What a horrible user experience! Guys, did you even test the app before releasing? While adding the card number , the cursor kept on jumping to the beginning of the field and I had to bring it back to the end FOR EVERY SINGLE DIGIT! But when entering expiry date, it expects a MM/YY entry but does not allow the "/" character. I tried everything. As a result I was not able to take my ride. Your loss!

Amusingly broken. During onboarding, it asks what payment method you want to use. After adding Google Pay and verifying with my fingerprint, it got stuck in a loop of "Loading". Exited the app and re-launched it, but was met with a white screen - couldn't even try again if I wanted to.

They say they give 300kr of bonus credits, but what they don't say that it's only if you give your credit card details first, and only after they charge you 50kr "to verify it". And unlike other services, your own credits are used first, not the bonus, which have an expire date. Not transparent at all. Edit: I gave them a chance. Unlike other services, you can only charge in 100kr intervals. Also, even if you have bought credits, it doesn't let you ride without a credit card. Please avoid!

Couldn't add payment card, tried to differente but showed Many Attempts error (try after 24h). I did try only twice before this message.

The tires surprisingly are not made for weather situations with snow, they are even dangerous! Why would they even have them during this period of year, then? Still, the pass will expire, even if you can use the pass or not!

Be aware, they sent me a fine for a "wrongly" parked scooter, using green square "photo" (probably some app glitch) as a proof for incorrect parking

the app is buggy, sometimes doesn't end the trip and takes forever. also it closes from 23 to 5am and let me stranded in the middle of nowhere having to pay an expensive taxi. this probably is the fault of some stupid Norwegian regulation I suspect

Scan didn't work, money in my account are not good enough for them to take so I can actually ride. Seems like nothing works. For the past month they've been trying to take money for a monthly pass, and they haven't done it yet. Error upon error. I could change to card directly, but then my money ain't insured so I'm good. 👍 Thanks for a month if nothing Ryde, appreciate ya'

for some reason keeps kmh only on 16 and randomly slows down itself for 5 kmh and refuses to move.

The developers should make a point system where you can collect points every ride and the use them later for a cheaper ride. I'm one of those who have all the scooter apps and just check them all and take the nearest scooter. And I don't use them often enough to become a member. That would make me choose you over the others more often. Just an idea.

You have to sign up with a mobile number, no email option, so if you're in another country and have a data sim you can't even sign up!

the scooters are cool but overpriced and they are very very very unsafe because they randomly go to 6 kmph while they drive 20 one second ago it gives me a heart attack I almost fell over so remove that also remove the speed limit of the scooter and one time I was too lazy to take a proper phote because thats just bs and they threatened me with 30 kr fine like If this was removed 5 stars instandly but right now worthy of 2 stars

(started working after re-installing) Original review: doesn't work in Sweden: my phone number is Belgian (travelling to Sweden), the app sends the SMS confirmation, but at the step of adding the payment method, it rejects both the GPay and my German bank card (master card). Sad.

Didn't manage to even register, 'cannot access location' after enabling gps, enabling precise location for the app (why?), and allowing ryde app to access location.

Such a stupid flawed sign up process. After entering phone number (which by the way should not be required) it prompts to validate image characters. I tried this code over two days and it just says image verification failed 🤦♂️. So basically you can't sign up.

I find the slogan "download & get 30€ free" to be misleading. I have never had a company "verify my cc" by actually taking money, usually they book & release and 1-2€ max. The slogan should have been "load 5€, ride for 35€". Otherwise it is fine. I had issues with app charging me money although it still showed that i had credit left, contacted the customer support and got a fast response and money back. Misleading credit isn't a good start for such a small market with so many competitors.
