it takes a lot of books to get to a point where you can actually ship to them and get paid.

Downloaded and the scanner works great. Created the account and went to complete my order and suddenly I "need to check my connection" despite every other connected device working just fine and other apps on my phone working fine. Tried three times to get the same message. Obviously they don't want to actually follow through with the buyback.

I give this app 4 stars due to the ease of use though it lacks in completion of the it's task. I had over 100 (college text, novels, and children's) books and scanned each one with this app. Some barcodes were easily detected, others needed to be manually inputted, which is understandable. Out of 100 books, the company offered to buy 21 items (that's fine). However, when I completed the trade an error occurred stating that one had already been traded. 20 were bought, I made $13.10.

It's a good idea, but they only give you pennies for each book, so I can see where this app would desirable if you have like 30 or more books to sell, otherwise it's a waste. I had 5 books and it only came to a little over 2 dollars (not even enough to trade for one book apparently). All the books I have are popular ones. Also one of the bar codes wouldn't even scan, and it didn't even recognize it when I manually typed it in. big thumbs down.

The scanner doesn't always read the bard code, but if you persist, it does 90% of the time. I like that we can remove books if we don't like the price or reconsider selling something. Occasionally, the scanner will read a barcode twice as you move the camera around. However, the system will alert you at the final stage if there are duplicates in the basket.
