Good game! Nice visuals, great mechanics, worth the download! The only thing is in Episodes 5&6 there was a bug where it did not allow me to progress forward into the final bit. Beautifully crafted game otherwise! Response to ENS: When got all the clues in 5 it didn't allow me to progress to the final pieces of content. Same for 6 but for half of it. After reloading it didn't do much to help. I looked in the walkthrough and I was confused further.

Truly an amazing game. Kept me captivated since the beginning with an intriguing "who-done-it" type story. Also extremely realistic with the characters, opportunities to do interviews, and dialogue options, and it really feels like it's on you to piece everything together. It also ended up being rather emotional, relating to the very real issue of racial discrimination... Such an amazing game, I definitely recommend it, especially if you enjoy great murder mystery stories

This is so much more than a game. It influences the way you will see the world from now on, if you hadn't known about these things before. I had no idea that it would be about a topic so important, but the ways you can interact with the suspects and your colleagues really makes it a thrilling choice-based game which shows you just how much your actions have, intentional or not, consequences you never would've wanted. Aside from the story, the setup is amazing and immersive. However there are some glitches with videos, not showing responses until you reload the app, and crashing. Even with these issues, it was so worth it.

I played the Netflix edition and was able to get through the first story, but the second started glitching out and force closing, so I downloaded this version thinking it would be better. So far I have only been able to fully open the app once, allowing me to get to the menu for selecting a story. I selected the story with Gemma and it said downloading then force closed. Now, I can't even get to the menu without it force closing. It's a shame. I really liked the premise of this game. This sucks!

I've been looking for something like this for ages! No ads, no pay-to-win, and no forced unnecessary waiting times!! It has a great story line and is wonderfully made. The only downside that made me deduct a star is the lack of choice. You do get some choice, that does somewhat affect it, but your choice doesn't really change the end result. I do get it would of been hard to produce multiple endings though. So if having a choice-y impact is important to you, this may not be for you. Great game!

I played this through Netflix on a whim, and was completely blown away. Not much of a gamer tbh, but this was so realistic and immersive, I didn't want to put it down. I didn't have the glitching problems that apparently some of the other players had- worked smoothly on my Android. I will say that the first game's theme was a lot better than the second game. I don't see myself recommending it due to the adult content in game 2. Hopefully a new one's coming out soon.

The game has one of the most lifelike storylines I've played in a while. It's very deep and it's not all cheap effects like CSI or other fake cop shows. This one feels like it could have been based on a true story. (Was it?) The only things that cost it a star are that the ALT ENDING chapter is unplayable. You start to play it, then it goes to a load screen and then redownloads the chapter and resets your progress. Also, the response button hotspots never line up with the buttons.Hard to click.

Woah.. I think this might be the first review I've made on a game but that was insane. There are no ads, no wait time, it tells you exactly how long each episode will take, and the only negative thing is it requires a bit of space but they let you download the next episode as you go. Definitely worth checking out. One of the best interactive games I've played yet

Love the game but since last night's update it's been glitching a lot. I got to the alternate ending, left to do chores and it reset complete. Except some main parts stayed so I became stuck. So I went and rewound to the last episode but it said I found someone's messages before I even had them. So I went back again. Same thing. It says I have it when I don't so I get stuck. I'm not sure what to do.

Truly incredible. Once in a lifetime story for a phone game. Clever. Heartfelt. Intriguing. Multilayered. Only frustrating things, I feel like I was lead to an unfortunate decision that changed the outcome. Not listening to the advice given about that decision would've been an insensitive choice. Also, I was frustrated that I couldn't avoid talking to third parties about the case. Wouldn't have done it in real life. But exceptional game, and story (and music!). One of the best I've ever played.

I came across a few bugs, a black screen at the very very end and at one point the game was stuck until a conversation repeated itself. Giving it 5 stars for many reasons, the story, the way it felt looking for clues, how bad I got attached to characters, how genuinely angry I got at others, being able to skip 24 hour waits when I was too anxious to wait for realisms sake 😅 without having to pay a ton of money, which definitely would've taken the soul out of the message of the game. Just 👌👏👏

I don't understand why this has an average of 3.0 stars. This game is AMAZING. Extremely immersive and really makes you think about the choices you make and the consequences that decide how the game ends. No grammar or spelling issues, and for me no glitching whatsoever. The packages are so affordable. I love this game and the variety of options. Definitely recommend.

Fun, quickly ran out of coins. Other than paying money, it doesn't seem like you can earn any. At the moment I'm not interested in spending cash, so I dropped it (for now), otherwise I enjoyed the zombie mini series, scary face, and I did play the first episode of the Redman story. It was fun! Sort of sorry I did the zombie one first, but game is definitely worth a play.

Absolute masterpiece. The voice and video acting, the choices, my only downside is being unable to finish the alternate ending but I emailed the devs and I can't bring myself to remove a star. I mean, it was so good. What a ride. Loved it and can't wait for more from this team. Very real and hard to get through at times (US here).

Absolutely amazing. I never really leave reviews unless it's bad. But this... This was exceptional. Amazing. Beautiful. The characters felt so real. And NO ADS!!! No ads, no in app purchases. you don't need to buy gems, coins, tickets, or anything to skip time. You can skip if you want to, or wait for full immersion. I really hope the creators of this make more games. Because this... Was indescribable.

This was truly the best game I have ever played. The storytelling is amazing, characters are wonderfully crafted and all around it keeps your interest throught the whole game. In games like these you have to wait, but in this game you can easily skip any waiting you want without paying for it. The mystery here is amazing, and the twists and turns it takes is so interesting. The message of it is just wonderful. It touches on real world problems that still happen, and gives a good ending to them.

I had a good memory of playing this game a while back but never finished it. Downloaded it again only to find out the story I played, which was free originally, has been locked behind a paywall. You have to use your coins to buy new episodes and coins don't regenerate; you use real money. Reminds me of episode. In a bad way.

Very intriguing app ruined by bugs. The first episode was quite fun and engaging. The support cast had interesting personalities and the tasks felt authentic. I was getting the hang of things by the end of episode one. Episode two glitched very early into the story. Communication with my team on the ground just stopped mid-stride. What's funny/ironic/irritating is that I ask another contact if their communication device is buggy. No intention to try the other crime story with this killer bug.

Its an amazing plot, I played the game back when it was still called dead mans phone and wanted to come back and replay it. Theres been only one small glitch until now, I'm on episode 5 and I was waiting the timer out since I was on hold with the home secretary, but I went back in after the timer ran out and nothings happening? I went through everything to see if I needed to do something to progress, but nothing. I'm really bummed since I enjoyed the game a lot a few years back.

It's more of a 4.8 stars for me. I love Scriptic. All choices are free, you only need coins to speed up wait times for the next episode but in the meantime you can play other Scriptic stories. I only wish I could save at certain spots or have a fast-forward option because I like getting all endings but don't wanna go through all of my choices and all the background all over again. Otherwise, get this game! No ads, no push for micro transactions. It's a nearly perfect mobile game.
