Interesting, story wise. But I feel like the choices have no value.

Author I love your story but can you please post in the forum a walkthough or maybe update the game and place the walkthrough to the stat page?

Great game, don't see much of this genre in HG anymore, good job!

i don't understand the question mechanic, but the story and writing was by far the best I've seen in a while.

A lot of fun. Would like to play female/interested in men though (not gameplay relevant but does affect character backstory).

One of the more humane games in the CYOA games in the way that emotion is not underplayed in this one. Had a good time playing it.

The game is fine but the lack of divergent paths hinders it's ability to scratch the itch for an actual unique mystery.

Very unreal in the begining you lecture your rookie about not currupting the crime scean the send them off while you sicure the scean ane procead to look at the corpases pale skin shes preaty but been dead for weeks... Flesh is roten and stripped in the woods from a carcis in 3-9 days depending on weather and if burried and if burried the ground composit. You move the bodies covering you move her hair and thats just the first couple pages... 😒 not sure what they did for research...

Now THIS is a freaking proper story. COG has been too focused pushing forth a political agenda that they've forgotten why people go for their games in the first place. It's for this one right here. I spent the night with my feet clenched for the twists and turns and with my brows furrowed as I just cant filter out the red herrings from the real clues. I somehow got a lucky hit tho and apprehended the right mofo at the end. Very satisfying. lol Tnx for the ride & tnx for not being like like THEM.

Useless ass of a game. The story is very interesting. But the game is a dead game. No clues. And just random endings. You basically play the game over and over and be surprised of a different ending every time. Ass game and ass author.

A real mystery. The guys are really annoying but they're still managable. But what's not manageable? Alcohol. The murderer changes everytime. (Sorry, The gal with the PTSD. I was just really sure it was you).

No clues on what's gonna happen next. TRIED TO FOCUS, no use though. Replayed 24 times. No change to any dialogues. Just random endings. All over again. No replay value. One of the worst CYOA game.

It's been too long since I've last read a good story from HG. And this was phenomenal. Hooked me right from the beginning. People like different things. I don't care about the replay value, I care about the story, plot and characters. Great game for someone looking for those things.

Easy read-thru & I enjoy being able to "create" a story through a choose-your-own-adventure. Highly recommend! I can't wait to read through it again to get a different killer!

I'm a little disappointed. The story itself is phenomenal but it's super linear and you have very few choices to actually make and the ones you do don't change the story very much.

So much potential but the writing is so lazy. 1) No, you can't choose to play as male or female. 2) Even if you never drink your whiskey, the game will treat you as if you drink all the time. 3) Random killer with no hints beforehand. This game gives you little choice and you can't guess the killer based on the clues bcs the game doesn't work that way. A bad CYOA game.

This is a detective story where you are investigating a mass grave of young women that were murdered. The writing is decent but this story was different in the way that it functioned. There were no stats and the different endings seemed random. I suspect the investigation itself has little to no bearing on the actual ending. Essentially the ending is randomized. I enjoyed the dark storyline with a classic whodunnit plot. This story has a lot of content in it that lends well to replayability.
