Still Christmas... In July Despite all the ad revenue, apparently we're too broke to melt the snow, and will be stuck with Christmas the whole year through. Game used to be updated frequently, but it has now been 7 months since it was last touched. Assuming they've abandoned any further development of the game. ***** Reducing to 1 start because that's the same response you've been giving for months, yet nothing. Plus today, tourneys didn't end, they've gone into negative countdown.

I enjoy Ruzzle even more with the addition of Tournaments. During regular play, I find other players very game oriented and competitive. This is a simple word game that provides a lot of entertainment! well, here it is 2019. Still love this game but resent the time it has taken from me. Every once in a while I delete it and then reinstall just so I can feel like I am not addicted.

Been playing for years. Even paid for the update. Now it's been turned from a casual relaxing game into some sort of gambling thing with no prizes. It is a shame. So I've down graded my review to 1 star. I just don't like the game anymore. Someone should be fired for this bad decision. This version is so bad, I've uninstalled the game. That is how unenjoyable I find it.

Needs an update! Game takes forever to load. Freezes up a lot, and... takes my coins, but then no extra game shows up. And that extra pop-up, that was added to the tournament games.....if your finger hits it *just right*....you lose coins that you didn't intend to lose. Starting to dislike this game A LOT. And I'm using the paid version. 😡

Fast paced. Play when you're ready. My favorite word game! Update: I have literally been playing this game for years. My original review for this game was done in May 2014. Recently, the boards in the Weekly Tournament SUCK!!! They are low scoring boards with low word counts. I just had a board with a total of 11 words. Eleven!! The total score for finding all the words was 174 points. Several other boards had around 100 words total. This is not cool. This is not fun. Please fix ASAP.

....this was once a good game...once...now it is like every other money grabbing mobile game. I originally downloaded the free app and enjoyed it. Then with all the ads (I understand people want to earn $$) I went ahead and paid for the app. Well the updates to the game are designed to keep pushing you towards a deficit of the needed chips/coins/tokens needed to play. In addition, the boards haven't been changed. I see the same boards way too frequently. Customer support is eh

Taking game down ANOTHER star. It's fun challenging, competitive, but developers let it go stale. Been years with little updated or freshened up, or if so I can't update my old version. Fun holiday themes were dropped. They don't bother to fix even little things like 5-digit scores only showing 4 digits! Oh, "ad free" is misleading: you still watch ads for boosters. Cut free coins by 90%. Game also lacks clear instructions, like for teams and when new parameters are introduced. Get Golf Rival.

Used to love this game. But the developers are more and more sacrificing enjoyment for profit. As others have noted, boosters are almost essential now, but are more arduous to earn from too many ads. And in team play, instead of having a decent spread of different level opponents to play against, now the odds are almost always stacked against you for losing, making it harder to avoid having to buy the boosters. As a long-time player, I'm deeply disappointed in the choices made by the developers.

I played Scramble obsessively until it mysteriously disappeared. It took me a little bit to get over the breakup with Scramble but actually I like Ruzzle better. There aren't "cheats" *extra time, word hints, etc.) which I like because it levels the playing field. What's the point if everybody's not playing with the same time limit, etc. I always found that annoying with Scramble. Ruzzle is awesome.

Paid for subscription and still getting the free app instead. I have reported this numerous times and it's never been addressed. Even more frustrating, when you watch an ad for the two bonus features, they will frequently revert back to a black screen that does not allow you to access your game. You also lose the free bonus for which you watched the ad for in the first place. The game itself is fun and relaxing. The opponent's are typically well matched.

I loved playing this game , it was so much fun playing against the clock and your opponent, but now everyone uses all the cheat sheets to jump ahead and with all the new interferences in the game , it's just not fun or worth it anymore. ( and I have the paid version ) I find it so silly that people have to cheat over a simple game beyond me. I can only imagine what they do in real life.

Ruzzle has become so ad-heavy that it locks up constantly. Incessant ads freeze multiple times while playing. I have 110MBPS speed, fairly new phone, NO issues with any other aspect of phone but Ruzzle. It used to be my favorite game. Now it is a chore to play, waiting for the ads to load or stop freezing. (I bought app on iPad but, even though I sign in to account on phone, Ruzzle on phone doesn't believe I have paid. Do we have to pay for every device?)

Customer service is silly. Paid for coins and didn't receive them. I had to all but send a lock of hair just to be told to contact Google. Why waste my time? If I had of known it would have been that hard to get my 100 coins- yes, that is all that was missing and that Ruzzle felt like they couldn't issue even after seeing the receipt- I wouldn't have put in the energy. But hey, I like the game. Just won't be spending any more money here.

Updating my previous rating of three stars to just two stars. The most recent update has made the game so glitchy that I can't even hardly play it. When I drag my fingers across the screen it almost never gets the letters the first time, causing me wasted time. And the pop-up at the end asking if I want an extra 30 seconds for 100 coins is ridiculous. The whole idea of the game is to be good at the game, or at least it was. Now whoever is willing to spend the most money on a game gets to win 😡

This was my favorite game since 2014 but the latest update to events is questionable. Before, watching one video gave you a free power up, now you much watch 4 videos to give you the same! When playing a tournament you can now select "extra words" so you get extra points for spending coins - no skill needed! Why bother playing if your opponent can spend coins to get a few hundred extra points? This should be removed, and you should only be allowed to use one power up at a time.

This game has gotten ridiculous. The boards are so hard now, you can barely score any points. I even had a board with no vowels at all, which I have a screenshot of. I wanted to screenshot the word list but the game went haywire before the wordlist came up. Seemed a little fishy to me. Also when I watch the videos for Team play, over half the time I'm not getting any credit at all. It may be time for me to move on from Ruzzle.

The newest update has ruined the game for me. I pay for the ad free version, but now there's an endless barage of pop ups to "buy this bundle", etc. It's b.s. because it's the same as ads. I can't do anything without clearing a pop up first. They got rid of ink & make you pay for everything with coins now all while earning less coins so you will buy some via all the pop ups. At the end of games it asks if you want to buy more time or other advantages, so the one who spends the most wins? Greed.
