More About SAMURAI II: VENGEANCE

“Samurai II is a very entertaining title with solid gameplay and stunning graphics.” - AppSpy.com
“Samurai II: Vengeance has improved by leaps and bounds over the original, and has evolved into an extremely satisfying action hack and slash game.” - SlideToPlay.com

The long-awaited sequel to Samurai: Way of the Warrior! While the original got rave reviews for its stylized manga graphics and quick, bloody gameplay, Samurai II delivers even more action and an intuitive new control scheme.

Samurai II is a true successor, aided by over a year of focused development. Overall production values and vicious action put Samurai II on par with console 3D brawlers. Screenshots don’t do Samurai II justice – the fluid action has to be seen running at 60 frames per second.

But looks alone won’t carry a game – the developers listened to fan feedback and improved gameplay throughout. With a new virtual d-pad, dynamic camera, environmental puzzles, traps, and vicious new enemies, Samurai II is brand new experience for hack ‘n’ slash gamers on the go.

FEATURES
✔️ Intuitive virtual joystick ensures you’re slicing up baddies, not swiping the screen.

✔️ Dynamic camera finds the best perspective for each encounter, adding variety while keeping focused on the action.

✔️ Tense, quick and gory battle sequences!
- Battle hordes of on-screen enemies wielding new weapons and sporting unique abilities.
- Stay nimble and plan your attacks – roll out of harm’s way and eliminate ranged enemies like the Samurai Archer before they can strike.

✔️ Improved game play includes new features.
- Solve environmental puzzles, avoid dangerous traps, and discover useful items.
- The fight is on - not to worry, the combat never takes a back seat to platforming or fetch-quests.

✔️ RPG elements reward skilled players – upgrade the Samurai’s health, buy new attack combos and upgrade them to devastating levels.

✔️ Between levels, gorgeous anime-style comic panels tell the samurai’s tale with original hand-drawn artwork.

✔️ New survival mode pits the samurai against waves of enemies, giving hardcore players a score-attack mode to hone their skills. Two games in one!

✔️ Advanced AI system on par with console games. Goal Oriented Action Planning architecture is used in many PC and console games.

✔️ Original soundtrack – in classic samurai movie style, soft music builds with the heat of battle.

Game is fine even though gets repetitive after a while. I'm wondering ehy though after the second level i cannot go onto the other levels. They are seen as locked on the game screen , and I didn't get any message or any explanation. I finished the levels on ronin mode, and then it just stops at 2nd level. Shat am i missing? A True android game without Ads and in game puechase. It's truly brilliant. Excellent comic like graphics. Gameplay and fight combos are amazing. Minimum controls and maximum fun. The only drawback is that it is not compatible with an android controller. The button overlays don't work. However I wish all android games were similar..... no ads and no in game purchase......

"Samurai 2: Vengeance" earns high praise for its captivating storyline, immersive gameplay, and stunning visuals. With its fluid combat mechanics and atmospheric soundtrack, it delivers an exhilarating samurai experience, earning2 a solid 9/10. Last time I Played this game in year 2016 this game was beautiful back then and Guess what it is still beautiful, greatest game in mobile ever made. To be honest this is a pure game, One time payment, No Ads, Offline, Beautiful story, Amazing graphics.

This game is awesome. Overall the game is best in every aspect. But it need some improvement like new combos or anything new as every status get max out in chapter2 and there is nothing to power up. Also there are some bugs like while fighting with Shogun when I reached his leg something I got stuck or something the Shogun flys in air or get bend in vertical axis. I think this game need some improvement as I like this game and I want another part of the game.👍

Good game mechanics. Playing this game felt like watching a samurai movie. I think the game could use more depth in its story, more lore that the player can discover, and more variety of enemies. Also, a brief explanation on how to perform a one-slash-one-kill moves will make it easier for newcomers to play the game.

Even after all these years, this game still shines. One time payment, no ads, smooth controls, very colourful and vibrant graphics, nice soundtrack...you name it, this game has it. Although the campaign mode is a bit short, around 4-5 hours on medium difficulty (I'm not a hardcore gamer, so your mileage may vary), it provides enjoyment every minute. Highly recommended for people looking for a good, premium hack-n-slash game. One of the best games by Madfinger till date.

It's a pretty good game. Played through it in one sitting. Rated 4 for the bugs, some enemies cause your attacks to sound blocked even when hitting other enemies, main example is the two sworded guys doing a spin attack. The final bossfight also bugged quite a lot with the boss rotating up to 90 degrees on some attempts so he's walking with feet pointing to walls which sometimes prevented me from making any damage from any angle.

Gamepad support isn't working. After the initial opening explanation, the screen showing the gamepad layout vanishes too quickly to read. Was able to control the player with the joystick but none of the buttons would work. Using a button mapping app wouldn't even work. Please add some sort of mapping/configuration to the pause menu. Thanks.

I can't believe I waited so long to try it. I guess some bad comments stopped me. The graphics and physics are really good. I also like the story and the finishing moves. There are decent number of combos so whoever said its only 2 fighting buttons I guess is just too limited... btw I think it needs some different bosses and enemies. An update or even dlc would be awesome. Even if its paid :)

Awesome game, the only drawback it has, once you complete it, twice or trice perhaps, you will inevitably face the need to find some other game capable to deliver this magical samurai experience. Swords whistle with menace, chopped off limbs falling uselessly on the ground, blood sprays with it's own horrifying whistle. Japanese classic music and falling Sakura petals in the air. Unfortunately, you will not be able to find anything like that and will complete this masterpiece once again instead.

The best game on mobile. The visuals are extremely beautiful, so are the surroundings, cuts are clean and combos can be chosen according to the situation. I love the concept of the shop, you can buy combos and upgrade your health mid fights with 'Karma' points. It's extraordinarily light on battery and memory, you can literally pause the game and minimise it for all eternity but when you go back to the game, there will be an option to resume from where you left off. Is there gonna be a sequel?

Really enjoyable little game. The combat is sound and satisfying. The biggest issue I had was that one ability overshadowed all the others - the one that knocks enemies down. Since all the other abilities are blocked much easier, but take more time to pull off, often they just weren't as good to use. While the game was a lot of fun, it's very short & there's no replay value. Also, the high scores in the Dojo section appear to be cheated, but it's not something that really affects anything.

Really enjoyable, but as others say, the controls fail and you have to take your finger on and off the screen quite often (preferably the movement controls)to recognise your prompts again which can throw you off your game and affect your combo and dodges. Other than that, It would be 5 stars! even 6 if it was possible. So get on that to gather up all them 5 stars.

Great! but, and its a big but for me. I can move my charector with my xbox one control stick, but thats it. Not attacking. Game is suppose to support them yes? I didn't get an option for a refund, or I may have went for it. Or, a dev can help me? That would be amazing. Hence the 5 star rating for now, because its a great game otherwise.

I think this game is "out-of-town" from my perspective. I love the hack-and- slash vibe that it puts from inspirations taken from Bloodborne, The Witcher and Star Wars Battlefront (Heroes vs Villains melee/lightsaber combat). To put this in a cellphone is great and the controls are pretty solid. Graphically, it looks appealing and the title of it doesn't sound so generic. One issue that I have with it though, is that it has too short of a campaign and the training mode can get very repetitive.

Early into the game but enjoying quite a bit. The fact that you can customize the placement of the controls makes the download worth while. I like the graphics and the over all feel of the game. Not sure if there are weapon upgrades or armor to be found yet and wish there were things to find in the barrels. Pretty fun game so far.

Mind you I am aware that this is an old game, but after rebooting from not having played it in a long while, I have experienced some glitches. None of the controls appear on the screen and what little control one does have over the action is very unresponsive. So might as well try to uninstall and then reinstall it. And after doing just that problem remains the same hence, uninstalling the game. Well it was nice while it worked.

This game is not bad! Graphics are actually really amazing. Love the style and sound of the music and art. Control response time could use some improvement and could be smoother. More seamless. Gameplay value is moderate to high. Game features are basic at best (upgrades, events, game modes, etc.) Love the comic book style of the story but story could use more depth. Overall, a good game that most players will truly enjoy. Have fun!

Incredible game. Short, but incredible. Easy to pick up and put down, and the combat mechanics are intuitive. I love the transitions between stages! It doesn't contribute to gameplay, but is evidence of a very well thought out game. The storyline and graphic novel themes are gripping, and the game wasn't constantly asking me for money. Super rare for a game of this high quality. Excellent job.

This is one of my absolute favorite games to play on the play store. Definitely top 10s on my list. There none stop action, and the cartoonish graphics fit perfectly with the story. It makes u feel like your emersed in an good comic book. I definitely recommend. My only 2 draw back are the controls tend to fail and the absolute worst time and there clunky plus I just beat the whole story in a under 2 hours. GUYS PLEASE DEVEOLPE A LONGER STORY!!!!
