Amazing game, I bought this game and played it for 3 hours straight. The story adds a lot to what I thought would be a fun rhythm game the story elements and bolt's challenges make this game even better. Huge selection of songs and optional expansions. For $3 this is best mobile game I've ever played. On top of that it doesn't suck your phone battery dry like a lot of games. Excited to see more from these developers.

Game's good! Wonderful visuals, small but nice selection, worth the money in my eyes. The game is really generous with note judgement, but there's also a huge learning curve, so it's nice. My only gripe is having to buy the game AND buy more songs in game. Other than that, I'd say it's up there with Lanota, Arcaea and Phrigos

An absolute experience even with just the base game. The controls are tought to get used to but incredibly intuitive once you undeestand the gist of it. A wide variety of songs that captures classic rhymth game style beats, clean and amazing UI. I don't buy or play much mobile games these days, but Rotaeno imo has the potential to become one of the biggest Rhymth game on this platform if they include more song variety. Can't wait to see where the game goes from here!

This is a master of the rhythm game genre. Love it, so good. Unfortunately the rotate notes makes me very dizzy, to the concern of seizure (and I'm not epileptic). If there was a way to disable the lights with those twist notes I think I could enjoy this all the way without worry, and give it the 5 stars it deserves.

So far, Rotaeno is super fun. I'm looking forward for more DLC in the future. What I recommend though is to make the Rotate notes more sensitive. I would hit some notes and then there's a rotate note and I don't have time to catch it. Or I would jerk my phone and it won't read so I have to rotate really fast. Just a little nitpick of mine.

I oringinally played this when it launched. And there was no linked account. So when they upgraded I lost my purchases from that transition. But after thinking about it a bit, I just decided to repurchase all the songs and packs. Such an amazing game and I hope it sticks around and becomes huge. Great job team. Amazing controls and design. One of the best rhythm games I have ever played anywhere(console gaming included).

I absolutely love this game, the gyro feels like it is put together with the gamplay amazingly. At first it is a bit tricky but after awhile you get the hang of it. The story mode part of it feels like it's been put together and actually thought about. And the music Is amazing but I can't wait until they get to the point of user created levels

Look at that! A game that I can just PLAY on this hell of an app store. Yes, they do have additional microtransactions on top of the 3 dollar price tag, but it is explicitly for buying new music and nothing else (so far). Even then, they put out free songs to play every so often, so for 3 dollars, you actually get a decent amount. This on top of being a rhythm game that actually functions super well on phones in terms of gameplay and control schemes is just so shockingly refreshing.

Idk why I didn't edit my review since playing. It is still super cute and they added lots of songs. Many are free and the events are a great idea. Previously left a 1 star review because I didn't know how to sign back in. I contacted support and they were very helpful in helping me get it back (over a year ago) Sorry to the team for the delayed update. Love the app, Rotaeno is among the top 5 rhythm games of all time for me.

A great game! Solid and fun game play mechanics. I can't play because of hand issues, when doing the quick "flick" sort of rotations it hurts my wrists. But I doubt this will be a problem for most people, but mentioning it for other people who have hand issues. Base game comes with plenty of songs that you can unlock. There are also paid song packs, but everything seems reasonably priced. They definitely seem to give you your money's worth!

This might be my favourite ever rhythm game, and it is certainly my favourite ever mobile game. The controls are so spot on, the difficulty has a great scale - you quickly feel like you are good enough at it to engage with the more dynamic stuff at difficulty level 6+. It's weebier than I'm completely comfortable with, but I suppose so is Osu, so I guess that's just the accepted style. My only feedback is I'd love to see what my note stats were for previously set high scores. Cheers :)

Rotaeno is an amazing rhythm game that adds physical rotation to the core gameplay. The game itself has everything: easier difficulties for beginners, challenging difficulties for experienced players, beautifully crafted beatmaps, a good selection of songs to start on with more to unlock, and even a story section for the character. In my time playing, the gyroscope controls for both normal and flat modes are accurate and responsive, feeling very smooth. I absolutely love the game already.

In my opinion one of the best rhythm games I've ever played it has a mix of beauty from the art to the story, I just want the story to be and anime! songs are amazing , notes are responsive and the story is compelling, this game truly is a work of art, (also that one part that's Japanese I. Don't know if it was intentional but I couldn't find it after the update it translated to: ……wrong, Even the most hypocritical person can't keep crying for him for twelve years.

This is a fantastic, fun, and challenging game. I will play it for a long time to come. Here are my complaints: - Miles and Badges max out which actually discourages you from playing the game once you clear the story even though you have a ton left to do. - Game stutters sometimes on Galaxy S23 which is very bad for a rhythm game. Has ruined my FC many times. Most of the time is fine though. And that's it :) great game, I highly recommend to any fan of rhythm games. One of my favorites easily.

Lost all songs and progress, doesn't look like they're coming back. Whatever update they've made between the initial release and now has completely screwed me over. EDIT: God damn this game is too fun. Restarting didn't stop me, and frankly, I don't think I'll have to restart again. The game is cool and the devs make this fresh for their players. Their charts and song selection have gotten waaaay better over time. The game stopped feeling like a grind.

My favorite rhythm game from a gameplay standpoint! The charts are fun and satisfying, and the skill floor/ceiling is very good. I enjoy all the extra challenges and events as well. My only gripe is how much is behind a paywall(a majority of the songs), but you can still get a pretty good experience without paying more than the initial app price. Overall, a very good game I've been playing consistently for the 2 years since launch.

I love this rhythm game so much and the new update that just released but there is one issue I have so far that the previous version didn't have. The game will freeze quickly then go back to normal speed but all inputs when it does freeze won't be registered so it screwed me up a few times. I've tried alot of things to get this issue to stop like limiting the number of frames to 60 to 90 FPS but didn't work. It could be my phone doing this but I ain't sure.

Very fun and original rhythm game with surprisingly responsive controls. I play other rhythm games and was getting FC all perfects on difficulty 2 of 4 songs. The only disappointing thing is that there's not enough difficulties. 2 is way too easy for me and 3 is too hard because I don't like flick notes. Wish this game had a modifier tab like Quaver. Something like replace flick notes with press. Also a little too cutesy anime for my liking but that's just the rhythm game market at this point 🤷

EDIT: 6/8/24 This game was enjoyable, but I have since begun having stuttering and framerate issues during gameplay. This makes it difficult to perform well, and impacts my ability to enjoy the game. Even after a reinstall (and a complete factory reset, though that was unrelated), I am still having errors. I use a Pixel 7 Pro, running a public release of Android 14. I did not have these issues in the past, even with this same device. A friend with a 7 pro as well is also not affected.

Great game! I love the rotational aspect of the charting. It gives the game a great flow and movement option. The story is pretty good too with it's extra stunt charts which turn a few normal songs into little mini games focused on a specific gimmick like turning your device vertically, dodging mines, or memorizing patterns. It's also a great portable game. You can play it in a car just fine. I've even played it while waiting in long lines for amusement park rides. Keep up the good work! 😁👍
