I've only used the "Diagnostics" feature so far, but it seems to work just fine. It's awesome that you have a utility tool at your disposal that can check your phone's functions, and give you a heads-up to problems with your device. Good job Samsung! I'll rate the other areas after I've accessed/used them.

I pushed buttons, took pictures, and recorded my voice to test my phone for functionalities. I only found one thing I didn't care for in the app. When I'm finished with the tests, it doesn't give me the option to leave. The app just gives me the option to retest or continue. As far a my rTing for ads, I just don't like adds.

Doesn't have visual voicemail, doesn't show if there are messages. The only way to retrieve messages is by holding down #1. This is like an app on a flip phone. I have a galaxy s21 and expected better. Since it doesn't alert to messages I have to check it Co stantly..Stanly.. a PEN AND PAPER because I can't see the messages and have to physically write down messages.

Please update SOS Emergency messaging, recording, and location sharing. It keeps getting enabled ACCIDENTALLY which can be very dangerous. My parents have been SOS alerted multiple times when NO emergency is occurring. It almost resulted in an unnecessary 911 call. I've had to completely disable the feature because of this. SAMSUNG. PLEASE UPDATE ASAP. Allow members to SELECT the number of power button presses required to enable the SOS feature. 4 is NOT ENOUGH. I need like 10 button presses.

Total joke. It's just a app designed so they can do as they wish with any and all data stored on or in your device. Record video and audio without your knowledge and your giving them permission. It's a constitutional violation and you can not control it. Check page two of the permissions. Select the 3 dots in the top right hand corner these are not changeable and you agree to let them invade your privacy. Some apps you are forced to use and can't even make a choice.

Well basically for every instance that it ran a test it seemed like itself is working. each test kind of didn't really touch on how well it's working.. I don't think that the vibration is intense enough I think that it's still subtle that I could easily assume that it was anything else in the room going on. when my phone rings I have a tendency to believe however it's possible that it's because the ringtone is not set and stuck in a in a locked position. I must be turning it off by accident..

The one thing I'm having problems with and the test makes no sense. Tells me to tap record and there nothing on the screen that says record. Is it the microphone symbol??? Then why don't you say so. My lower mic isn't working. That's all the app gives me is that it's not work. I already know that. Useful diagnosis would be to tell me that it's hardware issue or software or an app setting causing a conflict. Near useless.

It's awesome to know that I can run some diagnostic tests on key elements. However, it does not read USB connection, I had to fill in the blue dots for proximity with my finger since my swipes weren't enough. There is no headphone port available for the Z Flip 3 5G. I do not own a wireless charger. So the final rating will not be 100% Perhaps you could provide an option saying 'not owned' or 'not included'.

While some features work, then some features don't work. A few features were not made available in the past 2, 3, or more updates. The BIG ONE for me is the "Achive feature" in the text message menu. I can no longer save my special text messages anymore in the Achive folder. WHY IS THIS? There was a time when the end user could save their rext messages in the Achive folder...now it's not even in the menu selection. WHY? Please put this feature(s) back in the message saving. Thank you!

I love this app!! It came already on my Samsung Android z flip phone. It works good! I'm having a few issues but not sure what app is causing it, my notes can't use bold, change style or underline words, phone glitching a bit here and there and in settings it'll say something's on but won't work like my microphone or voice indication & spell check, dictionary, and a couple of things still trying to solve these issues.

Not having issues with my phone currently, but having the ability to test each of its functions is amazing, something I couldn't do with my previous phone (not Samsung). It helps to pinpoint if there's an actual problem or if you just need to restart your phone, which is necessary to do so every now and then to keep it stable. Great app, great functionality. 10/10 recommend.

Works as it should. Pretty quickly tells you if something is wrong. I wish there was an option to supercede the app into letting me mark something as ok. For example, one of the tests is wired headphones. To check it off as working you need to connect wired headphones. I don't own a pair of wired headphones. And if I do, I don't own a pair that uses usb-c nor do I have an adapter. Just being nitpicky though.. honestly the app works very well.

The new Samsung phones have become very complicated and non user-friendly. For example, adding a new phone to contacts steps is complicated, especially the step where you want to save it, which it doesn't show you where you can find this option. The phone system should show the user how to do it, like showing a guide arrow in each step. In general, this simple task is easier in "I phones". Tbh the I phones are still more user-friendly than Samsungs.

I'm impressed. The testing was smooth and the app went through the testing with precision. The test results confirmed a problem with my camera app. I clicked on FAQ expecting to sort through topics for camera tips. My camera issue was the 1st and only topic to pop-up. The camera app won't stay open to allow time to tap settings. I haven't processed the last suggestion which directs you to phone settings to check storage and memory. I'm guilty. A definite "go-to" app!

Sometimes I need to try the test again, and a few months ago, about 3 months ago, the diagnostics wasn't working for my watch, but after a month or so, it started working. Since then, I haven't had any problems, and I regularly do a diagnostics test on my watch, ear buds pro2, and my phone, and it's been flawless. I have no problems at all now.

This app is pointless! It does nothing but add games. There's not even an option that really truly explains the point of the app; other than runs diagnostics. I can do that myself. So I uninstalled it & my phone is working a lot better now & battery is no longer draining. Imagine that. A pointless app draining power & adding garbage that I never asked to be added in the 1st place.

Samsung has made a lot of improvements with this app. The phone diagnostics is awesome, and for the watch as well. You can check the condition of your battery, check sensors, and 24 other tests thar are actually very useful and helpful. Plus, it offers a couple of different ways you can contact Samusung on problems or errors in your phone, on text chat to a professional that can give walk-through to remote accessing your device for issues or problems with phone. Samsung, well done 👏!!
