Great game for a while. After a while, the gameplay becomes impossible - the upgrade requirements are ridiculous and it's clear that its intentionally done as pay to play after a certain point. I would rather pay a small price up front for the game then be force to keep spending in game just to progress.

Really fun but its pay to win. The game itself is good witb rpg elements for your towers with good map designs. However, the difficulty get insanely tougher with each level and you are not rewarded enough crystals to upgrade your towers which leads you to having to watch ads for crystals, replaying old maps(which gives you less crystals than an ad), or worse having to dish out some cash. I shouldn't have to pay to play and pay to win.

I'd say the best mobile Tower Defense game I've played, and I've played many. Ads are optional, as are in-game purchases. I did have to grind to build up my towers and get past a level or two, but it is doable. Some quirks. You can't change the focus of the towers, but I found that of no real consequence. The funniest quirk is the evolving story, with it's humorously hostile protagonists. Don't get too wrapped up in it. It doesn't go anywhere.

It's a fun tower defence game, albeit pretty hard. I came across a game breaking bug though-when I tap the screen to start some levels, it zooms in just slightly and then doesn't let me scroll to the buttom parts of the map where I need to place towers. Most maps work fine fine when it does it but I'm on level 38 and it's impossible to pass. I don't know if this game gets updated anymore but I'm hoping it does to fix this, I was really enjoying it.

Great TD game (currently on lvl 54). Some levels are very difficult, and require strategy to beat. I sometimes watch ads, but never needed to pay. If you're having trouble with a level, Energy Siphon combined with Greed usually helps. Explanations are poorly translated. The most important thing to know is modules aren't active until the tower is upgraded enough - tower lvl 2 activates the first module, 4 activates the second module, etc. I wish the game showed which portals are connected.

kinda buggy. I haven't bought a thing on this app, I actually can't even figure out how to lol. If I click on sale, nothing happens. I can't find where the store is, not that I need it. I'm up to level 76/80, 3*s on all of them including hard mode. You have to play several levels several times to get credits, and the infinite level is helpful in the beginning. But now when I play the infinite level, I can't finish it. I always have to quit now which means no reward as the waves just keep coming

Great game, but I upgraded to the Galaxy S21 and it no longer works :(. Happy to change to 5 starts when it starts working again. 3-9-21 Update: game works on the new phone, which is great. However, I had to completely start over - none of my progress was saved. I don't actually mind replaying it, but I've spent money in the game and I'm pretty pissed that what I've spent is gone now. Down to 2 stars because of that.

Literally the best tower defense game you can find on the play store right now. If you have a hard time in this game and find yourself having to pay for anything, consider a different playstyle or strategy. The levels vary in difficulty, and some of them are outright hard, but every level is accomplishable. If you have knowledge of how to design a good maze or make a good chokepoint (WHICH IS A FEATURE I LOVE IN THIS GAME) then you will go far in this game.

Not a Pay to Win Game!! If you can't progress without paying, you just don't understand the game. Ignore the ads, wait 30 seconds, and get the cash you need to upgrade. I suggest you play the normal mode on all levels, use your cash to upgrade until you're stuck. Then go back to level 1 and play hard mode until you're stuck. This gives you enough money to upgrade towers and continue to progress on normal. Rinse and repeat. You must strive for 3 stars on each level. Great game! Story is silly...

Enjoying the game even though I had to start over when I got my new phone. For some reason with my new phone I am unable to see the very top portion of map 18 which makes it very difficult to get passed that lvl due to no being able to see the area the enemy spawn and their being 3 different directions they can go. Not sure why this issue is occuring.

Good game play but some weakness as well. I enjoyed it but with changing phones I would have to start over and it is not worth that. Other weakness include that you obviously can not use it on an alternative device if you have a tablet or have to use more than one phone. In game, the story seemed superfluous. More significant in game, it was unclear exactly what some of the upgrades you could choose would actually do.

The Good: I have to say this is one of the most promising TD games I have played. I love the unique Module system added to allow customer towers to suit one's play style. I thoroughly enjoy the way monetization is approached with this game. First and most commonly the ability to buy credits outright is standard fare for micro-transactions and if the developer ever implements a cloud based syncing of purchases I would seriously consider spending a few dollars to get the few extra credits I need to complete this upgrade or that. However, the true genius is with the add placement! I never thought I would be voluntarily watch an add, much less be excited about it! Adds are given as an option to watch or not. If you do you are rewarded with a few credits you can use to update your towers. This is brilliant and I have watched more adds in the week playing this game than I EVER have with any other game. The Bad: A few bugs have made several levels unplayable and thus leading to an uninstall. This of course means if I want to play again to see if the bug has been resolved I have to start over. As cloud storage is mentioned above, this will likely disincentivize me to even start.

I think it need a little more polish. It's weird that I can't change the target priority of my turrets, I want some turrets to attack the weak ones or the strong ones, but I just can't. Also, the story elements have room for imporvement, it feels boring and you forget the characters exist because of how little you see them. Overall, the game needs a few extra tools to increase the Strategy experience, but the fact that it's very long, offline and interesting, makes it a very good game.

This is a great little tower defense game. You only need to watch ads if you want to. From my experience, you can do everything in the game without ever once watching an ad if you didn't want to. I end up watching a few to upgrade some towers when I am stuck on a level, but even more than 20 levels in, it's not feeling grindy, or like I need to pay money to win. All in all, one of the better phone games I have played. Very similar in feel to Defense Grid/Defense Grid 2 on PC.

The mechanics are easy to learn and the look is appealing enough. However, the amount of information being processed will tax most mobile devices. Especally at higher map levels. So expect lag and graphic glitches. The game has seven sets of maps . Each map in the sets has 2 difficulty levels. The game is fairly engaging until to get the maps with timed switch gates. One you get to these, gameplay becomes increasing tedious. Upgrading towers while monitoring these gates sapped any enjoyment out of this for me. It's a great time killer up to a point. If they can smooth out the processing issue and rethink the method used to increase the difficulty, it could be 5-star.

Stuck at level 4. A lot of emphasis is put on weak storyline, meanwhile the tutorial is nearly nonexistent. New tower modules show up without explanation. Enemy types are unclear and confusing. No hints are given on what towers work best in different situations. This game is frustrating and not fun to play unless you built it. I keep losing and I don't even know why, or what to do differently.

This is a fun puzzle game, but it can be a bit tough to see things for older adults (40+). Be sure to have plenty of battery life or leave phone plugged in while gaming. I like the soundtrack. It doesn't have amateur sounding audio like the 2nd game does. Plus the graphics are WAY better than the 2nd game as well. You can distinguish the for one thing.

I'm five levels in and I love it so far! I haven't had to purchase anything to progress and ads are optional but since you rewarded for watching, you can choose the pacing in between levels. Unless something changes for the negative, I say they did a great job. If I had one gripe, it would be cool if each tower had a little video showing what they did before just randomly using them in battle and finding out.

Great setup, excellent potential, but really bad balance. Story line could use some love, just not interesting. I end up skipping it for the most part. The towers are pretty standard. The setup is pretty standard. The biggest thing that really helps the game is the mods you can give the towers. All in all, the game is good, just ramps up WAY too fast.

Great game. I like that you can choose to watch the advertisements instead of them being forced on me. This is extremely appreciated as I dont always have the time to waste. Watch advertisements, get rewarded. Best concept. Gameplay is very rewarding and challenging. All around great game. Love the updated art on characters.
