This app used to be great. You could be on a phone call...select the take Video option and it would also audio record your phone call. I used it to capture things spoken over the phone to me like specific directions or instructions....GREAT in a pinch when someone is quickly trying to explain something to you over the phone. But suddenly, now when u make or receive a phone call the audio MUTES! I WISH the developers give its loyal users some kind of warning, lost so much important info!! :(

Enjoyable. Easy to use. I enjoy the magic bottom lots. Livestreaming my screen to YouTube is a plus but it used to work for as long as I record but now it'll stop recording all of a sudden at random times and my YouTube livesream won't end and so there will be a loading screen there for hours on the video because I didn't end it properly because it will crash and stop recording. Same thing when I simply only record my screen, it'll stop, and so the recording doesn't save.

Powerful. This is the closest thing to OBS-Studio for Android in my opinion. I use this to replicate my OBS setup on my phone. You can overlay graphics/text, have a picture in picture front or back camera, and you can even pause. There's no scenes or transitions, but you can do that in increments while recording. It also let's you livestream. Apps like this keep Android a powerful alternative to iOS.

Updating my review to 4 stars. It feels a lot more stable now in the editor, which tbh is the most important part of the tool for me over recording. I would love a mic toggle button on the float tool, though. Keep forgetting mic is on and I don't always need it on while recording, just when recording accessibility issues. Thanks for the app updates!

Very useful. Great footage and decent editing capabilities. Takes a bit to get used to but can do everything I need it to. One issue is that I cannot edit any videos over about 35 minutes. It says "failed to export" and I can't even cut the video to edit smaller parts. Also recording internal audio does not work on any apps or even phone. I have a ZTE Nubia Red Magic 5g, which might cause the audio problem.

great app, super clear, not grainy like other free apps, no ads really, no watermarks.... the only thing they need to fix is when you trim and crop, you have to crop save it, open it up again in video editor, trim then save.... i can't tell if that's degrading the quality of the video, it still looks clear... i want to be able to crop the area I'm recording, then trim, or whatever, then saving...

There are TONS of camera capture / record apps out there; trust me, I have tried almost all of them. This app is by FAR the best I have ever used. (I use on a Samsung note 9) One noted feature is it records voice from videos; whereby a lot of others wont. You can make gifs and it has various cutouts (Oval, round square) for photos. And you can crop the area of the video you recorded as well. I likewise paid for the Pro version and am very happy with this app.

Recording videos works fine, though it's a little annoying that it constantly puts the floating button on the screen after I keep removing it. However, trimming videos always fails at 99%. It gets there and just stops. This app would be nearly perfect if that could be fixed. (Or if the full length videos could be trimmed in the YouTube app, but that's probably out of your control.)

In a previous version of this app, you could make gifs just fine with this app. For some reason, now gifs must always begin from the begining of your screen recording. In other words, you can trim out later parts of your screen recording, but not the beginning parts of it. I hope this issue is fixed soon, since this is otherwise the best gif maker I have ever used. If it weren't for this issue, I would rate four or five stars. Edit: The developer reply is appreciated. Thank you very much. It's good to know that my concerns are being considered.

I love this app but I'd like it if you could change it to allow the user to edit audio into whichever part of the video they want. While editing a video every time I wanted to add a piece of audio/an audio file, it would only start it from the beginning of the video instead of letting me select the part of the video I wanted it to be at. I tried cutting the video in half, adding the audio to the second portion, and then splicing them together but the audio just wasn't in the second half at all.

Honestly, this is a great app. A shame that it can't record internal Audio. But quality and overlay setting are very useful. Had a glitch the other day. Recorded a video about 1 hour long. Stopped recording. And waiting for the save to finish before closing the app. But when I checked My video, it only saved the first 34 minutes? I verified I had plenty of space on mt SD and never navigated away from the game I was recording... Glitch?

The only reason why I haven't given this app a higher rating is because of the difficulty there is to go from finishing/stopping screen recording to the editing. Working with a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and inevitably I must close the phone screen to stop the recording process and then open the app in order to get to the options of editing. If this part of the process was simpler/easier/more intuitive I would rate it higher.

I've been looking for a screen recorder with the ability to turn off microphone sound easily for so long and this is the first one I found. You are easily able to switch a setting to record internal sound rather than microphone sound. (Internal sound is the sound only coming from your device and microphone sound is outside noises like you talking, for anyone having the same problem I had.) 🙂

Have used the App for well over 2 (maybe 3) years and its usually amazing! But all of a sudden the app will not let me watch or edit recordings. It'll start the recording just fine, then when I try to play or edit the recording errors will pops up saying "I cannot edit the clip" while trying to edit or "Cannot find the clip" When just trying to play it. I have never had this issue before and has just started within the past 48 hours Edit: This is on a Samsung Galaxy S21+

I have been out for a good screen recorder since 2014. The best one I found could only run 30 fps for 30 seconds. I gave up a few weeks ago, until I found this under the "Recommended for you" section on the Play store. I had installed this app, seeing as it said NO ROOT, NO TIME LIMIT. I tested it and tinkered with settings. Best Android Screen Recorder there is. I recently donated to get the rest of the features. I was not disappointed at all.

Seems to work really well. But if recording at highest resolution (1280 × 720) then I need to close many other apps running in the background or else the resulting video skips frames. This is my phone's fault since this requires a lot of computing power (I have 1.2 GHz Quad-Core). But even so this only affects the video while recording the audio perfectly. Lowering the res. a bit also solves the problem. So all this means -one great little app, 5 1/2 stars!

I have been trying to record the same clip for about 10mins and it's 30secs long! I've had it corrupt about 11 times and it hasn't stopped! When I repair it, it only shows about 10secs of the clip and doesn't even fully show it entirely. The clip im trying to record is also from brawlstars and this shows this app can't handle a game💀 barely works half of the time u have to record like 5 times to actually get a non corrupted video

Best screen recorder.. no paying, no bs, enough free storage for what I use it for.. simple, easy and free. What more could you ask for? Well, it might have that too.. and if you need more, you should probably pay for something that fits your needs.. this may have an upgraded version.. but since it records my screen, which is all I ask of it, I've never needed it. Oh and I have recommended it to several people.. basically, it's an excellent choice, if youre choosing a screen recorder..

Pretty good with video quality and audio capture, but there's one problem. I tried to get rid of the water mark and I watched an ad, so when I saw it was gone after I watched the video I saved it. A while later when I went to watch it again, the water mark was still there and when I tried to get rid of it my screen had a pop up that said ads aren't working try again later. Other than glitches like that the app is pretty good

I love that it can be set to record with the screen locked. I can lock and unlock screen without interrupting the recording. While recording, I can still take pictures with camera, utilize copy/paste, use Amaz0n Fl3x app, and make calls. There's a feature to repair corrupt videos, but I've never got it to work. (To repair corrupt videos, I use another app called MP4fix.)
