I really want to give this game 5 stars, but it has some issues that need to be addressed. During the game, I had to keep choosing between the local or cloud option for recovery. I wonder if this could be resolved if players pick a save option prior to investigating story lines. I also have an issue in regard to progress. Why must I break the law (share evidence) in order to solve the case? Surely, there is a way to achieve success without compromising police integrity.

Best detective game I have ever played. I liked how it looked like you hired actor to play the rolls instead of using AI. I would like more stories. The only thing problem I had was the jarome Jacobs I was getting to the end and it showed a news clip and then flash black and frozen no end credits nothen I don't know if it was intentional or not. But other then that I really liked it.

Great detective game, if you don't mind intended?/unintended glitches. LOTS of videos glitch. Highlighted ones for clues and live body cam feeds. In Redman E02, you can ask about glitches (it's an outdated software funding issue). This only HAPPENS to you. Do anything to move past those sections, even exit & re-enter the game. Team views w/o issue & will know YOUR missing clues for story progression. Captivating modern storylines. I need more episodes, faster dialogue speed & a skip feature.

Fun, but nothing more than an interactive story. If you're looking for a game with actual puzzles or any type of detective work that you, the player, have to do, then I would look elsewhere. You never actually solve anything yourself. Clues might as well have a big flashy pointing arrow, and the NPCs hold your hand the entire time and solve everything for you. If you want to "solve" something, all you have to do is progress the story and it will be spelled out for you by someone else.

Soo.. I like the storylines and the issues they shine a light on. However, it is a bit frustrating at times with the answer choices your given because it's not really a choice. E.g. Even if you don't think someone is the murderer or just don't want to banally jump to conclusions, your only options are "THEY DID IT!" or "Pretty sure they did it" type of thing. Definitely could be better. Just feels like I'm watching a detective show, screaming at the TV "IT WASN'T THEM MORON" lol

In part 5, it just suddenly closes. If you leave the game, you lose all record of conversations with your crew. Started of like it was going to be a really good game. That changed it just stalls you, and no matter where you go or what you look at, it's a fat 0, last game from Netflix I try. And it's not worth 2 or 3 bucks to play. Very disappointing , but I don't know what I was expecting.. it's Netflix

I played both stories. Including the last chapters where you see what could have been. The storylines were immersive, and I enjoyed figuring things out as I went. I will say, if you want to avoid spoilers, finish the first chapter before playing the second. The second chapter can be completed first without impacting any aspect of that story, but one of the news articles does reveal the killer from chapter 1.

Great Stories and Gameplay!!!! BUT too many glitches. The app does function properly after playing certain videos or closing the app. If you can't answer a call, the call is lost and you can reactivate the programming to initiate the call again. I cannot totally complete chapter 6 because I played the last video and it is stuck on a black scene.

Worked smoothly and amazing for me, the game has voice lines, videos, images and more. The game also has slang or language you would expect from people in "gangs" the overall storylines though is amazing because you access new information and keep going on. I love how you can also skip the time.if something's quite long, overall amazing app and I HIGHLY recommend it.

I like the stories behind the mysteries and the game itself but I can't finish the first story because I only get a black screen at the end which is super frustrating and the second I was able to finish but there's nothing else. I wish they had more mysteries and had fixed the black screen problem with the first one, sadly gotta delete it.

I was instantly hooked playing this game. It's impressively realistic. My current problem is I keep getting a black screen and getting kicked off the game when I try to view the CC TV footage from Intelligence in chapter 2. Guess I have to try skipping this and go straight my chat options to Intelligence. Hopefully that will let me move forward.

Detective Melodrama. I love how the story feels big, as in I feel like I make big choices but in the end they have little effect or are lucky; glad you could contain that design! What I don't like is some of the scripting when it should be interactions, for instance simply when you "chat" with each department it is always forced. To fix that immersion, flip that script and have the experts contact me. I should at that point chat with them. Also there's timeline bugs during dialog+close it hangs.

Really good, but sadly needs 3 key fixes. Overall, narrative and immersiveness are great: it's a good game. But: 1) devs, you *have* to add a skip button for all the text you read. It's unbearably slow, I won't finish the game until this is added. 2) Add a restart chapter option (right now you can only continue, so you have to restart the previous chapter, lame). 3) End of first story has a preachy video that is *not* skippable. It's a game, folks: you need to think player first.

The stories are good with several twists. Unfortunately it's possible to talk to one person before another, causing a soft lock as you've already talked to someone the game is directing you toward. IMO it's frustrating that the outcome of a story can be changed based on ONE choice when there are possibly hundred to make in a story. You'll find that in order to make the right choice, you, as the player, need to pay attention to very small details the game does not point out or make note of.

It's a decent game in the sense that I want to help playing and get to the bottom of the mystery. Sometimes the videos glitch out and don't play right, or the loading screen will just get stuck. I also can't finish episode 6 of the one or episode 4 of the other because the videos freeze and are just stuck there. It's frustrating because I do want to continue to play but can't.

I really enjoyed the immersive nature of this game and I think they've done a great job with the storyline and where different choices lead you. It was a bit glitchy at times and crashed once, but I was able to finish both entire stories. I wish there was an option to speed up the text/conversations for us speed readers. My only other complaint? More content, please! Overall a good game with a great concept. Thanks devs!

It keeps stalling. I have rebooted, reinstalled, reset. At this point I have played episode 1 four times, and then somewhere at the end of episode 2 or beginning of episode 3, it just stops responding. It shows there are interactions with Intelligence and Ground and Forensics, but all three are just frozen where they last ended. No updates, no new things to click, no one left to interrogate, and I can't move forward. Frustrating as h*ll.

I definitely lose track of time playing this. Just a couple small things; At the end of the first story right after they pressed charges, the screen just went black and is still black so I don't know what happens next. Second, the interviews and conversations read very slowly. I get it for slower readers but I read quickly so it's a bit annoying. Instead of a few words at a time, maybe post the entirety of what the character is saying all at once? Good game tho.

Was hooked. I didn't have any issues with black screens or gameplay technical errors. Both stories are very intriguing, I liked the first one the most. You feel very involved and I enjoy that the game gives realistic time frames for getting things done. This helps people understand how long it can truly take for police work. If you like crime and investigation, I definitely suggest giving this a go

Played the Redman one. Do not expect to actually solve a crime; in the end, this is a visual novel, and the plot is mostly red herrings and deus ex machinas. Your choices barely matter. Writing is mixed, as if written by several writers of varying quality. Some parts are near brilliant. Other parts are cliche and annoyingly preachy. The plot starts out quite compelling but goes downhill in the second act. To my surprise, it recovers and finishes pretty strong. Despite its flaws, it's worth a go!
