Worst mobile banking app around. If they can make your life harder they will. Every week they require an update, the update is usually more useless than the previous. Whoever they hired to create it needs to be sacked asap. The physical bank employees have no idea either how it works or how to fix your problem, they tell you to go to another branch. Cant wait to change banks!!!

They request completely unreasonable permissions to work. Also, the app is really slow and unresponsive. Devs should hire a designer who knows that feedback is everything. And it keeps crashing all the time on my device. Shame on you Santander.

Horrible app. ID Santander frequently stops working and you have to find a Santander ATM to re-enable it. If you travel and work abroad, you lose access to your account. It's medieval. Unreliable, unacceptable, irresponsible. DO NOT trust this app if you travel abroad.

This app is a bad excuse of a security token. You're limited to having it active on one device at a time and to switch devices you need to find an ATM, which is great when you are abroad and your phone breaks or updates to a new major android version.

Super frustrating that you can't use this app to carry out any transactions without first activating your ID Santander, which can only be done at ATMs in Brazil ( a real headache for folks who are not currently in Brazil). There should be a way to activate that feature via the app or online, not just at ATMs in Brazil.

The most of time do not open. Keep trying to connect forever. Do not give any information about what is going on, It shows that the app do not have any whatchdog even for controling time out Poor indeed. It is very stressing to use the app, i mean trying to use.

app crashes constantly & it's not Clean and simple. too much info, tooo much things and mostly you must search and search to find what u need. they could Make an app simpler & useful. Plus I don't like the fact that I need to have 2 apps (santander and santander way)... Should be only 1 app simpler and with all I need!

Expect, infinite loading screens, unexpecteds logouts and problems while using the qr code functionality. Do the job... Sometimes.... Reviewing my previous review. The app is bad, like the bank. You have tons of functionalities but find one that work properly it hard, sometimes you cant even pay a 'boleto' or see you balance, I'm really impress how a big bank like this can afford have such terrible app. If you want a good bank mobile app this app is not for you.

This app is horrible. It use to be good, but from now it is impossible to log in. When you enter your password and confirm, the loading screen is forever and never! From the last 2 months I have been using the internet banking, what is not productive nowdays because life is so fast, time is so fast and a good and usual app is the minimum experience a bank must offer to theirs clients.

The app is very good. The interface is easy to understand and easy to use. 2 things I think should get better: first, this app graphical interface does not compare to the "Way" App. The way app is a lot better in it's interface and responsiveness. Second, and the most important: In android 9, it's possible to activate the Santander ID just from SMS. In android 10 tho, not anymore. It is mandatory to go to an ATM to activate the Santander ID. Why? Don't know. Hope it's back soon.

After a mandatory update in September/October the system requested me to go to an ATM to do a new validation, unfortunatelly they forgot to send the air tickets. Santander does not respect the individuality of the citizens. Changes are badly thought and forced to the customers. All calls I have made whilst abroad result in nothing. I have received no feedback. I am 3 days in Brazil and the bank does not know what is going wrong. ID still off. The technology area is just useless!

The worst bank services and apps I have ever experienced. Everything is just horrible, the staff, the application is full of bugs and has many vulnerabilities. My VIRTUAL credit cards were cloned TWICE. One was BLOCKED and the other was just CANCELLED. Although that, the crackers still have found a way to use them. Simply the worst bank in Brazil.

First of all the App obligates me to change the password every now and then due to security measures. Additionally it makes me to spend a huge amount of time due to that or because the app is out of service. I'm very disappointed and I've already ordered a credit card from another firm considering going into any other digital bank account.

Horrible app...needs improvement urgently! Extremely slow. Just became a Santander client and the app for sure did not make a good impression. I have been trying to access my account and make a money tranfer for 5 hours now and still couldn't. It's constantly processing and then it times out.

oh yes an app to make our lives easier, but requires to go to the bloody bank to activate stuff. Plus it suddenly just decided that I can't make transfers at all nor use my credit card. I need to pay stuff and it simply doesn't let me use MY money, and it was working fine a day ago. Now I'm stuck in being a spectator of my own account. And excuse you, if I downloaded the app it's because it's supposed to be practical and easy for me, not the other way around. Pointless and useless.

The application fails to authenticate sometimes, and I'm required to type my credentials again. Also, as soon as I log in, a pop-up is displayed every single time, offering me loans and services. If I'm looking for a service, I'll look for it within the app, so stop forcing it on me all the time.

App is slow, and it crashes all the time... specially when you are going to pay something: it starts the camera to scan a bar code, but clicking the option to manually enter the number immediately restarts the app... disabling internal notifications is also very difficult, because for a simple action you shouldn't see a loading icon covering the entire screen... anyway aside from these points, it does the basic functions for a bank app well.

The overall design an UI is good enough, although the functions could be better grouped. The main failure is that it quite often gets stuck in an unusable state, even after leaving the app through the menu . I had to adjust to the work flow of first killing the app and then opening it. Solve this for a two star raise. On the other hand, writing to their contact address elicits no answer, so they lose one star.

The app is extremely lazy, even to perform simple tasks like showing the home screen or to logging in. Sometimes I can't pay some bills using this app ('Service unavailable', or 'Try again later'), but when I try another one from competitors it works. Lots of built-in adds (all kinds of loans and credit cards) make the app even worst. Please fix issues and give customers the option to choose if they want to see the adds.

In my experience, the app isn't so good as most requests tend to take a long time to finish. The worst for me, though, is that I get ads about loans every single day, and I can't turn off notifications because I want to get notified about activities in my account. As an improvement, I'd suggest creating different types of notifications, so I can disable the ones about loan offerings.
