It doesn't work well with my newly bought galaxy fit 3. Sometimes the app doesn't sync my steps, other times it doesn't sync my sleep etc..; This week it decided not to record any working out data and not to consider walking as workout: on the band it shows I have 1:54h working out time, but on the app 0h. I synced it manually multiple times but nothing. I find myself wasting too much time trying to figure this thing out

I can see that Samsung is trying to make the Health app be a universal tracker and they are doing a great job at this. However, there is a glaring miss on the exercise front. It doesn't look possible to create an exercise with sets, reps, and weight used. In fact, weight used doesn't show up at all for things like "triceps" or "Leg Extension". It's pretty obvious that the programmers/product managers must not do strength training at all when something so basic is missing.

Samsung health is always off track. Huge difference between the (more accurate) treadmill distance and what the watch actually tracks. App and watch will also not allow you to adjust the distance yourself to fix the problem. (Example: I walked 1.65 miles. It counted only 0.44 miles and would not let me add the 1 mile, only adjust the 0.44 up to 0.65. WHY!?!) Please just let users add accurate data! The watch and app clearly can't do it. Turning off GPS does not fix it.

Got my watch to help with medication reminders. Unfortunately, reminders only showed up on phone, not watch. Turns out I had to delete all medication and history then add them back to get the reminders back. Please work harder on this feature, it's very critical. Also consider weekly workout targets, like Fitbit. This app has a lot of potential but still needs a lot of work. Samsung is just lucky Google is doing it's best to kill Fitbit.

All around, a great app. It's very informative, and it helps to keep me on track. With that being said, I would recommend Samsung to add drums to the exercise list. I'm super sweaty after my drum sessions. It would be interesting to see my results. Update: I noticed that my Samsung Health app has taken away the Vo2 Max measurements in the past couple of days. I'm not sure why. Because of that, I have deducted one star. Please put it back on, Samsung!

Does not sync well with Samsung Galaxy Fit3. Yes, I have Galaxy S23 phone, cleared cache, uninstalled and re-installed app. It works for a few days and then the steps are not syncing when you perform an exercise. You would think app, phone, and Fitness device from the same company should work seamlessly. It doesn't. This is where Apple has an edge. Update: I called the help number and reset. Worked for 4 days and back to the same no sync issue.

Compared to google fit the results on samsung health are inaccurate. It's logging way less steps - not even half of what I do suddenly. It's also connected to MyNetDiary app and takes my food log entries but doubles my entries. So in Samsung Health, it looks like I'm living twice the meals. Used to not have issues up until recently which is frustrating when I'm trying to track my steps and have to rely on my watch now instead of the app for accuracy.

What happened to this one lovely app? Even though notifications are allowed, I open app and it tells me 0 steps recorded today. Only then does it start counting. I used to have my step count update automatically with pop-up notifications but now it's so glitchy, it counts only when I open the App. All permissions are set. Someone messed something up.

Is surprisingly good for the default health app for my watch. Mostly because there's just no good options for any of this stuff that isn't paywalled or full of invasive ads. Like it kinda lands in this valley of "I wish there was a better option." Like if the together challenges scaled to our activity level. And if it had something other than competition.

The app has improved dramatically over the years that i have been using it, however for some reason Samsung chooses not to make heart rate variability (HRV) data available in raw form (msec) and instead presents it as a proprietary and incomprehensible "stress" measurement. Sleep tracking has improved, but the presentation of data is still very basic without the ability to expand to see more details. Excercise data used to have great looking charts, that were replaced by a worse version

After spending some time using this app I have a couple of issues. I like the pause excerise feature, I hate that I cannot adjust how long before it pauses. I also hate that the app does not give my split times for walking or hiking in miles or kilometers. It gives them in laps. I don't walk or hike on a track. Giving this data is useless. You should have settings that allow us to change.

Recently switched from fitbit to Samsung watch and a bit disappointed in the food logging features of Samsung Health. There is not barcode scanner and many features seem super basic. Also my favorite exercises in the app don't sync to my watch... Eg, I have tennis as a fave but cannot find tennis on the watch. I'd love to see some updates to features to keep me as a customer.

Could be a lot better. One simple feature I'd really like to see is the ability to make Monday the first day of the week. Like others, my watch constantly vibrates and pauses my workout for no reason, significantly more since the last update. When I do water workouts it vibrates my watch the entire workout, even though I ensure not to leave the watch fully submerged long - yes, waterlock is on. Sleep and step tracking is inconsistent. Overall it's OK but not great.

New update 4/24 and it's even worse than the last update. Have power save on and can't even get 5 hours of battery life. Previously, I could go the entire day with the battery. These updates are ridiculous, wish I could go back to the previous version UNSATISFACTORY! Update to app makes the information inaccurate. Previously, there was a nice graph of speed, distance, time, heart rate. Does not exist. The heart rate record is incorrect. Very disappointing with the update.

Draining my watch to only half a days of use or less! I will delete this app if it keeps up. I bought this watch to help recognize sleep patterns but it's horrible right now. I thought the app was very helpful before but there seems to be changes and updates to the format constantly. This last one won't let me see my daily sleeps separately since I have a very irregular sleep pattern. Now it's all on one slide and only one graph.

As a newbie to the app who's neurodivergent, I'm finding this app valuable, especially in tracking sleep and step count. It's a superior app, but has areas where it needs refinement, and the one I'm most concerned with now is being able to log breaks in my sleep. Like last night I slept from 11:40pm to 3:00am and then from 5:00am to 9:30am. I had to record it as 11:40pm to 7:30am to get the gist that I'd missed both my start and wake time targets by 90 minutes. I need to be able to break it up.

App lacks ability to enter relevant details for a workout when not using the wearable For instance, the step climber workout can be recorded but you won't be able to enter stats like steps(??!) or floors climbed. This app looks good, but lacks basic functionality. Do the designers use this app at all? I raised this issue almost 1 year ago and nothing has changed. I'll probably uninstall this app soon.

Another update: The GPS tracking on a walk vs a run is way off from the true distance. Walking to a 1.5 mile turn around point shows up as 1.8 miles..... And running the same distance on the same route shows up as 1.4 miles. The time of day does not matter. All this tech hype and I'm ready to go back to a $10 Casio from Walmart. Samsung just keeps stripping useful features on this app. Still waiting for weight management to come back. That's the only way I'll buy the next watch and keep the app.

It's a versatile app with a few big issues for me. I like tracking my sleep, but recently, it seems that it's decided that every time I set my watch down, I've "fallen asleep." Now, my sleep logs are skewed because it says I am getting too much sleep. The app USED to tell the difference between when a watch was on the wrist or set down, but no longer. Wouldn't be an issue if I could manually separate when I ACTUALLY was asleep in bed, vs when the watch is down. I'll rate better if fixed.

My experience has been ok, but ever since the 6th of December, it either hasn't been counting my steps or has been counting them entirely wrong. Also, it stopped tracking my sleep. I've been having to try and remember the times so I can manually enter my sleep times. I already cleared cache and everything many times. It made this worse every time. Also, the recent updates have constantly made everything worse and even less accurate, like the calendar that is now going backwards.
