Samsung software is always lacking in features and polish compared to the competition. They try to do the whole smart app ecosystem where everything talks to eachother but it either isn't implimented or doesn't work. Just use the Google and Android versions of the apps.

Was great...app has bugs recently, though. I can't edit details of events (such as repeated events, alerts, etc) as before. When I try to, it immediately shuts down.. I'll raise stars and edit review when this changes. And yes I've done the app update. Thanks so much.

Can't edit holidays, Setting up notifications don't appear complete on the calendar with color. And only sometimes you'll get the notifications. Most of the time, I'll get notified the day before, but not the actual day.

Whatever changes and updates just occurred in this app wiped alllllll my events off the calendar. I'm so fricking pissed I could scream. And now I can't add customized alerts to each event, so no variable, individualized, advance alerts whatsoever. It's fricking worthless to me now. Whoever decided to do this suc,ks!!! I've used this app for years and loved how it worked, now it's the stupidest thing ever.

Simple & Easy to use. You will have to install Google Calendar for your main account to configure Holliday's & some other options but then when you get your calendar set up like you want it. You can delete Google's Calendar off your phone. The settings will be default then on Samsung. You don't have to add Samsung calendar to Google's other calendar option. Size is a little bigger than Google but I think it's well worth it to keep GoogSniffer out of your data. jmo Ron@Memphis, TN USA

As a digital dinosaur, the calendar app is easy to navigate. As memory fades and/or stumbles, this is a good way to track medical, dental & any other appointments. It is always with you because you always have your phone handy to view, modify, or add an event.

When older calendars are imported, it would be nice if the newer format was applied. My husband's new phone has improved format and more sticker options to label events. I'm limited to 4 only despite having a newer and more expensive phone. :-( I feel cheated. Still, it's an awesome app otherwise. 😔

None of my events show in widget. I've done every troubleshooting option I've found online. Deleting, clearing data, logging out, restarting, removing widget, playing with settings, force syncing. Nothing works.

I'm nervous about Samsung's privacy support and allowing permissions. But I have to say, their mobile calendar is so much more legible as a visual month view on a phone than my Google calendar app does. Google is really good on a browser. But Samsung just nails it for the phone.

Bring back the option to setup multiple alerts! PLEASE! Why would you remove the option to be alerted for an event an hour, several hours, 10 min before a scheduled event!? What sense does that make!? I've relied on being alerted at the right specific forecasted events. And, NOW, it is only alerting the day before the event, if it alerts you at all. WHY DO YOU ALL BREAK THINGS THAT AREN'T BROKEN! I forgot not to update this app, but I accidentally did last week & now I'm paying for it! Hate it!

Why does the page skip all the way to the bottom when I'm trying to edit the notes? I'd be in the middle of the page or ¾ down, or anywhere really & it will not stay where the cursor is, but jump all the way to the bottom of the page, by itself. This keeps happening even with the update. It is SO frustrating to have to scroll back up to where the cursor is to edit my notes. It will not stay put at where I point the cursor to edit. PLEASE fix this bug.It's been so annoying for the longest time!

Has completely crashed, as far as I'm concerned, I usually have it connected directly to my outlook, however, it no longer even shows my Outlook but says it's connected. It went from working perfectly, to not working, to working for 2 days, to not even showing my Outlook email in my calendar app. Reinstalled both and holding again.

Repeats are not working. I've done quite a bit of research and there is no save on repeats page. Yet go back to main page it says it repeats but it doesn't ! As I use this for paying bills & have spent a lot of time setting it up, I am very frustrated in that I have to spend more time manually inputting the data. I seem to have the latest version of the app. The concept of this add is good & suits my needs. Help please would be appreciated.

For the most part this calendars features are helpful! I appreciate the ability to link other calendars , this is usually fairly easy. I like being able to color code specific events to easily spot in month calendar view. I haven't had any of the problems with opening or entering events that other reviews have mentioned, mine is very reliable. The thing I would change would be to give an option in settings to make the days events into a task list that can be checked off as completed! Please!!

I've been using this calendar for years. It has almost everything I'm looking for in a digital android calender. Love how I can write entries with my stylus. That is such a big plus for me. I took a star off because the handwriting option is only enabled on the monthly view. I would like to have the ability to write in all views, especially the daily view. I'll update to 5 stars when that's updated!

Love this app, has the best functionality for integrating all calendars (person, work, other - multiple platforms) on the phone. NOTE TO ALL, if you have CALENDAR SYNC ISSUES, it's not the app. It's the phone revoking permissions of the app!!!! Try creating a calendar event from the calendars' mail app. That will prompt the phone to enable the permissions for the calendar sync to start working again. Hope you find this helpful, it saved me from having to use another app.

I cannot stand the majority of Samsung's preloaded apps! Their calendar is unwieldy, you're unable to automatically share appointments without performing a separate action using a different app.. Lacks so many of the most BASIC features, IMO it's the worst calendar app I've ever seen! Samsung is known for preloading and/or installing proprietary apps via updates you can't to uninstall (yeah you can disable or force stop, but you're still using my memory)
