The UI doesn't make any sense and is extremely difficult to use, I click on my use summoned familiar ability and it asks me to customize the keybind which opens a menu that doesn't exist on the mobile version. The auto-sense graphics crashes the game and does not improve the amount of graphical lag. Even on all minimal settings just rotating the camera force closes the app. Out of the multiple hours I tinkered with this app nothing has improved the lag and playing for 2mins at a time is not fun.

Been using mobile since beta May 2019. My review mentions base 90s and it being superb for skilling. Proud to announce we maxed now boys 😠all thanks to mobile. There are some improvements to be made, for example scaling is sometimes off in bank where my scroll bar cuts off part of my items. UI scaling isn't great, things are unnecessarily large without ability to resize from what I can tellscreen gets very cluttered at times. Overall it gets 5/5 bangins from me.

I have not played runescape in years and I was very excited to give it another shot. Unfortunately I have found that this game is poorly optimized for my device any action I try to take such as looting, attacking, interacting with NPCs results in EXTREMELY frequent crashing the only thing I've been able to accomplish was to claim my 10 year veteran cape. I hope to see this app progress in the future but as it stands I would consider this unplayable.

Game seems to be exactly the PC version. The bad is I'm playing on a Galaxy S10+ and the game constantly stutters anytime I move around the map. It does it to the point I get nauseous and can't play anymore. Really needs more optimization to mobile if my S10+ is having issues. Forgot to mention this game also eats through my battery faster than anything I've ever experienced on a phone.

I love Runescape but it keeps crashing on my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G. It works well until it suddenly doesn't. Sometimes it crashes within 2 minutes and sometimes it crashes after 30+ minutes. It's a great game on Windows, and until my iPhone got stolen, I was playing it there and it worked just fine. I keep deleting cache, force stop, restart my phone, reinstalling, and clearing data and nothing seems to keep it from intermittently crashing. Please help I know I'm not the only one, Jagex!

This is my favorite game, only one I've ever bought a membership for, and no regrets. They did a pretty good job translating the game to an app, and in pretty impressed with how well it works for how new it is. I only experienced one log in bug on the first day this was launched, but it was quickly resolved. It's weirdly hard to zoom in and out, and I don't like that my whole screen is taken over when talking to NPCs. Other than that, it mostly just takes some getting used to the differences

The only issue I've experienced is that as of a month ago if I attempt to change worlds the game stops working and I have to reopen the game. The biggest issue with that is I'm unable to change worlds but in the grand scheme its not a big deal. Imo, its amazing quality ESPECIALLY for a mobile game. It literally is just like playing on PC but on my phone (display is different) and its super convenient to be able to play when I'm not home. This is from a 15 yr vet-player with a primier membership.

If you want to experience combat or questing without issues, this app fails badly. However, it's value comes from being a companion app for PC players who can grind out the less intensive skills while at work or on the toilet. New players should play for the first time on PC or be prepared to be underwhelmed. Longtime players will find this app invaluable.

Have been playing the old school version on my phone but this one just seems to just keep crashing....would really appreciate an update to resolve this problem and I think a lot of others feel the same way. I've always loved Runescape since back in the day and really want to enjoy this one as well but until this issue is fixed it is 2 stars...haven't made it past the tutorial.

Please fix it keeps crashing as soon as it starts up. It loads to the main hub world then crashes as soon as I try to move. I've been addicted to old school RuneScape and I've been wanting to play this one but I can't. You guys are awesome and I know you all can fix this! Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year! Update: I did everything the page said and it helped but it's still crashing and freezing.

I have been playing RS for 16 years, since I was 12 y.o.. this app is almost easier to maneuver than the PC version. I have had the app open for hours (although it automatically logs out after 5min) and never has the app crashed! Also I skill in multiple areas without any issues. I've used 3 different android phones now, 2 of which were cheap phones... this is a great alternative to PC version.

As a long-time Runescape player, I was somewhat hesitant to appreciate the idea of the game coming to mobile. However, when I joined the open beta I was pleasantly surprised that I could enjoy doing a lot of the tasks I would plan for the day without having to go on my PC. I find it a wonderful addition to be able to skill and kill low to mid level bosses/enemies. I do feel that high level bossing is better suited to PC, given the mechanic-heavy nature and having access to many more action bars/keybinds. But people are proving me wrong and some are excelling at high level bosses on mobile, so to each their own. RuneScape has a whole has evolved a lot over the years. Particularly with graphics and updates like the Evolution of Combat. If you're hesitant to play, or restart playing, because EoC was messy on release, I would advise giving it another shot. It's been ironed-out a lot more since the initial release and is a much more fluid system than it was in its earlier stages. I'd also say that RuneScape is one of the most worthwhile MMOs on the market purely for its aesthetic when it comes to quests. Bar-none, this game has the best quest system of its kind. Lore-rich adventures and interesting, varied, storylines help mould the game world and really bring Gielinor (the name of the world where the game takes place) to life. If you like story-driven quests mixed with a bit of humor, some puzzles and combat, and a heaping dose of in-universe history and narrative that takes you on epic adventures then you'll really enjoy what the quests in this game have to offer.

Cramps an impressive amount of interaction into a small mobile screen, but it cant compare to the desktop ui. Frustratingly, the experience doesn't get better on a tablet or chromebook, as clicking on exact tiles or hunting monsters or players is extremely clunky, especially since you can't see your cursor. great for grinding and flipping on the go (dont try pking) and the mobile client never crashed on me unlike some windows experience. Needs 6/8gb+ of ram to avoid intense battery drain.

As others have mentioned UI is pretty much broken. Often have to tap on buttons 8-10 times before it does anything. Trying to zoom in or out seldom works. I can't really say much else about the gameplay, since I uninstalled it after a couple hours of frustration trying to deal with the interface. Its unfortunate as I played old PC version quite a bit. Maybe it would play better on a tablet, but I would recommend passing it by on phone.

I really wish I could give this game more stars, but this games stability is horrible it's 50/50 if the game will launch, and I have a phone that should run it just fine. In-game cutscenes and any voiced dialog breaks up and frame rate drops to like 4. Just doing anything, I risk my screen blinking and the game crashing. Runescape is still a great game that lets you do what you want and always progress towards something. Use mobile version for just basic tasks, avoid combat cause random crash.

Unhappy with the hero pass. Not sure why this change was needed/wanted. Game was great with recent updates. For the pass, I would like to see all of the game changing mechanics (dungeon damage reduction, clue scroll skips) to be the same regardless of premier status. The leveling feels so slow and the removal of dailies removes any incentive to check on a daily basis.

As a long-time player, I'm sad to see the gross monetization strategies that have been incorporated into this game recently. As a paying member, I've enjoyed content from this game for over a decade. But the ability to buy bank spaces, in-game gold, and rune metrics is a lot. The nail in the coffin is the most recent "Major Update", the Hero Pass system. They incorporated a battle pass which the only way to complete is to spend excessive amounts of money. This includes in-game buffs for content.

The game itself is good but the app is highly unstable. First I kept getting kicked back to the welcome screen after selecting the character to play with, prompting me to select my character again, and after a day of trying, I actually got in. Then it kept crashing upon opening the bank which seems to be an issue from 2-4 years ago. I googled and tried for hours, reinstalled and now I got back to my first problem, I gave up after that point. If it runs on your device, enjoy! I'll see you on PC.

I appreciate having the mobile option, especially for quick gaming sessions during my breaks at work. However, I've encountered a recurring issue where exiting the app logs me out completely, requiring me to re-enter my email for login. This becomes frustrating, as I'm unable to retrieve the verification code from my email on my phone because it then tells me that I signed out of the jagex app when I go back in to insert the code. Is there a way to fix that? Thank you!

I love this game and this is a good cell phone port, but it is laggy and crashes randomly on my Samsung S22 Ultra. I would love to give it 5 stars, but at the time I can't. Please fix the crashing issue. I can deal with some lag, but crashing in the middle of what your doing is annoying once it starts happening frequently. Overall it's a good game. I would pay for a membership if it didn't crash so much.
