It starts out easy and gets more challenging. As you level up you get increases in max energy. As locations level up they require a lot more energy. There are many things going on at the same time. Events have multiple things going on at once making completion challenging and will pressure to spend money. Updates are not available at the same time for everyone, causing a disadvantage. Started out fun but after playing long time, gets harder to follow storyline, completion taking longer.

update: I uninstalled the game for a while. After not finding anything else I liked as much, I reinstalled. So I guess that means it's really good. Same flaws or maybe I just want to play too much I really like this game. It does have a couple of flaws though. Offers pop up constantly, which is really annoying. Lastly, three minutes to regenerate one point is horrible, especially when it takes 30+ points to play one board for two minutes (at midlevel).

It's a fun game. I have two big issues with it though.. 1st I think it just gets to the point where it's too hard unless you spend real money to make it easier, adds up quick for sure. Of course that's the whole purpose of it but still. The 2nd issue and this one is the deal breaker, it is such a large download that it basically killed my phone. It would not keep a charge, got really hot and didn't work. I was able to figure it out and uninstalled it at which time luckily it recovered.

I really enjoy this game. It has good graphics, an interesting storyline, and fun puzzles. The item searches and puzzles are challenging without being frustrating. The high level areas take a lot of energy; you can't play them many times without items. Recently there's been free energy every day which has been a great way to level up and build energy reserves. The events last a good while: you can earn the rewards without playing obsessively every day.

I do love this game, it does have wonderful graphics, it's compelling. The ads are repetitive to the point of aggravation and they really have to knock them back. I went to go play the game tonight, and because of all this repetitive NIS, it froze my phone and I can play the game anymore. Can somebody unfreeze me, please? Thank you.

A pretty enjoyable hidden objects game, nice art and interesting setting. Sometimes things were a little too hard to find, in my opinion. Perhaps have some things where they may more naturally appear? Still plenty of options for hiding places, without being in the same two, three places. And there have been times tapping the correct item, it counted as a miss. Aggravating. Plus, it's kind of annoying that a review is a quest...

I generally open the game about 3-5 minutes before I actually want to play because there are a lot of pop-up ads. I just x out or you can make a purchase when you first start the game. I don't spend money on games like this so these are mere annoyances to me. There are a lot of ways to earn special gifts so I've gotten pretty far without spending money. Once you're playing the game, the ads pop up occasionally but aren't too annoying. Otherwise,this game is really fun and holds my interest.

Playing 3+ yrs New location added monthl6. Most locations are wonderful. They have a variety of skill level (extremely easy to extremely difficult majority have a good balance). Of course there are ads but compared with other games they are few and far between. My only serious issue is that monetized offers are not consistent for everyone. Prices for one person may be less $10 while diff players/systems get a comp offer for $100+ FREE PLAY IS COMPLETELY DOABLE $ spent is choice 4 easier play

I'm addicted!! It is a very fun game and you have a lot of different options to play in different modes. I do wish it was easier to earn gems, I also wish it was easier to find or cancel certain anomalies on certain chapters. Other than that it's fun, you can get special items for only a $1 which is also very helpful, if you need a few extra gifts.

I enjoy the game, think it helps with memory. That being said, there are way too many ads and discrepancies in the amounts that are charged to different people for the same items. They have reduced the prizes and chest items, and made it harder to complete darkwood stories by reducing the number of puzzle pieces for trade, and the number of duplicates that you get with the cards is astronomical. Last month I had well over 3000 points for duplicates.

I enjoy the game and I've been playing for quite some time now. I'm not sure why the ads are no longer muted when the game sounds are. They (the ads) are also a LOT louder than the game sounds when I have those on. This limits where and when I can play, and totally negates the relax effect. It would also be nice to have a pay option that removes ads completely, not just for a time frame.

The graphics are stunning and the artwork of this game is spectacular. I just wish we got more free stickers, and better winnings when we complete a collection. And the haunted lights are so hard. Loveeeee the new update March 2024 omg it's stunning. Like Alice in wonderland or something. Still feel like we should will better gifts for completing collections, winning in our guild , etc. Please

Thought I should update my rating. The gameplay is too dark as in lighting. Its a challenge for those with visual impairments to see without enough light contrast. On full brightness, I cannot make out the differences many times. It has led to me rarely playing anymore. Please consider diversifying your game to meet those with disabilities fairly. Thank you! Fun game. Storyline is quite hard to follow, but it's very enjoyable even so.

This game used to be fun. Lately, all they want to do is push advertisements for other games. It actually affects your game play now. There are timed games (ie- emerald hunt) where you get a set amount of time to complete as many locations as you can. Now 1/3rd of the time you are allotted is advertising. Every single time you win a location, you get an ad. It's not worth playing anymore.

The game has gotten less rewarding and fun over the last few years. It used to be so much fun to complete quests & feel excited that you won/earned something! Now it's just so depressing when you play so hard & even spend $ and they continue to take away the ways to earn rewards & send gifts. They have lost many long time players, the newbies don't know any better of when it was more rewarding. Gone is the beautiful Vintage charm. New locations are cartoonish and bright.It's more like Brightwood

Great game play, but Dear God, the in app pop up ads. There's @ 6 ads as soon as you open the app and another 2-3 ads between each round you play. I spend more time X-ing out of ads than I do actually playing. And it takes way too long for your energy to rejuvenate. I want to play more than once a day.

I'm uninstalling after writing this review. The graphics are gorgeous. Parts of the game are fun. But there was SO MUCH GOING ON AND TO KEEP TRACK OF, that my tired old brain just couldn't keep up with what I was supposed to do next. I have games I've played a very long time. I gave up on this in one evening. Maybe you could issue a dumbed-down version with few ads, settling for a modest, but stable profit from dedicated players..... just a thought.

It's a cool find the difference game. But as you progress, it seems like the objects you are looking for are not always in the picture. The game wants you to use your hints or purchase them or show the remaining missing objects just before you run out of time. I have used hints, and then the object appears. Once I saw that happen, I found myself only playing once a day and until my energy runs out.

The game is entertaining and fun to start, but quickly becomes far too difficult. This is planned. You will fail levels again and again, and you will not progress further without spending money to add search time. So this is a fail in my opinion. Hidden object games should be relaxing, not stressful. I am uninstalling and will look for a better experience elsewhere.

I mostly love this game! Sometimes it does seem like there's too much going on but that's okay. I wish there was not the Mosaic puzzle that was part of this because those are way too hard. I've seen a few reviews mentioned ads but I've never had ANY ads! My only issue is it's very difficult getting the fixers needed (IE the pink and white feather and candlestick) to assemble the collection
