SO irritated with this update. Its time to say goodbye to my old friend and former FAVORITE GAME. I had purchased the ad-free version. Played nearly every day. Now I'm constantly bombarded with pleas for watching videos for coins and entering tournaments, my go-to activity, costs. Please give us an option to pay you to turn this OFF. I would gladly purchase the old version again and again, but you've ruined it.

Game is really glitchy, telling me that I need to play a round that I have just completed. Making it difficult to play. Also I am getting the error like many other players where it seems to select too many tiles when the round first starts. Please fix There are not enough letter boards, please make more, I am starting to see the same ones over and over again.

I've been playing this game for years now, and though I'm addicted, I'm also frustrated. The ads are insane! They cause the game to glitch out, lag, and freeze constantly!Sometimes I feel like I sit through more ad time or waiting for my game to unfreeze than I'm actually playing the game. I used to love this game so much more, but the extreme amount of ads are killing it. There's also a power-up where you can have the game make words for you if you're losing a competition. What? Total BS!

Too many bugs. I have to log back in after every round, it shuts down after I watch the videos for the extra 20 secs & I never get my 20 secs. I had this app before yrs ago and it was a little better than this, but overall. I enjoyed playing back then & I enjoy playing, but would like to have all these issues resolved. **Update...When playing in the tournaments, it states that the winning team will receive 3000 chips/coins, but we never receive anything near that amount. Stop cheating us.

When I 1st starteplaying this game I absolutely loved it and gave it 5 stars! I have started playing it again recently and now you have popup ads between every single round of every single match! Some of the ads are 27 seconds long! Are you freaking kidding me? That is ridiculous! So if you play against one opponent you are going to have to sit through 3 ads! I'm probably going to uninstall this game. I absolutely hate the new changes! 1 ad per 1 FULL game is more than sufficient!

I LOVED this game and paid to have no ads and have advanced pretty far but all of a sudden I was required to update and when I tried, it goes to install and then gives me an error. I have reported it through the option when I get the error and did it for months but have not gotten any response. I haven't Uninstaller because I was hoping for help- I have lots of extras and coins and it pisses me off that I will lose it all but I'm tired of not being able to do anything and will be unistalling

i like the game overall, i use to play when it first came out i think. now it's filled with ads! its ridiculous with the amount of ads they have. ad after every single round you play and you're forced to watch them unless you close out the app. EDIT: also, besides the ads, more color tiles for one. coins are kind of pointless & so is the ink after awhile. add more ways to use it besides tournaments. also, switch the boards up more. it seems like the same letters are on the board,

Absolutely love the distraction and mind stimulation. Doesn't even matter if I win or lose. I uninstalled the game just now because it's no longer recognizing the simplest of words. It starts each round selecting several letters you don't select. The opponents I play must love that I went from getting 90+words some games to 23 words. Something is severely wrong with the game. I'm not going to contact support. Fix the problems. Old version was better. Money hungry people always want more.

This is a fun game! It is possible to play and enjoy without a serious monetary or time investment and having hundreds of "friends" to play isn't a necessity. Clearer instructions would help beginners.REALLY needs a pause feature!!! Its unfair to lose a game just because a call comes in , another app interfers, or life happens! Says it pauses the game for incoming calls but it doesn't work if the call lasts more than a second.Note all login info NOW so you can keep playing after device change.

I used to love this app. Like for years. I never update my games if I can help it cuz it usually makes it worse for gameplay but I accidentally hit update and it was a huge mistake. One of my favorite things was playing the weekly challenge cuz I could play as often as I wanted without leaving someone waiting on me, so I could play at my leisure. Now I have to "pay" in chips if I want to play. Immediately uninstalled the app, after playing it for 8 or 9 years I'm sad to see it go.

I love this game. I play it pretty much every day, unless I forget when I'm out on weekends. I HAAAAATE this app. It's slow and buggy, ads that are supposed to play right after gameplay are sometimes slow and start playing during an active game, bonuses don't always register after watching an ad, ads take you to the Play Store without any interaction. The app crashed on me just now in the middle of a game. I can't in good faith give this 1 star since I play it all the time but it's poorly built.

I love this game, but it's getting incredibly laggy, probably due to all the ads. I used to lose 5 or 10 seconds on some rounds because none of my swipes register at the start. In my most recent match, I lost a full 30 seconds due to lag! Other times, I start a match and 3 or 3 seconds into it, the game freezes up and an ad starts to play. Ridiculous.

Too many apps. I have always played this game. It was my favorite. I would spend hours playing, but now it constantly freezes, lags quite often, even when loading. There are just too many forced ads. Sorry ruzzle I have to remove you after I finish up the rounds in pending status. If the game improves in the future, I will download again. I think it's a great game, but you broke what didn't need fixing.

Used to love this app but suddenly, after years of playing, it won't let me play until I update but I get an error every time I try to update!!! Gaaaa! I tried every single "fix" that Google suggests and nothing works! If the system doesn't magically fix the problem and if I lose everything in the game I'm going to be incredibly frustrated. Also - - I've submitted for help and no response.

Update: As of Dec 2023, they are forcing more unskippable ads between rounds. Used to bypass in 10s, now forced to watch 30s plus 5s to close. Removing a star. --- One of my favorite games BUT it has ridiculous acceptable words in the word lists but refuses common words. UPDATE YOUR DICTIONARY, DEV! Been playing since 2012 and I definitely have slowed down. Used to easily get 80 words. Now I'm usually getting about 60. Getting old sucks.

Updated review. I still think the ads are a bit much imo but what's even worse is that this game is now basically pay-to-win. It used to be everyone was on an even playing field. Now you can pay for extra time, pay for extra triple point letters, or pay for extra words or hey... just pay for all 3! And this is even in tournament play! Is the game fun? Sure. But, if you don't buy the coins to boost up everything you're probably never going to be at the top anymore from just skill alone. Sad.

I like word games and I'm pretty competitive. This game is fun, but even if you pay for no ads, you will still get their ads. They refuse to update the game to allow you to shuffle the letters (still!) Similar games have that feature and it makes it much better. Team play is flawed. Bonus features should only be used for current players in the current game. It shouldn't be used against future players. It sucks when you think you're going to win - suddenly the opponent wins by 2,000 points.

I love this game but for the past month or so I can not get it to stop freezing and my phone closing it down because it's not responding. I've tried deleting and reuploading. I've tried deleting other apps from my phone to free up space in hopes that maybe that was the issue. Neither of those worked.... Ruzzle is my favorite and I can't get past one round with someone's before it starts up with the glitching and being unresponsive. Maybe an update? Any idea when this issue will finally be solved

The game has the potential to be fun. The problem I have is you have to watch an ad between each round. Also if your just starting off, they have no fair pairing system meaning your gonna compete with really high levels At level 2 I've only been paired with levels 50 + and up which kinda sucks. Can we get a better pairing system going you don't seem to have one. Also, when I close out, I see games downloaded to my phone, that I didn't download but watched the ads in game. Not cool.

Level matching needs to happen. I'm generally fairly good at word games, but I'm either getting matched with nothing but stay at home soccer mom's with a decade of experience and level 90, or highschool kids running some sort of AI, or maybe there's paid features that give an unfair advantage, not sure. I just find it hard to believe that every player on there has an IQ of 999, lol. Other than that, a stimulating and fun game.
