I appreciate the intention to modernize the previous app and to potentially make information more easily accessible. That said, I am concerned with the overall outcome. 1. The quote page, in my opinion, should be more customizable so that the raw data is immediately visible without requiring users to view a chart (the previous app did not have a chart on the quote page). 2. The quote page refreshing glitch has improved. However, the volume data no longer refreshes with the quote.

The old app was SO much better and cleaner to navigate. This one has too many sub menus to go down, and it's difficult to find what your looking for. The old app you didn't even have to sign in to see watchlists. It may be stylish, but it's a hassle. EDIT: was using old app until I was forced over, and the new one just isn't simplistic. I keep feeling like it goes in circles, and not bringing up tickers, rather your acc. Bring back the old app and work off it.

Older one better... I can see from the other reviews everyone can see this is not as useful as the older version... In fact I don't think I'd use it unless I have to... Hopefully back to the drawing board. A trading app without recent quotes is not built for trading... I like the current app and will keep using. Update... They asked for feedback and improved nothing. It's still useless designed by people who have never traded. Amazing level of incompetence and an insult to customers.

As multiple people have said the old one was better. Not different. Better. This version has added confusion while making the app less useable. Unfortunately the only option is to switch trading platforms. If I can have one ask PLEASE switch it back so stocks are shown in the currency they are held in. It's absolutely useless to know the Canadian value of a US stock I purchased with USD. Sooner or later I'm going to screw a trade up because of this.

Old app is better. Why can't I see my watchlists without signing in. Why are the graphics worse. Can't click on details in watchlist. Can't see charts from watchlist. May have to find a new platform. The old app was basic but easy to navigate. This new app is annoying and not as detailed in the watchlist. Don't like it at all if it stays like this.

Wow, one of the worst downgrades of any app i use in recent memory. Much less info in a page than prior version - click on a stock in your portfolio and it shows you... nothing about that stock. Boo. All of the competing platforms eat this alive. Who would ever choose to use this? Previous version was 3-4 stars, it is generous to give this 2 stars. INVESTORS WANT INFORMATION!

This is edited and I actually found that I can transfer funds into my investment account which I'm actually happy with. How ever I really dont like that it doesn't show the stock price in the equities page its rather annoying. Would have a higher rating if the 2sv wasn't MANDATORY I keep zero info saved in my phone have all my debit card numbers memorized and type them in manually every time to login to any of my bank accounts. I have never kept a lock screen on my phone so that's very annoying

My app keeps losing functionality. Always need to reinstall. This is by far the worst app. It isn't user-friendly and compares to the very first apps ever built. It feels so dated. I've used it for over a week now, and I'm now using the web version, which is crazy! I'm actually considering another trading platform. The only 2 features that I like are biometric login and being able to view transactions on the account screen. Other than that, this is a poorly designed app.

signing up for ITrade was the most busted experience I've had in my life. so many hoops and unnecessary questions just to get started, and when I finally finished and E-signed all the documents, which I also downloaded! the dam app is still telling me I have no account!? why is the sign up process so unintuitive!? and why do I need to sign up in a browser? could the sign up not take place in the app itself? this was a frustrating experience I'll stick with wealth simple.

The itrade app is very slow and convoluted. I only downloaded it because they messed up the mobile website making it hard to use. I was expecting something easy to use like the desktop site. The app is slow and hard to make quick checks and quick decisions. Looks nice but does not work well. Bring back my desktop option for mobile.

Options and equities trading is definitely more seamless than before. Would urge team to add back options Greeks back to the app, as it was there before in the old app. Can't expect ppl to resort to mobile website to get that information

Unreliable app. Over the past couple months, it will no longer let me in. Keeps saying "something went wrong" as I enter my login info. I have to login through the web portal instead. Frustrating.

poor customer service and tax allocation of income. I sent Itrade an email with 4 questions regarding their incorrect tax allocation of a T5 for tax purposes, and they replied to one question and purposely ignored the other three questions. Then, after the 3rd or the 4th email, they asked me to file a complaint. All I'm asking is to just answer all the questions. It's frustrating to deal with customer service long holds. And this is how they treat their long-term clients, unbelievable! Bye-bye!

Total mess, full of unnecessary info. How this even get 3 star if most reviews are 1 star! Unfortunately its being thrown on customers with no choice. Using desktop now only. Useless app!

Could you make available to put a bracket orders using mobile app ! (orders with preinstalled TP and SL). It would be a game changer )) I still don't see my buying power available on margin account. My buying power is always equal to my cash balance, at the same time I use margin. Thanks. ..and the hotkeys are missing in trading platform, for quick orders.

The new app simply sucks. It's buggy too. BTW It won't work unless you have a lock screen enabled on your device. No thanks, that's enough. Scotia won't listen anyway. I now have to leave iTrade after 20 years. Update: 1 year later and absolutely no improvement. Glad I left iTrade.

TOO RISKY: No bracket orders, meaning you can only have a Stop Loss order or Take Profit order but not both at the same time. To have a Take Profit order, you have to cancel your Stop Loss order first, leaving you unprotected. The same thing the other way. THEY HAVE THE SAME BEHAVIOR IN THE WEB PLATFORM AS WELL. I have reported this on several channels. They don't care or just don't have a clue what they're doing. STAY AWAY from this MEDIOCRE PLATFORM if you like your hard erarned money.

Absolutely frustrating. The app will randomly kick you out whenever it wants and then it won't accept your credentials unless you force close it and start it again. It is also super slow, requires too many clicks and changing from screen to screen to make a trade. If you like to trade fast or day trade, this is not the app for you.
