Crashes randomly. I'm supposed to go to an admin section for correspondence as per an email alert I received, this section is nowhere to be found. Not even a search function can be seen anywhere either... The 'Correspondence' section that is there only has docs I downloaded myself, not the new one as per the alert. Then I open correspondence and it crashed the app 3 times in a row... Serious development still needs to happen before this app can be used and trusted...

App dose not open, don't know how I'm supposed to get my annual taxes done, I have downloaded restarted my phone uninstalled and tried again and the same issue.

the app keeps logging and says could not process your request/ unsuccessful. but efilling website works. the app stopped logging in about 2 weeks ago. am using a Samsung

I can't even register. No password I create is strong enough, despite all the password generaters and complexity. I meet the requirements it asks for, but nothing is good enough

In a technological age and thus is what we get? I read ther other experiences while app was downloading, and I thought it couldn't possibly be that bad. Well, guys it is that bad. Im very familiar with SARS Efiling, been so since inception date thereof. This app is so badly put together, like someone mentioned.... "it was put together over a weekend with bottle whiskey in one hand and using ther other hand for the mouse and keyboard" You might just manage to get your individual return in

It's about what I expected. First time clicking on your tax return and it doesn't work, then you look around the app, get frustrated by the back button meaning quit application, and then try the tax return button again and suddenly it's working and I have an assessment out of nowhere. So, very buggy, but good enough for now. Too many permissions requested upfront. You're able to reject them all though.

I've been struggling with the SARS app recently and I'm honestly baffled. Every single time I attempt to log in, it simply refuses to cooperate. I've gone through the usual troubleshooting steps: clearing data and cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app countless times. Despite all my efforts, it still stubbornly fails to take me to the homepage. This has become incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the importance of accessing such services seamlessly.

This App is not user friendly, over complicated and needs a lot of work to be used by the public. The app doesn't prefill fields with info it has, tax number, cell number etc. Etc. The escape button will take you out of the app not back a step. The menu button is at the top and you are for ever traversing to the top of the screen, it would be more useful if it was at the bottom right.

Unreliability stifles all positives. Not sure if the experience is unique to me. But more often than not, it's sluggish and unresponsive. It's quite sad that the MOST accessible tool (mobile app) meant to simplify income tax for individuals happens to be the most unresponsive. For reasons unbeknownst to me, the website is way more reliable than the app. I say: quit the mobile app and optimise the website user interface for mobile devices instead. The future is on the web!

I've been unable to log into the app since downloading it a few days ago. I keep on receiving an error message indicating something is wrong and I should try again but nothing happens.

The app is not user friendly, it is frustratingly annoying, every time being taken back to the 1st screen of logging in, not progressing amy further. Please fix this app.

I just updated to V2.0.80. Authentication seems to be broken. It let's you log in, redirects to update details. When you select continue to efilling, you're no longer authenticated.

With the new authentication update I cannot log in. After updating details and supplying the OTP pin. It does not take me through to the home page and keeps jumping back to login and the new update details page. Really annoying

Horribly programmed, needs an immediate and thorough upgrade ASAP!! The written options for account registration post the selection, aren't added. there isn't a space to respond for a birthday date response, I just Gate up right there before getting my tax number. Please do better South Africans...

Absolutely useless. Firstly can't log in, had to delete and reinstall app to fix that. Then can't change my preferred method of communication or change your outdated contact details and am in a loop of getting OTPs to change it and nothing happening. Now I can't login as I have to verify through an OTP that is being sent to a cellphone number I don't own anymore which I had been trying to repeatedly change to my new number in a previous login 😵💫

The registration, forgot password and create new password functions don't work. It just keeps saying invalid password or password doesn't match even when that's not the case. Nearly every service is unavailable currently! Its incredibly frustrating and not a user friendly app at all. It doesn't make taxes anymore pleasant for us

I’ve been having login issues for months, possibly since last year. Every time I reset my password, it doesn’t update and just takes me back to the home screen, making the app unusable. I usually don’t leave reviews, but the frustration this app has caused me has pushed me to share my experience. The app’s UI/UX design is terrible and basic features like login and password reset don’t work properly. I hope the development team fixes these issues to make the app more reliable and user-friendly.

The team responsible for this app is bad at their job. A new team should be hired. After I log in, I can't load any of the menu pages as the app goes into a vicious and insanity-driven cycle of taking me to the login page where it just goes back to the home page after inserting the password. It is now worse than it was in its previous version as it not doesn't actually work.
