App is mostly functional and has some nice features, but disabling it's usage because I have a rooted device is scummy. If you security system is that poor, I should probably consider moving to another bank, not to mention the static temporary passcodes when resetting a password. I get you guys are a credit union but come'on, you can do better.

The UI is horrible. It's all third party and doesn't work well with the bank. There are delays because it has the process through the third party. It may as well be a generic banking app intended for another bank that just happens to work with this bank eventually. It doesn't integrate well into anything, and there is no benefit to having it. The mobile deposit is a joke. it continuously puts the camera out of focus when trying to take a picture of the back. By far one of the worst banking apps.

I have been trying to get into the app multiple times now add it keeps saying that there was an error and to call for assistance (no number was given) the device I was using has an Android version 10.0 so if someone could tell me why it doesn't want to work that would be great. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled may times

Worked fine on my S21 on Android 12. Like so many others, I cannot get it to load on my S22 Ultra. Eagerly awaiting a fix, because I don't want to have to use the website forever. Update 3/22/22: Since the system update to the March 1 security patch, the app once again works on my S22 Ultra. Possibly was an issue with the Game Optimization default for the phone.

Edit to my review: Someone from SCFCU contacted me and we were able to figure out what was wrong with my account. I'm back in the app and everything works flawlessly. Absolutely love it. Now just work with Experian Boost ;) Original review: Haven't been able to login for over a month now. Not sure what the last update did but it broke everything and I guess no one has let your programmers know

The app itself works great and does everything I want it to do. Many improvements have been made over the years. My only complaint is when the online banking itself is down and you are kept from using the app at all. Thankfully that only seems to happen to me every few months or so. Highly recommend SC federal itself as a bank, been with them for a long time and my money has always been protected and have had great service at multiple branches in the lowcountry.

Never reliable, I'm always almost daily getting an error message when trying to even open the app saying "error occured, please contact administrator for assistance" this app is ALWAYS down. You might can catch it working once or twice throughout the day. Not only is the app terrible, the bank is terrible too. Basically have to be a celebrity millionaire with the highest credit score imaginable for them to even consider giving you an auto loan or credit card. Smh. Changing banks next week.

Since most recent update, App will not logon. No issues with online banking or anything, but the App tells me there's an error and to call the 800 number. Call the 800 number, nobody can find a problem. Uninstall and reinstall app doesn't resolve the issue. Contact email support and no response. Worked great for what I needed it to do prior to this. Edit: 6/12/2022: app still does not work. Same error. No response for support.

The app is ok to be honest, there is definitely room for improvement. There are several times each month that the app is not accessible for some reason and happens every month. There should be a better way to get support after hours weekends / etc especially when fraud - theft is the issue. It took 30 minutes to finally find a way to get someone on the phone for support which ended up being useless as it turned out to be a foreign call center who couldn't understand English and theirs was worse

I use this app every day and I love it. It's very convenient to have the control of your finances in the palm of your hands: transfers from one account to another, bill payments, loan and credit card payments, transfers to or from my accounts on other financial institutions, remote deposits, set up appointments with my SCFCU, send money to friends and family and much more.Oh! And I am able to track my everyday transactions along with my pending transactions or deposits. Absolutely love it!

The new update prevents the app from working when USB debugging (under developer options) is enabled. Turn it off when you need to check app and back on when done if you prefer. Why they haven't sent out an update stating this is anyone's guess, and is a simple fix. **Used to work great now won't even login just get security policy violation and a force close!

This app always seems to have trouble loading. Been this way for years now. Processes too slow, gives a lot of errors, and is just underwhelming overall. With online banking being my preferred method it is disappointing. This app is one of the biggest things keeping me from switching solely to SC Federal. Also weird that account history for my mortgages/auto loans only shows previous month and not every month of history.

So the day after I submitted a 2* review noting it was a 4* app when working but rating it at 2* for their going about 6 weeks and counting without updating it to work with Android Pie, they fix it. Back to 4*. Strangely, I can't edit the previous review (which even more strangely shoes at 4* despite my absolutely having submitted it at 4*), so this will likely appear beside it. At any rate, working again, so "back" to 4*.

It is sort of hit and miss sometimes on weekends. Sometimes it is working other times i just have to log into my P C. When mobile banking working its great. This is a re-edit , the app has improved greatly and had no issues for a long time. This is an update to review. The app.has been greatly improved, i can't remember the last time I experienced problems.

July 2021 updates: I would rate it zero stars if I could. Original: One of my least favorite apps. Welcome to constant errors that lock you out of your account and make you call costumer service to be able to log back in. Errors are never clear on the reason either. For example the latest error is "Application has violated security settings" and the one before that "please call customer service to unlock your account"...

I checked my balance on 3/31, and everything was fine. Imagine my surprise when, on 4/1, the app no longer works. Says "Security violation!" Checked my phone completely, nothing had changed. Then, I realize the app had updated itself. A "Really Great April Fools Day" surprise! And no way to revert back to the last working version, either. It's back to using the website if I need to check balances.

The app is not able to connect to their server. I can't use this app 95% of the time. It tells me to contact the bank (when they are closed) even after entering my CORRECT username and password. YOU SHOULD ENCRIPT MY INFO, NOT RESTRICT ME FROM IT. This app does not let me do simple things like take a screen shot, see more than 10 transactions at at time. It is as if you don't want to give us the mobility we deserve. I have reset my options twice for text alerts, but they never come.

this current version of the app has improved. original review follows: This app lacks simplicity and ease of use. It also Loads slowly, lacks intuitive features, functions poorly and is overwhelmingly bad. After 3 days of use I'm ready to go back to phone banking. The lack of multitasking with this app is probably one of the most annoying features, hit the back button, allow your phone to sleep or open another app and your automatically logged out. A fine example of a poorly designed app

Has worked reasonably well for a while (Android), occasional bugs and crashes. Like other users, however, since the most recent update I can no longer use the app. Opening the app results in "An error has occurred, please call for assistance". Stopped by SCFederal and they didn't know why it wasn't working. Tried to uninstall / reinstall with no success. Really like the app for mobile deposits -- hoping it gets resolved soon. Tried turning off "USB Debugging" and clearing data -- no luck.

After the most recent update I'm still having an error stating I have automatic click program installed. I even uninstalled nearly all my applications, cleared the app cache, and reinstalled the app but I still can not use it. I called customer support and they were not able to help me with the issue. My brother has the same exact phone and is able to use the app but I cannot.
